Man, the Catradora tweet at 8:28 always sends me down the worst memory lane. I actually knew this persons main acc, the now infamous catradora tweet was made on a side one. Like we are from the same country and unlike other western cartoons She-ra wasn't really popular there, so when the show was airing I remember noticing them because of that. I blocklisted their main acc, not because of different opinions in ships, but because the user and people they assotiated with were truly deranged. They were a massive radfem, like serious levels of unhinged transophobic and misogynistic crap, a common discourse around those parts was shit like whether it was anti feminist to particapate in fandoms, because instead of drawing and discussing fictional men you could be dismantling patriarchy by operating a crane(yes, really), and whether you could achieve enlightened lesbianism by reflection(of course they were very nice towards bi and straight women, why do you ask?) and honestly much more deranged shit like that, but thankfully I have already erased most of it from my memory. The last time I remember ever seeing them was when they were having a meltdown because the creator of She-ra came out as trans. Man, the Catradora tweet at 8:28 always sends me down the worst memory lane. I actually knew this persons main acc, the now infamous catradora tweet was made on a side one. Like we are from the same country and unlike other western cartoons She-ra wasn't really popular there, so when the show was airing I remember noticing them because of that. I blocklisted their main acc, not because of different opinions in ships, but because the user and people they assotiated with were truly deranged. They were a massive radfem, like serious levels of unhinged transophobic and misogynistic crap, a common discourse around those parts was shit like whether it was anti feminist to particapate in fandoms, because instead of drawing and discussing fictional men you could be dismantling patriarchy by operating a crane(yes, really), and whether you could achieve enlightened lesbianism by reflection(of course they were very nice towards bi and straight women, why do you ask?) and honestly much more deranged shit like that, but thankfully I have already erased most of it from my memory. The last time I remember ever seeing them was when they were having a meltdown because the creator of She-ra came out as trans. So yeah, every time I see that tweet floating somewhere I need a minute.
