Tasneem, jazakullah khair for all these beautiful and well needed points of wisdom. I cant tell you how relatable and how needed these things were to hear. Especially being an older sister and having to figure out these things on our own, it feels so good hearing the validation that someone, like an older sister, can tell us that; what we feel is ok, what we need to do to improve, and, that we will be ok. Actually MORE than ok. Literaly tears in my eyes. Been followiing you from the early days and very happy to see you flourish into this new stage of life and motherhood. To have a lot of love inside of yourself and have no one to reciprocate you is depressing.. I've resorted to just wanting to be single forever cus this "dating" stuff is not for me.
What I love the most about listening to anything you upload is your emotional intelligence!! This was a great topic to cover. As someone who was raised in a Muslim Pakistani house, I found being that good girl gave me an identity like you explained. I don't identify with this anymore, but, even hearing you cover the topic was enjoyable because everything you said is so true and relatable! I look forward to more videos.
