The people voted and the vote elected Trump. Now, it’s time to vote again and I’m confident we’ll see a difference so long as Biden remains electable. Trump’s policies on climate change hold me against him, but for others, his poor handling of racial protests and covid-19 may be enough.
I also heard yesterday that he has a much more literal chance to handle the virus poorly. He's in quarantine.
As for the Electoral College, there has been contention that the popular vote, carved as it is into districts, can end up misrepresented in the EC. This happens when communities are divided between districts, weakening them as parts voting against other communities that have not been treated to the same. This will get you an area that's evenly distributed with R and D on the state scale weighted one way or the other. Ideally, redistricting is to be used to make sure certain demographics are represented as the population and political climates change. It does happen, but other harmful practices also happen.

Trump changed the calculus, because after he lost the 2020 election, he claimed he had won and was still the president. So the news media called him former President Trump just to be clear that he wasn't really the president anymore.

I remember going to a Denny’s with my family when I was around 14. There was this woman who just left her toddler at the table and just drove off somewhere for 20+ minutes. There was a whole commotion about it and my mom ended up sitting with the kid to keep him calm. I don’t even remember the reason why she left but I thought this story applies well to the video.

My group of friends always go to Denny's after school because it's the only place open 24 hours and we usually don't have time to do anything unless it's at 2 a.m. Denny's between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. is a great experience. It's almost empty so the staff is super casual and will just chat with you for hours about their crippling depression.

My friends and I were at a Denny's at 3am after we all went to a haunted house, before that we had been to 3 IHOPs which were all full or experiencing a problem. That night was so fun, the waitress enjoyed talking to us about our night and we made sure to tip her well.

I once drove through the U.S. and went through Ohio. I stopped at a Denny's for breakfast. When I asked the waitress for directions to the washroom, she pointed me in the direction of the kitchen. Visibly confused, I hesitated, so she asked me to repeat what I said. I obliged. She once again pointed out the kitchen, and once again I must have been visibly flustered, because the process reiterated several times. Finally, she started laughing and said 'Ohhhh honey, you're Canadian aren't you? I can tell, 'cuz you don't talk normal. You want the toilet? It's over there', and (thankfully) she pointed in a direction that was not the kitchen.
There many Denny's available for pitstops after that, given I did need to make it from the East Coast to the West Coast. But that was the last Denny's I ever visited in the U.S.
To this day, I do not know what the waitress thought I was saying.

Watching these kind of videos, makes me nostalgic of the TH-cam of the 2009-2012 era back when companies thought that TH-cam would replace cable networks. Its a shame TH-cam instead normalized the constant stream of low-effort click bait videos to be the gold standard. Making a high quality video, with actors, props and CGI, especially without an already large viewership is uneconomical and irrational when you could just film yourself 5 times talking for 10 minutes each time about some controversial topic and achieve a much better outcome. Ironically, this is what the onion does now with the onion podcasts.
