At two different high schools that I attended, I was required to take those long tests that they prep you for, and you fill in the circles on the answer sheet. I started wondering what the purpose of these tests were. One time, one of the staff there told my class that the purpose of the tests we were taking that day was to raise funds. When I moved to another city, they had me take those tests every 3-4 months, and tons of them. One day the principal informed us students that we were all required to report to the Cafeteria later that day. I get there, and there is seriously several servicemen walking around in uniform in this cafeteria. Some still with their cover on, which you're not supposed to do, indoors. Not from the military justice rules and training I received in the USAF. The principal introduces the servicemen to us, and more or less, let us know that these men are the military, so we need to watch our teenage asses. We are told we're taking a mandatory test for the military to raise funds for the school, and that this information will not be solicitation for recruitment. We begin the test, it gets quiet as shit. These young men in uniform start pacing around approximately 200-300 students. Using intimidation. Flexing. Next month I'm fully into the summer, I'm off school for another month. I get a knock at the door. It's an Army recruiter. He got my information from the test I was required to take at Maryville High School. I later joined the USAF, but had to come home early due to my chronic asthma issues. I kept passing out and nearly died there in Texas from the heat, asthma and dehydration. The water was contaminated or something for a couple days. My TI kept telling us to don't fill our canteens with the water and don't drink it.
There is some truth to it. Many students are completely occupied just surviving to the next day, and have given up inside. Ambition is not a virtue, being able to have ambitions is a privilege.

This is the funniest video ever made. I am a teacher. I watch and share this video with my colleagues during testing seasons, which happen about 3 times in one school year. It take a lot of stress off. If I could share this with my students I would! 😂😂😂

At two different high schools that I attended, I was required to take those long tests that they prep you for, and you fill in the circles on the answer sheet.
I started wondering what the purpose of these tests were. One time, one of the staff there told my class that the purpose of the tests we were taking that day was to raise funds.
When I moved to another city, they had me take those tests every 3-4 months, and tons of them. One day the principal informed us students that we were all required to report to the Cafeteria later that day.
I get there, and there is seriously several servicemen walking around in uniform in this cafeteria. Some still with their cover on, which you're not supposed to do, indoors. Not from the military justice rules and training I received in the USAF.
The principal introduces the servicemen to us, and more or less, let us know that these men are the military, so we need to watch our teenage asses.
We are told we're taking a mandatory test for the military to raise funds for the school, and that this information will not be solicitation for recruitment. We begin the test, it gets quiet as shit. These young men in uniform start pacing around approximately 200-300 students. Using intimidation. Flexing.
Next month I'm fully into the summer, I'm off school for another month. I get a knock at the door. It's an Army recruiter. He got my information from the test I was required to take at Maryville High School.
I later joined the USAF, but had to come home early due to my chronic asthma issues. I kept passing out and nearly died there in Texas from the heat, asthma and dehydration. The water was contaminated or something for a couple days. My TI kept telling us to don't fill our canteens with the water and don't drink it.
Damn man, im sorry.

There is some truth to it.
Many students are completely occupied just surviving to the next day, and have given up inside.
Ambition is not a virtue, being able to have ambitions is a privilege.
We shouldn't change the school system for that, though. We need to provide help for those students who arent motivated.
