    I love the Opeth at the beginning of the video! It's surprisingly fitting for the scenery and vibes of the video 😂

    The lake you mentioned with the large pedestrian bridge is lake Coeur d'Alene. It drops you into the town of Harrison. Great video

      Unfortunately, the section from Idaho to Missoula was pretty short being only about two days of riding for us so not so much to show. thanks for watching and happy trails.

    Another great video and I completely agree, bikepacking is the best way to travel.

    Definitely watched both videos and was inspired by this trip. Yes, you will definitely see subs in Western Washington, mostly nuclear, loved the one you found. Moose standoff - scary and unpredictable - I guess they just walked off? What tent are you using and are you completely happy with it? Thanks for all the fine work you put in!

      We waited for the Moose to walk back into the woods. Funny you just asked about our tent as we just got a new one. The one in this video is a Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3, which we have been using since 2010, well actually the second one, first one lasted until 2018. The new tent we just got is a Durston X-Mid 2 which we have only used on one 3-day trip so far. I really liked the Big Agnes but wanted something a little lighter that packs down smaller and decided to give a trekking pole tent a go instead of a free standing tent. Still too early to tell if we like the new tent! Happy Trails!

    Cool adventure. We’ve been on the trails of cour d alene and route of the Hiawatha. We love that area. Is the Olympian trail just on the east side of the Taft tunnel?

    THANKS for taking all the time along the road to make this video. Must have added at least an hour a day to your ride time. First bikepacking trip I've watched (along with your XWA) and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

      Thanks so much. It does add time but it is worth it in the end to capture the adventure and for us to share it with others. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.

    Do you happen to have the GPX route for this? I actually live in Missoula and was looking at doing the XWA all the way to Missoula haha

      @PedalPowerAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you look in the video description I provided a link to our entire ride on RideWithGPS. I don't have the GPX of just the portion that covers this video, but you can copy and modify this one to fit your needs. Happy Trails!

    You people are brave to sleep in a tent with the amount of dangerous wildlife around moose, bear, coyote, mountain lion, etc

      Part of the adventure and feel fortunate to experience the wildlife and thankfully no issues.
