Billy from Ireland here. I think your advice is well thought through and to the point. I thoroughly enjoyed your video on your last trip over here and hope you get back here someday soon.
@billyo54. Thank you Billy from Ireland!!😀 We appreciate you watching and your comments. We also enjoyed the compliments! 😀 We’re excited to return to Ireland next year. As we get into the fall and winter we’re going to release some videos of some recent trips here in the United States. Hope you watch! 👍🇺🇸🇮🇪
You guys are great. I'm from Donegal and live I Wexford now. Both these areas get ignored by tourists for Kerry and Dublin so glad you got to go. Very interesting and informative.
@thewebgal9347. Thanks for the kind words! We enjoy the tourist areas as much as anyone but there are so many great places in Ireland that few tourists ever get to see. We really enjoy smaller towns and getting away from the crowds just as much! Thanks for watching. Hope you keep watching!!
Been to Ireland twice, and it has been FANTASTIC. I didn't get to Skellig Michel (Star wars and Puffins), so I need to go back. It will be GREAT to go back again. I recommend the National Leprechaun Museum, in the Jarvis section of Dublin, just across from the Jarvis Luau station.
@donovanfoto3263 Yes, we are excited to return to Ireland! A couple of viewers have mentioned the Leprechaun Museum. We did walk past the museum last time but opted not to visit 😀
Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Henry! You have a lovely country! We’ll be sharing some episodes on our country soon- the Carolinas- and hope you’ll watch those as well!
Great video. I don't have global entry yet, but have found upgrading to Polaris class on my last couple of trips has gotten me through USA customs clearance within Dublin Airport very quickly as you get priority checkin and priority security clearance. Also, not all pound sterling is created equal. In Northern Ireland, each bank will issue their own set of pound sterling notes. Having worked as a consultant throughout the entire UK before moving to the US, I quickly learned that trying to use pound sterling notes issues from Northern Ireland banks was almost impossible in Great Britain. In England the Bank of England issues their own pound sterling notes which are universally accepted within the UK. I believe the Scottish banks also issue their own pound sterling notes, but these are generally accepted in Northern Ireland and England. ATMs at airports in Northern Ireland will generally issue Bank of England notes. If you are planning a trip purely within Ireland you shouldn't have any issue with notes issues from an ATM in Northern Ireland, but if you plan to extend your visit to other parts of the UK, you should certainly consider getting Bank of England pound sterling notes.
We had heard about the difference in pounds from country to country, but didn’t mention it since we were only talking about the ROI and NI. Still, good to be reminded of that- thanks! We’re starting our short series on the Asheville, NC area soon - hope you’ll join us for those as well!😊🇮🇪🇺🇸
A LEAP Card should be purchased for easy bus transport. Customs in Ireland was, different. It was remarkable easy. The SIM CARD was quite simple and worked just fine. The adapter I purchased in Dublin.

Congrats on the milestone guys, couldn't happen to nicer people. Also, I'm looking forward to the 99 episode 😀
Thanks so much, David! I think we might have to do some more “research” with more taste testing first…😂🍦

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Ireland. I enjoyed my trip to the USA in 2017 where my first stop was Chicago.

@@thissecondhalfadventure Thanks. You too. I haven’t been to the Carolina’s yet and overdue a return to the States.
