Journal of the Dark World Case - Vampire Entry - #001 Name - The Masquerade of Vampire Vampire of this World are similiar to us Kindred, they even use some of the same Lexicon as us, but there're a number of difference that seperate us Kindred from Cainite. 1. The Vampire of this World originate have many more Clans than our, and their origin of the Clan are much better documented. 2. They're repel by the power of Faith, which is very interesting from a metaphysical stand point, I will have to ask some of The Lancea et Sanctum for help in this to see if this also apply to Vampire of Faith. 3. They have a thing call "Generation" which determine their place and power in unlife, with higher Generation blood being less potent than those of a lower Generation, quite bizzare really, why would the Blood evolve this way? My current theory is that it help create a natural hierarchy which help Vampire cope with the Beast. The current highest Generation is 15th, and are call "Thin Blood", they can do thing which sound similiar to Dhampir, and they are hated by everyone, which seem a bit much, especially since they're very interesting. They have a different name for Vinculum call "Blood Bond", and it only last a few months, as suppose to a full year of Vinculum. The Childe of this World also have a natural Vinculum to their Sire, adding even more evidence to my theory of a natural hierarchy. They also have Ghoul, although they're less powerful than our Ghoul, and age a lot quicker without Vitae. As I observe more about this World Vampire, they're a lot more superstitious than us, sure we have Circle of the Crone, The Lancea et Sanctum, and various other minor Covenant and Bloodlines, but we also got a lot more scientific thinker than this World Vampire. This World Vampire still have the Camarilla, and they seem to be the largest faction within the Canite Society, but they only stay within city and large towns, they also have a prince system kind of like our. They also a lot more strict with their Masquerade rule and don't have any mention of Requiem. Their Traditions are also longer and much more dramatic, with 6 Traditions instead of the simple 3. The First Tradition is close to our own, but a lot more dramatic. The Second Tradition is something that doesn't really exist in our World, as it mostly enforce by the local prince rather than a universal rule. The Third Tradition is close to our Second Tradition except it's a lot more restrictive and dramatic. The Fourth Tradition is also just common sense, except for the sin of the father part, very dramatic. The Fifth Tradition is something that is so pointless and oppressive that even the Invictus would call it authoritative. And the Sixth Tradition is the most pointless of all the Tradition. Which doesn't allow for killing within the Vampire society. Most of these Tradition are pointless, but it does bring even more credit to my theory of natural hierarchy. Their Beast is similiar to us. But their Amaranth is much more sinister as it's the only way for Canite to be of a lower Generation and thus becoming more powerful. Such pitiful creature really, but fascinating in multiple way. VTM I remember my last game so vividly it ended so recently We 6 becoming the Premagin of our Clans had to call a Blood Hunt on our vary Prince he was revealed to be breaking the laws of the Masquerade to spread his influence trying to take over the land of another Prince using Cops and Politicians he made into his ghouls
i was just thinking about like how the vampires from VTM could face up against other fictional vampires like the mask vampires from jojo or the blood angles from 40k mask vampires being stronger and potentially having stands gives them a small advantage but 1 blood angle could destroy every VTM vampire due to them being true believers and having the black rage
well, a dead giveaway of any old vamp would be their size the older they are the shorter they are most people have not seen a suit of armor, but knights used to stand at 4' foot nothing so old vamps would be real short
