Journal of the Dark World Case - Vampire Entry - #007 Name - Contagion of Damnation. We found the Contagion that fester within the city, and it was more disturbing than I could ever imagine, the visual is least disturbing part of this Contagion, the sound, and oh god the smell, it shall haunt me till I go into torpor. But let back track a bit. It's been a few days since we make camp within the Anarch Movement base, and we have set up plan for what to do when we finally capture the city. So, Laula and I decided to use Panopticon to spy on the Treme member of the Primogen name Erica. When enter Erica perspective, we see her talking to the other Primogen about the tradition the city should enforce and their scheme to undermine the Sheriff and Seneschal power. As the meeting continue they start to talk in more religious tone, until the facade fall apart and they reveal themselves as the Sabbath. Which is similiar to my Covenant mix with The Lancea et Sanctum zeal. This information was good enough, but what happen next is even greater. After the Primogen finish their meeting, they decided to go to the underground level of their boardcasting company. It was normal at first, nothing out of the ordinary, but then the smell hit you, the acid and putrid smell of rotten flesh. Then the stair start to turn fleshy, and the sound, I can't barely describe it, it sound like when you step on fleshy wet mud, but it sound wrong. And then when they reach the bottom, I see the abomination, it was a pillar of rotten flesh, it was sensory overload, but I then spot the mechanical part within it fleshly body, and I knew this was the Contagion we been looking for. While the pillar was awful, the worst part come next, as the Primogen started to cut off pieces of meat off the pillar, while reciting the name of the Prince, and it was then that I finally realise that the pillar was him. The Panopticon break off as the Primogen consume the blood and flesh of the former Prince, this place is truly damn. From - Zezel, Gangrel, Circle of the Crone, of the Cryptocracy.

Journal of the Dark World Case - Vampire Entry - #005 Name - Anarch Invasion Apparently there is a counter part to our Covenant call "The Anarch Movement" and they have similiar hierarchical structure similiar to our own, but they seem to be harted by the other faction, man, why can't this World Vampire society just get along, sure our Covenant aren't buddy, but we aren't this hostile toward each other. Anyway, the reason I brought that up is that the Anarch have start to invade the city, and they been Embracing people who stand against the current Camarilla rule. The Primogen and the Seneschal are still fighting over their power within the city, but they have sent some Scourges and the Sheriff to sniff out the Anarch invader. We manage to negotiate a deal with the Anarch, we tell everything we know about the local Camarilla and they would offer us some protection. The Vampire population within the city is consider to high for this World, but it would be consider below average in our, with only 80 Vampires, after what happen two nights ago, it now at 75. We are currently hiding within the sewer system, ever since Laula kill that Harpie, the sewer been a safe place for the Anarch to base. Marique of the Treme Clan is our Anarch guide and guard, she is very excitable, that you would never guess she 300 years olds. As we travel through the sewer she started to tell tale of the Anarch conquest in other city, and the history of the Movement, which is very similiar to my own Covenant. When we arrive at the Anarch base we can see it was poorly set up, and with only 12 Vampires, while I don't think they will succeed at overthrowing the local Camarilla on their own, with our help they might have a chance, and we could control the city that way. I know it risky, and would destablized the local political environment, but I can't see any other possible way we could control this city without us having conflict with the local Camarilla, at least with this plan we have some manpower not of our own. Journal of the Dark World Case - Vampire Entry - #003 Name - Encounter with the Camarilla Me and my team have been scouting the city, looking for any sign of the Contagion or the False activity. When I felt a tingle that stir the Beast within me, and so I look up, to see a bird flying, but I can sense that the bird is something much much older. And I was right, that bird was possessd by a Harpie of the city, a partically old one at that I belive she was of the 7th Generation, her mind was quite hard to crack, but her mind can't hide their secret from me. I then project my self into a Twilight state and spy on her base, which was of course guarded by ghouls and even some Vampire. She was mended into the ground. I soon come back to my body, and tell the team my information, and so we travel to the Harpie hide out, and take out those who aren't the Harpie. When we awaken the Harpie out of the ground, she try to go invisible, but I stop her from using with a quick to the face. While I was feeding off her, I was able to gather a lot of information on the working of the Camarilla of this World and their influece within the city. The Primogen of this World have less power and influence than our own, and the Prince system act more like a Feudal system than a Oligarchy. The Prince of the city seem to be from a Clan know as Treme, and they're busy traveling in India so he left the city to be rule by his Seneschal, but with the Prince gone, the Primogen grown more brave and start to influence more of the city that they allow to. But most importantantly I found out all the name of the important people within the city. We're currently hiding from the Camarilla, but with their rigid managment, I think it will take a while for them to find us. From - Laula Ordo Dracul Mekhet of Cryptocracy.

Journal of the Dark World Case - Vampire Entry - #001 Name - The Masquerade of Vampire Vampire of this World are similiar to us Kindred, they even use some of the same Lexicon as us, but there're a number of difference that seperate us Kindred from Cainite. 1. The Vampire of this World originate have many more Clans than our, and their origin of the Clan are much better documented. 2. They're repel by the power of Faith, which is very interesting from a metaphysical stand point, I will have to ask some of The Lancea et Sanctum for help in this to see if this also apply to Vampire of Faith. 3. They have a thing call "Generation" which determine their place and power in unlife, with higher Generation blood being less potent than those of a lower Generation, quite bizzare really, why would the Blood evolve this way? My current theory is that it help create a natural hierarchy which help Vampire cope with the Beast. The current highest Generation is 15th, and are call "Thin Blood", they can do thing which sound similiar to Dhampir, and they are hated by everyone, which seem a bit much, especially since they're very interesting. They have a different name for Vinculum call "Blood Bond", and it only last a few months, as suppose to a full year of Vinculum. The Childe of this World also have a natural Vinculum to their Sire, adding even more evidence to my theory of a natural hierarchy. They also have Ghoul, although they're less powerful than our Ghoul, and age a lot quicker without Vitae. As I observe more about this World Vampire, they're a lot more superstitious than us, sure we have Circle of the Crone, The Lancea et Sanctum, and various other minor Covenant and Bloodlines, but we also got a lot more scientific thinker than this World Vampire. This World Vampire still have the Camarilla, and they seem to be the largest faction within the Canite Society, but they only stay within city and large towns, they also have a prince system kind of like our. They also a lot more strict with their Masquerade rule and don't have any mention of Requiem. Their Traditions are also longer and much more dramatic, with 6 Traditions instead of the simple 3. The First Tradition is close to our own, but a lot more dramatic. The Second Tradition is something that doesn't really exist in our World, as it mostly enforce by the local prince rather than a universal rule. The Third Tradition is close to our Second Tradition except it's a lot more restrictive and dramatic. The Fourth Tradition is also just common sense, except for the sin of the father part, very dramatic. The Fifth Tradition is something that is so pointless and oppressive that even the Invictus would call it authoritative. And the Sixth Tradition is the most pointless of all the Tradition. Which doesn't allow for killing within the Vampire society. Most of these Tradition are pointless, but it does bring even more credit to my theory of natural hierarchy. Their Beast is similiar to us. But their Amaranth is much more sinister as it's the only way for Canite to be of a lower Generation and thus becoming more powerful. Such pitiful creature really, but fascinating in multiple way. As ridiculously OP as Lasombra and Tzimisce are, only their inability to cooperate stops the Sabbat from destroying all Camarilla and Anarchs worldwide and taking over the world.

Lowkey, I'm ready for expanded lore. Like how life originated in Africa irl, we can get some interplay between the Book of Nod and the origin of Laibon. Like how certain tribes in west and east Africa have paganized Hebrew and israelite practices and rituals like aversion to pork, uncleanliness after death, xyz. Since life originated in Africa, what if Vampirism did too? and over time, after the fall of the first city and great flood, the original clan expanded to Europe while their root of clans wrapped with time.

There was a very curious gentleman who served as Sherriff here in Los Angeles for a brief time. He was about 2.5 meters tall with shoulders to match, and had facial features similar to (but not the same as) a gorilla. Neither I nor anyone I know ever heard him speak. Quite the effective Sherriff, at least in terms of scaring us all silly. Anyway, it was said he originated from sub-Saharan Africa. So, throughout your lecture I have been trying to match him with one of the--Legacies, was it?--but without success. Maybe I'm just oblivious. (OOC) Yes, I'm talking about the big guy from VTMB. Continents are not defined by their national borders, or even their physical ones. The thin that defines continents nowadays are the tectonic plates upon which they drift. That said, there are some smaller plates that interact with the larger plates, but those are considered subplates of the larger plates to which they are attached.

Judging by the fact that the Laibon clans have their counterparts in the "basic" clans, I suspect that we are dealing here with a distant cousins of the Blood. (Unlike the Asian vamps which are souls that have escaped from hell) Question: Will you focus on the individual Laibon clans?

Our DM originally set up an encounter for us to fight a white dragon wyrmling in the first few days of our new campaign. Mind you, we are in the Moonshae Isles, Gwynneth. I'm playing a Selkie bard, the druid is a Firbolg, and the Paladin, well, he's human. The druid and I were successful in calming the situation down and thanks to some very, VERY good rolls and RP, we coaxed the little guy into joining our party. He is "our child" now.

This reminds me of good Revenant variants I've seen. Some critter with an unfulfilled duty or cause can will itself back into existence without the normal cause of 'being really mad you got murdered'. They can serve as near eternal watchmen or guardians with the same burning conviction they held in life, but without most the usual downsides that come with being undead.
