Saw a couple of youtube videos of a tiktok where a twitter employee filmed herself enjoying the amenities. It look like she just attended a meeting for a few minutes and spent the rest of her day relaxing in the company building by drinking matcha latte, checking out the meditation room, playing foosball, sitting out on the rooftop deck, eating gourmet meal, drinking espresso, catching up with friends and topping off the day with red wine. This was all provided by twitter for free. So... I'm guessing that employee was one who could be safely let go. She wasn't working.

Saw a couple of youtube videos of a tiktok where a twitter employee filmed herself enjoying the amenities. It look like she just attended a meeting for a few minutes and spent the rest of her day relaxing in the company building by drinking matcha latte, checking out the meditation room, playing foosball, sitting out on the rooftop deck, eating gourmet meal, drinking espresso, catching up with friends and topping off the day with red wine. This was all provided by twitter for free. So... I'm guessing that employee was one who could be safely let go. She wasn't working.

I lost my job in COVID over email. Didn't get my unemployment till 2 months later. After I lost my apartment and had to move back in with my parents. It sucked but eventually I picked myself up and got on with my life.
