True, any tech workers can be easily dismissed/fired. However, tech work can be a lot more enjoyable than blue collar work, and require a lot of knowledge and expertise to do well. Likewise, it's tough to find candidate for tech job opening who is well qualified and capable of doing the job well. Out of many candidates interviewed, very few have required ability/expertise. So yes, easy to fire/layoff, but tough to replace an expert level professional.

@@springer-qb4dv I wouldn't say tech work is more enjoyable. The thing is with a lot of knowledge based jobs a lot of times when you get off of work you need to take the work home with you due to needing to meet deadlines and expectations. Whereas in some blue collar jobs you get to leave work at work and don't need to take it home with you.

With Covid lot of tech jobs became remote. It has become a trend that people are working 2 or 3 tech jobs. Not saying it wrong or right, just stating a fact. So even if they lose their first job, they probably have back up. If not they can find new jobs soon.

Although Elon musk appears to be extremely intelligent and talented, his personal investment, and the purchase of Twitter in my observation has nothing to do with business and nothing to do with human rights in reference to free speech. The firing of these specific teams right before the election implies personal motivations and quite frankly, it’s sad that someone who has accomplished so much cares so little about their own responsibility as the owner of one of the largest and most influential media platforms. Knowing what our country has been through this past five years is appalling.
And that is the best says he doesn’t just buy the business and takes care of business. He starts writing on Twitter continuously throughout the day. Spreading rumors without any.

This type of action always happens towards the end of the year to balance expenses with falling revenue and sometimes when when new owners take over a business. Twitter wasn't making any money. The brats should however get severance and from what I've read he's offered them 3 months of severance. They could also ask those executives that got millions after being fired to share some of their ill gotten gains. So what are they filing a lawsuit for. Like Tesla, Musk should move Twitter Headquarters out of San Francisco and out of the State of California because they are not business friendly. Facebook is next because META has and is loosing money big time.
