I’ve been here since the NASCAR heat five review back in 2020😅 like this is what we’ve been waiting for for years. Finally something to be excited about. Otherwise it was a pretty solid booth for being so simple. I made some pretty cool paint schemes within those limitations. The dev diary didn't really do much for me. @@RaiuAdami well that way it’ll make it more fair to the average Joe who has kids, and doesn’t have time or moneyto get a PC. @bostonwarrior4824 Still, it's less money out of Iracing's pocket potentially because there is a huge amount of people on PC who won't get Iracing in general just because of the pricing and lack of singleplayer.

I don't know how up to date the tracks will be, but I know they had said they had plans on doing rescans for several tracks both for iRacing and NASCAR 25, as well as scanning new tracks (I'm thinking Portland being the main one since Xfinity races there and in iRacing, Indycar as well as some other series). The track you didn't know, I think is turn 3 at Nashville SS. I could be wrong, but it has lights and seems to have an access road, so there's only a few tracks it could be: Nasvhville, Homestead, & Gateway. Kentucky does too If I'm not mistaken, but they don't race there, however, that doesn't mean they wouldn't have it in the game as a option since they have raced there in the past and iRacing has the scan.
I really hope that they release it on PC, because I don't see this as a competitor to iRacing. The causal fan will probably never buy a monthly subscription and a shit ton of tracks and cars and invest into ARCA, Trucks, Xfinity just to get to A-class. A casual fan will buy NASCAR 25 for 50ish$ dollars and have their fun with that.
Completely disagree about the take on pc ports. iracing being a sim is in a whole different world compared to the 70 dollar game that’s mainly being developed for console imo. This game won’t cause iracing to lose players at all it’s like comparing csgo and call of duty imo
My thoughts on IRacing and whether or not the game will on PC: I think it could actually be a great marketing item. Think about it, the nascar game could be considered a demo for IRacing. They could maybe add a promo where maybe you get a code for like a free 3 month trial of IRacing. That way people who enjoy the nascar game can try IRacing and, if they like it enough, can join IRacing too but also allows for people like me who hook up a steering wheel to their pc a chance to play the nascar game like it should be
I feel like they could definitely put NASCAR 25 on PC if they bundle it with iRacing where all the tracks are free and you could get whatever month/year free trial of subscription because honestly I don’t care about other motorsports, just NASCAR. As long as they don’t force me to get into getting iRacing for some features what are common in NASCAR games I think it would be a great step forward
3:10 From a business perspective, that actually doesn't make sense. If NASCAR 25 was on PC, iRacing as a company would still receive the profits from every sale of a PC copy of NASCAR 25. Also, while NASCAR 25 has some iRacing DNA, they are still two completely different products and aren't being marketed to the same demographic. I would argue that they should have a PC port of NASCAR 25 because it allows new players who don't have iRacing to be exposed to certain things about iRacing such as the physics and raw detail. If they like the game enough, they could be compelled to purchase an iRacing subscription and play both. This would be doubly beneficial to iRacing because now that person bought two of the company's products. Plus, NASCAR isn't the only thing on iRacing, so saying that you could just buy NASCAR 25 to have the same experience doesn't make sense. Also, these players that converted might also buy other cars and tracks not related to NASCAR, which again benefits the company as a whole
I don't really see this as something that would "compete" with iRacing because that's a full on sim with far more content than what a singular NASCAR game will have. Both would potentially be yearly purchases and most people that have iRacing are doing it for more than just NASCAR, but if they happen to be NASCAR fans, which is a fairly small market by comparison to all other series combined. I think the idea for ths console game or even a PC version is specifically aimed at the NASCAR fan and younger players as a sort of entry point into the world of NASCAR and to a lesser degree, sim racing. The potential net gain for iRacing's main platform is probably high because newer people that then want to compete on a larger scale will eventually get iRacing along with the NASCAR game.
Tbf I own a wheel, play some games and sims (mostly Assetto Corsa, Beamng, PC2, AMS2 and Dirt Rally 2.0) with said wheel, but like... iRacing is just too expensive for, I can't afford it, plus not really a fan of the subscription model. So yeah I definitely won't jump in iRacing for NASCAR content, but another important thing is... well I don't own a console and once again I can't afford to buy one, it would be especially a uhm questionable financial decision to get one just to play NASCAR 2025. So yeah NASCAR 2025 better release on PC or I won't buy it and I think I'm not the only one in the same or similar situation.
@@SupraKaseyYeah iRacing feels too much like a forced commitment for what I want to do because I have to play casually since I work. NASCAR 25 is a good gateway to get me there without sweating about a subscription only to find out I’m doing horrible
I’m so excited for this game! I haven’t played a nascar video game in years for obvious reasons. I hope this means it’s more of a simulation & not as much an arcade style game. I want the game to have a learning curve.
Good tire wear physics and good damage model would be nice, We need to feel the difference between the packages they run at different tracks so they cars need to feel different and also the spoiler needs to change with the correct package they run at that track, we should be able to feel our tires go away and wear down, honestly unpopular opinion but if this game is close to iracing and had heat 5 graphic I would take that all day
It would be stupid not to release it on pc. "But there's iracing" isn't an argument. I don't want to pay a subscription. I dont want to buy tracks and cars. I don't even want to play online. I just want a nascar career mode, which iracing doesn't have. At no point would I ever pay for iracing, but a nascar game on pc makes me a customer they didn't have, and were never going to get with iracing.
There has been talk that a lot of the tracks are getting rescanned. For both NASCAR 25 and iRacing. Have to remember a lot of these tracks where scanned back in 2009. They could use a refresh. And give the tracks more life to them
I'm looking forward to the game, that the gameplay isn't "so simulated" but brings more animations in the races, the United States anthem, more interactions between the driver and the team in EVERY way, more paint scheme options! and another driver customization system, more sponsors to manually place on the car, like the Forza Horizon game
The most important thing they need to nail down in graphics and physics. Realistic racing and wrecks and stunning visuals. Dont care about anything else
I am hoping they are working with companies like fanatec and Logitech. To take full advantage of their force feedback technologies such as FullForce 2.0. and logitech's trueforce. I have a PlayStation 5. So I'm hoping they just don't focus on the basic controllers too much. But also take care of the people that have steering wheels.
It’d be awesome if they could do something like nba 2k did and do the different eras of nascar with the drivers in the game and you can choose when your career starts depending on era
They need to add the old earn your stripes like the old Nascar games. It would be awesome to earn your way from bottom to the top. Start in the whelen series to truck to xfinity, to cup. It would be great to see that.

The amount of people who have invested in iRacing and are consistent subscribers, have the money to also pick up a standalone NASCAR game on PC and maintain their subscription. I think people are vastly exaggerating the amount of people who will entirely ditch iRacing in favor of a dedicated NASCAR console game that would hurt iRacing's bottom-line. I personally believe the opposite is likely to happen, if iRacing doesn't fumble the ball, and can use the dedicated NASCAR game to lure those players interested in a NASCAR only game to jump into iRacing who are hesitant and increase iRacing's overall userbase.
The way that the first point was worded, it almost sounds like NASCAR 25 is gonna basically be iRacing but on console. Cause he said, "Come over to console and still continue to develop on the pc side"
21:37 I agree with you on that point man because, it is the same with the F1 games at the moment. When Codies got the licence and they released f1 2019, it was a banger and then they outdid themselves with F1 2020 and then EA took over and I haven't touched a game since f1 2022 on the channel because ever since F1 2021, the game has sucked worse than NASCAR Ignition did And this is the case with the NASCAR game, which I hope to be playing on this channel, because the Heat games were okay but there was nothing sort of mind blowing to make you think, it was a good game and then the turd pile that was Ignition came out and it's always going to be in the back of your mind that you hope that this game isn't as bad but, with iRacing at the helm, I do have high hopes that this is going to be put the trust and faith back in the NASCAR franchise
Continue to develop sounds to me like thier inhouse stock car side of iracing may get a whole hecking upgrade because they have the license to do that.
17:11 Honestly idc about all this super realism shit thats what got us in the beat we are in now, Just give me a good driving game, with a deep career mode( start from the bottom, manage your team and funding) , a season or championship mode, quick race and maybe some kind of challenge mode and youve got a winner, I just want a dirt to Daytona or Thunder style career mode and id be happy honestly. one of the main reasons NASCAR games have become so ass is because they come out with one EVERY YEAR, so why would these companies bother putting so much work into a game when they can do the bare minimum and people still buy it
1. Fix the AI, 2. Test them fkin tracks - don't make some tracks 80% easier/harder on the same difficulty, 3. Make drivers roster able to move divisions in career - I don't want to race vs the same roster after 40 seasons in career, 4. Add more options to customize everything, especially car decals & numbers, F**k them licenses for 3 and 4
When you got games like GT, Forza and The Crew just to name a few graphics should not be bad. They should be the best they can be on next gen consoles. It’s the physics, the driving and feeling being on the track. Crashes have to look way better etc. However look wise it should look incredible and if it doesn’t fans will be pissed.

I personally believe the opposite is likely to happen, if iRacing doesn't fumble the ball, and can use the dedicated NASCAR game to lure those players interested in a NASCAR only game to jump into iRacing who are hesitant and increase iRacing's overall userbase.
Dude, the rear view virtual camera is in iR since forever? ;-)
For every car?
If I race with a hendrick car can I change my race endings to P1 every race? Does racing hendrick come with all the "benefits"😅
The way that the first point was worded, it almost sounds like NASCAR 25 is gonna basically be iRacing but on console. Cause he said, "Come over to console and still continue to develop on the pc side"
21:37 I agree with you on that point man because, it is the same with the F1 games at the moment. When Codies got the licence and they released f1 2019, it was a banger and then they outdid themselves with F1 2020 and then EA took over and I haven't touched a game since f1 2022 on the channel because ever since F1 2021, the game has sucked worse than NASCAR Ignition did
And this is the case with the NASCAR game, which I hope to be playing on this channel, because the Heat games were okay but there was nothing sort of mind blowing to make you think, it was a good game and then the turd pile that was Ignition came out and it's always going to be in the back of your mind that you hope that this game isn't as bad but, with iRacing at the helm, I do have high hopes that this is going to be put the trust and faith back in the NASCAR franchise
13:10 is las Vegas
I feel like that’s Vegas with all the Billboards
Continue to develop sounds to me like thier inhouse stock car side of iracing may get a whole hecking upgrade because they have the license to do that.
17:11 Honestly idc about all this super realism shit thats what got us in the beat we are in now, Just give me a good driving game, with a deep career mode( start from the bottom, manage your team and funding) , a season or championship mode, quick race and maybe some kind of challenge mode and youve got a winner, I just want a dirt to Daytona or Thunder style career mode and id be happy honestly.
one of the main reasons NASCAR games have become so ass is because they come out with one EVERY YEAR, so why would these companies bother putting so much work into a game when they can do the bare minimum and people still buy it
7:52 the nr2003 default is 86 xD
If we do have fictional teams, I hope we can buy them and make them better in the career mode, Silly season would be pretty cool too.
1. Fix the AI,
2. Test them fkin tracks - don't make some tracks 80% easier/harder on the same difficulty,
3. Make drivers roster able to move divisions in career - I don't want to race vs the same roster after 40 seasons in career,
4. Add more options to customize everything, especially car decals & numbers,
F**k them licenses for 3 and 4
"It didn't have to be 6 minutes, it could have been like 4" and yours didn't have to be 24 minutes. 😂
The track looks like IRP to me
im a little worried dale is wearing same clothes from the first dev diary
If it’s not on pc I’m not getting it and iracing is just to fucking expensive to have all the tracks and cars
FP1 live now
When you got games like GT, Forza and The Crew just to name a few graphics should not be bad. They should be the best they can be on next gen consoles. It’s the physics, the driving and feeling being on the track. Crashes have to look way better etc. However look wise it should look incredible and if it doesn’t fans will be pissed.
The hype is real 🫡😤🔥💜🧡
We get the best Nascar game since EA Sports before GTA6.......
