Considering this game is being made by essentially the direct descendants of Papyrus, anything less than that would be an absolute failure in my eyes. If _this_ doesn’t work out, I’ll lose all hope of a good NASCAR game ever being made again.
This. Just a decent game that doesn't have any major issues. That's all I expect, keep your expectations modest and you can't be disappointed. After many, many years of constant disappointment with regards to Nascar games, this is the only way to go. I don't even care that it's iRacing making it and the reputation they hold, I'm still skeptical until they prove otherwise. Too scarred from past failures. Many, many failures.
I want, 1. Realistic blowovers 2. Realistic soft-body damage 3. Good paint booth like in NASCAR 15 or NASCAR 09. 4. Realistic career mode. (Where you can pick if it’s your rookie season or not. And if it’s not you can pick which year you started racing.) 5. Realistic commentator dialog 6. NASCAR 09 or NR2003 replay studio 7. Make the grass grippy on the body of the car, and the track grippy to the tires. nascar heat fucked up on that
the only thing that wouldnt work here is soft body damage, I just don't think its feasible for a console nascar game to have that at the moment. That would be pretty sweet tho
@@heyogie3840 maybe not soft body damage but good damage still should be in the game. even the ea games, one big wreck and theirs sheet metal all over the track. dont understand why we cant have this
i don’t expect to see this in nascar 25, but hopefully in one of the sequels. I’d like to see “classic cars” and “classic tracks”. A pipe dream but would be fun
I think a classic mode would be cool where you get to relive different decades and race against those drivers. It would be crazy to get all the rights but it could be cool
I just want freedom thats why I love NR2003, you get to manually drive under caution, manually drive on pit road, drive wherever you want during practice.
1. Track Map 2. Rearview Map 3. Practice/ Qualifying (Starting on Pit Lane) 4. Unlockable Paint Schemes 5. a good career mode 6. Driver AI and good physics
Those are basic things that should be in the game from launch. The fact you had to list a track map just goes to show how shit the games have become recently
Also pit stall based on qualifications, ik it is like real life where they pick, but it’s better than heat where you can qualify 15th and have the 2nd pit stall
I want to be able to be suspended for a season for saying the hard R word, then after playing an "Actions detrimental" sensivity training minigame Ace Moneymaker calls me telling me Mr H. wants me to drive for him next season 😂
Aside from pretty much everything you said the other main thing i want is for the career mode to feel like a career. Whether you start a team or drive for an already existing one. I want to feel like I'm the one who is taking over that car and for me to be able to see my stats in great detail so I can feel like a driver and/or owner.
id love a like team owner mode where you can be either an owner diver or hire people to drive your car and have multiple cars. drivers moving from team to team and from trucks/xfininty up to cup would be amazing too
It would be really cool to have the ability to expand from one to two to three to four cars and being able to hire drivers like you said from below or in the current series away from other teams kind of like a sports game but most of all it needs to be available for both console and PC cuz if it's a console exclusive then you're going to lose out on some players who play PC but aren't necessarily good enough to play I racing
A mix of Thunder 2004 and Dirt to Daytona with modern graphics, 4 player split screen so you play with friends before watching the cup race on Sunday, and a bunch of classic cars and tracks, like in F1 2013.
Retro mode where you can play as older teams, older drivers drive on some of these older tracks that NASCAR has used for years Rockingham North Wilkesboro, the original layout of Searspoint, the original layout of Watkins Glen
Last one will be shot down by manufacturers/sponsors unfortunately. As much as it would be nice to see we won't see real drivers in cars that aren't theirs again
One thing I want from the '06 game is a multiplayer full season mode. For a few years my stepdad and I would just go down to the Xbox, put in NASCAR '06, we would each pick a car and just play through the entire season, chase included. No full career build up but we also didn't care that it wasn't online play. Just him and me against the computer.
My wants for the new game are 1. Modifieds (they’re probably my favorite cars in NASCAR games to race in) 2. Track Map (the fact a couple of the Heat games didn’t have a track map blows my mind) 3. The old Rival system (where you can press a button and share draft/or intimidate other drivers) 4. Actual DNFs due to wrecks instead of tire failures 5. Show what caused the caution. I did a race on Heat 3 once and hit lap 99 about to hit 100 and at the line a yellow hit and there was no indication what caused the caution, then Logano won on the restart 6. For Career Mode, don’t try to rush me to the Cup Series, if I want to stay in a lower series let me stay there. 7. An unlock system for old legends, maybe each race gives you so many points and you can use those points to buy charters of old legends like Dale Sr, Jeff Gordon, Richard Petty, etc
How about the ability to have a multi-car, multi-team operation, choosing the numbers, fonts, sponsors, drivers you want, train your drivers and pit crew, and just having an overall competitive and great gaming experience? I'd definitely like to see grudges and alliances, realistic crashes, damage (with parts flying in the wind), great paint booth, and a good soundtrack! These recent games suck when it comes to gameplay.
1. Track Map 2. A good career mode with silly season where drivers from the ARCA Series, Truck Series, and Xfinity Series or yourself can replace the drivers retiring or changing teams for the upcoming season 3. Awesome phyics 4. A great soundtrack like NASCAR Thunder 2004 5. Unlockable paint schemes 6. Unlockable legendary drivers and tracks 7. The ARCA Series, Xfinity Series, and the Truck Series 8. Paint booth 9. Old rival system 10. Actual DNFs and yellow flags that happen at random 11. Caution replays 12. Trophy room 13. Fantasy drivers 14. Custom schedule for season mode and career mode
A detail UI is a big need. I want to see everything. Track map, current, previous, and best lap time, mirror speed, etc. The UI in nascar 15 was really good
My dream NASCAR a Game is one that focuses on all eras of NASCAR, with modifieds and stock cars on a dirt track, maybe even a hudson, all the way to the modern era.
I want: Race win schemes Secret dialogue The clash The al star open The al star Custom schedule Different types of playoff formats, current, past, and fantasy.
NASCAR Heat 3 has a great soundtrack. Video game companies are not abandoning the "microtransaction" model. It's way more profitable for them because we buy the add-ons
I want a game with what I'll call a dynamic career mode, one where teams aren't static, they can fire and hire drivers based on performance. Another one that's a long shot is I want tech inspection, I want the ability to risk getting caught for an illegal adjustment that might win me the race
@@PaperBanjo64 Imagine you run into a glitch where the game thinks you make an illegal adjustment when you didn't and you lose a (possibly very important) win That alone kills the idea imo
I'd like to see more Nascar series. Give us the Canada series, Mexico series, Euro series, pro east and west series, arca and other lower series. Give us the tracks to go along with these. Give us a career mode that incorporates these. Maybe you can pick where you want to start on your way up the Nascar ladder... I also would like to see a career mode that plays like other sports games. You start at the bottom and earn contracts for performance and go through the ranks. I would love to see your rivals come along with you. I'd love to see other drivers sign with new teams or retire over time to allow space for the new up and comers. I know this was all about career mode but I always love career modes in racing games...
Just wait till you realize it’s iracing’s studio making it, be prepared to buy the tracks individually and be prepared to buy the car series individually. /j
Something I would like is weather delays and red flags so if enabled at random tracks thier could be a rain delay or the race might get shortened a tall order but something unique
I honestly want a brand new, built from the ground up career mode, a better one than the NT2004 Career Mode. The option of a career mode slider, basically like what NASCAR Heat 5 did you can choose any of the four divisions but instead of the Extreme Dirt Tour, It could probably be the Whelen Modifieds. Finally, a damage model that is realistic, something similar or close to NT2004 and BeamNG. With a DNF system that actually works,
I personally started designing schemes in Forza horizon 1, recreated several hotwheels I had in my collection (brembo Camaro being my favourite one). I then transitioned to NR2003 & Roblox paints before ditching Roblox and focusing on IRacing & NR2003. The ability to have a good paint booth (and maybe even an import export system on the PC port if it comes out)
I 100% agree with a more in-depth career mode. NASCAR loves a good story and some stories last all year. Incorporating rookie storylines or a veterans last year would be amazing.
1. I actually appreciated when you used to have to unlock alternate paint schemes. It made you feel like you accomplished something. 2. I’d like an owner mode where you can own more than one car and a career mode where if you choose to drive for an existing team but with your own number, let me use that team’s font style for the number. 3. This one is reaching a bit, but I think a track creation feature would be fun. You get to design your own track and create a race around it. And it’d be cool if you could use a map to select the geographical location like they did in the college football games of the mid-late 2000s 4. That’s all I got. I CAN ONLY COUNT TO FOOOOOOUUUURRR!!!!
I just want the damn game to come out at the Daytona 500 and have updates throughout the year. There's literally no reason for a game to come out 7 months into the season
@ultrahdminifridge7785 they've had almost a year lol and they can always update. The nascar games used to come out in September back before online an updates but now it can be better
Lightning Challenges were amazing. I went to a retro store with some friends and we got a few old sports games. We got NHL, ESPN Baseball, and Thunder03. . All my friends were amazed by the MRN radio clips when we opened up the lightning challenges. We all listen to sports radio on our own so we all froze and looked at each other when we realized what we were hearing. I distinctly remember one friend saying "I wish Madden had this." Recreating big moments in the sport and doing 'what-ifs?' is a great way to incorporate the sports history. It educates curious fans and pays homage to those that know their history. It builds intrigue and creates fans of both the sport and the game. As a New Englander, id love a 2K game where I get to break the Red Sox curse myself, or a what-if level in Madden where the Patriots actually beat the Giants to go undefeated. I think sports games have so much potential right now and while I don't expect it to happen, I hope NASCAR 25 breaks the mold
1. A game that works 2. Full control of car under cautions and pit road 3. Proper paint booth or ability to upload from pc like Nascar 09. 4. Career mode worth playing 5. NR2003 quality replay mode 6. Proper physics from handling to damage 7. Day to night transitions and weather on wet tire tracks
1:00 Facts on that. Arguably the best part of the NASCAR 15 PC port (I say this because that game is kinda trash on PC, but it's hopefully better on consoles)
I think for the paint booth the best option would be basically a straight rip of GT Sport and GT7s editors. Only issue is that offline use of them wouldn’t work if they had you upload to their servers like GT, so maybe a local storage option would be nice
Classic tracks, cars and body styles would be awesome. Maybe not with this version, but it could be a premise for a future game, potentially going back to the 50s-60s to present day and include drivers, tracks and cars from then until now.
I REALLY want to see an amazing paint booth, with options to design your own number, and the ability to use any sponsor currently in NASCAR, and maybe some from the past like m&m’s
Idea but for custom liverys do it like Lego 2k drive where you have to submit the livery to be reviewed to play it online but you can use it offline things
They should do like WWE2k and have an online Creation suite where you can download people's logos and designs for your game. Just make sure it's cross platform so people can download anything no matter what console it was made on
In addition to what you mentioned, I can think of two things I’d want. 1. More consistent wrecks throughout the field, especially in the lower series. Have younger/less experienced drivers, less skillful drivers, and maybe even old drivers who have fallen from grace, in a sense (like Kyle Busch) wrecking throughout the race. Make it more realistic, have some races that go green the whole time, but others that have 15 wrecks throughout, and not just the players fault. 2. More of a stretch, but I’d like a manager part of the game, or maybe side game down the line. Kinda goes hand-in-hand with being a team owner, but I’d like to be able to own a team, have to deal with charters and other negotiations, while making the calls of whether a driver should stay in a car or be replaced. And being able to pick the fuel and tire strategies for my teams, and maybe even have to make adjustments to the cars based on driver input. That second one might be more of a stretch, but I’d love to see it even if it’s not for a few years.
@TheIceberg to speak from experience from the eutechnyx days, I was a part of the community and a league called the paint booth club or PBC for short and we held weekly “races” where we showed off our schemes and we would vote the winners. A lot of people were very talented and I believe they had gone on to design real cars or something similar. It was fun back in those days but most of us were early 20s to mid 40s. But I believe that the younger generation did use games as their tool to get into designing
Probably some notes from other racing games: 1. Driver moves. Maybe have a driver from the Xfinity Series move up to Cup or have a driver switch teams, maybe have drivers retire. 2. Red flags. I really want this to be on here. Have a red flag come out for inclement weather, or a massive pileup (having CPUs DNF can add a bit of realism), have the race skip forward for a bit when does happen or end prematurely. 3. Weather. Every race has the optimal weather forecast we wish for in real life, but we know weather has played a role in a lot of races each season. Maybe add it with the game as well, especially those tracks that have wet weather tires. 4. Fictional Schedules. This was added before Ignition, but it went under my expectations. I would love a season where it starts at Daytona and end at Charlotte. Maybe go with the old-school Winston Cup format, or add the Playoffs for some seasons. 5. Classic Cars/Tracks. This is gonna be a big one. Maybe add some classic cars from the different eras of NASCAR or add some tracks NASCAR used to race on like Rockingham.
Something I think would be sick but probably unrealistic but have a KBM mode where you can run your own teams in the lower series that adds more depths to the game. Like I play the MotoGP games which have a similar feature and honestly love having a Moto3 and Moto2 cause it lets you enjoy the game in a different way
Totally agree with that list, but here's one cool feature they could add that could really enhance the career mode, and thats owning a multi-car team, where you can hire (created drivers as well as randomly generated) and fire drivers, crew chiefs, and crew members. I think that could add some really cool things to the career mode.
I miss a good paint booth. Had so many awesome old paint jobs. Earnhardt sr, Rusty Wallace, rainbow warrior, Derrike Cope 500 win, Davey Allison, the tide ride and several more, even made a version of a couple of my buddies street stocks.
A live service game not a yearly release (make a $30 yearly DLC instead of making us pay $70 for the same game every year.) they could even do throwback cars (Gens 2-6) with Old Atlanta, Old Bristol, The Rock and so on. An ongoing career mode from Arca (or even the Late Model CARS Tour) to Cup and eventually the Hall of Fame. Make the Cars fun to drive my biggest complaint with Forza is that you are so reliant on the lap time that if you make a simple mistake you get the triangle of disallowed time. Which is distracting At least with GT if they hold you up there's a valid reason.
im a very amature designer, and nascar game paint booth and drawing them got me started, a good booth is essential to things, especially if you have a way to upload things youve designed on your computer, also add a basic mode for starters
Driver movement in the career modes. Madden, NHL, 2K, all of them have player movement, but NASCAR makes the excuse they can’t do that because of “sponsorship issues” But then F1 goes and does it.
good points i hear you, but damage is my main issue, i want to see the battle scars like Inside Line, at least minimal, but hey we all got something we want the game to have, fingers crossed
A trophy room, track map, some stats, a paint booth. A robusy driver creation system. A season or career mode. Drivers retiring and moving up and down and replacement drivers. Being able to set the car up and stuff.
I would cry if we got a game anywhere remotely like NASCAR Thunder 03/04. With a little NASCAR 06: Total Team Control mixed in!! Also, Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band! Would love to hear some of them in the new game.
good ui, working yellow flags, livery selector, customizable career schedule, working redflags, manual pacecar/pacing phase, custom tyre wear/ fuel usage and private lobbies, bam
I want a good spectator or race replay feature. With solid camera angles and car tracking. As someone who has been working on my own racing series with my buddies having good camera coverage of our racing is a necessity.
Here's what I'd like to see A deep career mode that includes ARCA, Trucks, Xfinity, and Cup. The ability to own a multicar team or to buy teams in career mode. A deep and robust creation suite, with Community creations to be able to be downloaded. Fantasy tracks. A deep Nascar Thunder 2004 style season mode with customizable schedules. Better commentary/spotter audio and more lines. A trophy room that shows off all the trophies you've earned from the races in the game.
I've been saying this for a couple years but an eras mode in NASCAR (if done right) would be awesome. I don't we'll ever see it because of all the old sponsors that would need to be licensed, but being able to go back in time and race in the 90s and early 2000s and completely change Nascar history would probably be the best mode in Nascar ever, like I said if done right
What I want is pretty much Nascar 06 back. Buying and selling teams, though creating your own is nice, buying teams in every series, and if you don't want to race you can hire a driver to do that for you. Like you said, I want to be able to start from the bottom and slowly work my way into owning the best team in the sport. A good sound track is nice but I'd take better gameplay over soundtracks any day.
The fan experience was a cool thing in the 2006 version. Had to go sign autographs. It's rare when you're working up, but became annoying when you were popular. Go very detailed with the career mode
“Franchise mode” or Team Builder.. You can take over an existing team or start your own expand through lower divisions expand to a multi car stable. Free agents are a thing, you could bid for a Kyle Busch to make your equipment perform better than it is. Crew chief ratings and signings pit crews etc.
I want a very good very detailed presentation mode. I want qualifying to feel like it matters. Post other drivers times like what they do irl. Pre race should have cuts of driver intros of more popular drivers, highlights from races if they raced in the spring and now the fall. Playoffs should have that yellow banner and on the ticker it should show who is on the bubble. Flyovers. What gets more American then a fighter jet flying over 40 drivers ready to wreck on a Sunday. And lastly get a celebrity to do the “ driver start your engines” preferably Kevin James.😊
Things I would want Driver Changes in career mode (so it doesn’t feel like your just doing quick races) Rivalries with drivers Physics that work Online that works Paint booth A working game
Better AI, ones that actually avoid crashing at times instead of just running a line no matter what. Better career mode, one where you have more control of your team and car development. With driver changes and retirements. Better paint booth, where you can pick your sponsors, create custom schemes, and change placement on the car for your sponsors Realistic damage models
Idk why but I have a sneaking suspicion that they're gonna bring in a bunch of legacy NASCAR stuff too. Might even add in more than just trucks and Xfinity, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up throwing in Modifieds or ARCA East/West, maybe even both. Would be a more in depth career mode and yeah, some folks might just want the main 3 national series, but I'm one of those people who would do F1 career modes on 100% race distances Something I would like to see though is options in the career mode that can be toggled at the start to determine whether it's gonna be more of a dramatized run, or a more realistic racing-focused run. I appreciate both honestly. Also would be nice if we get a team/driver/car roster editor that can affect career mode playthroughs. Can create your own rivals, teammates, etc and really bring a storyline to life
Something I want is how like nascar the game inside line and nascar 14 and 15 had was the pre race intro from Mike joy and dw. I want a modern version and like actual favorites for each was based on how you are doing in the career mode
I would love a really good Silly Season where you can witness the ladder system in effect and have news during the season about drivers signing deals with teams, I would love if a driver that got the most wins or a championship in a season in the truck series went up to the Xfinity series and progressed over time and moved up to cup and most of the time have them stay with there manufacturers, a really good and realistic silly season would be great, and gotta make sure they have the clash and duels and all Star open and race, maybe even they could have schedule changes and schedule announcements, it’s alot of work but that’s the reason we pay to play these games is to get what we can out of it, we pay them for there hard work.
Modding may be the most important thing for me. It's what makes NR2003 so popular until today. I want the ability to install older cars, other tracks, new GUIs and much more without needing to change game files and possibly breaking it. Modding has to make a comeback into NASCAR games.
I want, 1. Good racing 2. Be able to race on every NASCAR track since the 1970s 3. A good paint booth 4. Realistic Blowovers 5. To be able to play in the Cup, Xfinity, Truck, Arca, Modifieds, Late Models, and maybe even dirt cars and etc 6. A mode when you can own a team do a bunch of awesome stuff in etc 7. A mode similar to the NBA My Era/My League mode and being able to simulate NASCAR through the years and also maybe run it to into the future as well 8. Good Music 9. Realistic and good commentating 10. Being able to customize physics in a way to be more arcady or more simulation like. 11. Realistic Damage maybe like Wreckfest 12. Track Map 13. A Rearview mirror 14. Practice and Qualifying that isn't ass 15. Also I want the game to work duh. Now you might be saying jeez this is alot well it's 2024 this stuff is possible I expect alot cause these companies have millions or billions of dollars and yet people in back alleyways are making better games. I HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS! But I know this stuff will never happen in 100 years because people's expectations are so low they might as well be buried beneath the Earth's crust. Also greed is at a all time high so good luck with new games NASCAR 25 I hope will be good but it will probably be just an average game like CFB 25 and people will go crazy over it.
I'd love what they have in MyNBA in NBA 2K. I have fun pretty much running the NBA so running all the NASCAR teams would also be a blast. A NASCAR Eras mode like they have in NBA 2K would also be pretty cool.
One thing I really want that I felt has been really lacking in Heat, that I don't even think is too hard to implement in at least a small way, is a sense of PROGRESSION. In the heats, when you expand, move series, gain popularity, whatever, there is no real change to the feeling. It doesn't feel like you have actually progressed any, just an extra little box or maybe some bigger numbers. One example that I miss is one of the early heats (i think heat 2), them main owners mode menu had an window in your office, where you could see your garage, and as you bought more cars, you would actually see that garage fill up. Seeing the garage fill up made it actually feel like you were progressing. Little things like that can make career modes so much more rewarding and playable, at least for me.
Thinking outside the box a little because we all want basically the same thing at this point. Nascar through the years. I dont care if the pyshics stay the same but being able to race different models through the decades. A season or career mode with the options to run any points system ever created because we are all fans of different years. I would personally love the original format all over. How about a rule set of old nascar. Single file restarts and lapped cars on the inside. If its a career mode with 20 plus seasons, Imagine having to adapt to those different rules through that many seasons where you need to change up your strategies. Make pit stops where your crew chief listens to your wants and needs and have to rely on that person instead of doing your own adjustments.
Re: the paint booth. They should look at Gran Turismo 7's livery editor feature. Its the best part of that game plus allowing users to upload their own decals and then share them so anyone can use them on their own cars is immense in how brilliant a feature it is.
I know this is probably a hot take, but I’ve personally always enjoyed the Fight to the Top career mode in NASCAR 2005 more than Thunder 2004. If NASCAR 25 has the lower series in it, I’d love to see a career mode similar to NASCAR 2005’s. But then again, any decent career mode is fine by me. I just want the on-track product to be really solid!
What do you want to see in NASCAR 25?
CHEAT CODES
Fantasy tracks. Maybe find a way to bring back some of the old ea ones back in some way
A great in depth career mode
A playable game
A playable game
A functional game that actually works.
Amen.

3. Good paint booth like in NASCAR 15 or NASCAR 09.
4. Realistic career mode. (Where you can pick if it’s your rookie season or not. And if it’s not you can pick which year you started racing.)
5. Realistic commentator dialog
6. NASCAR 09 or NR2003 replay studio
7. Make the grass grippy on the body of the car, and the track grippy to the tires. nascar heat fucked up on that
the only thing that wouldnt work here is soft body damage, I just don't think its feasible for a console nascar game to have that at the moment. That would be pretty sweet tho

4. Unlockable Paint Schemes
5. a good career mode
I want to be able to sue NASCAR in career mode and race as open team because of that
But only after your driver wins the championship and blows the whole charter system out of the water

Awesome to hear you mention the 2004 soundtrack. My old band, Motograter, was on there!
A good paint Booth.
A replay system like NR2003
A good Career mode.
Drivers going to new rides or retiring at the end of the season
Last one will be shot down by manufacturers/sponsors unfortunately. As much as it would be nice to see we won't see real drivers in cars that aren't theirs again
@ maybe if they release it on pc I’ll do it myself like GOWEN does
@erbinator79 and that is sad b3ciase Moto GP 24 allows rider switching teams. I know they can make it work somehow.
@@erbinator79f1 managed to find a way to do it, NASCAR can also
Trophy room. Chase for the Cup had one and it was awesome.
A custom season schedule for season mode. 😊
And career!
@erbinator79 cool 😎 idea 💡
My wants for the new game are
1. Modifieds (they’re probably my favorite cars in NASCAR games to race in)
2. Track Map (the fact a couple of the Heat games didn’t have a track map blows my mind)
3. The old Rival system (where you can press a button and share draft/or intimidate other drivers)
4. Actual DNFs due to wrecks instead of tire failures
5. Show what caused the caution. I did a race on Heat 3 once and hit lap 99 about to hit 100 and at the line a yellow hit and there was no indication what caused the caution, then Logano won on the restart
1. Track Map
2. A good career mode with silly season where drivers from the ARCA Series, Truck Series, and Xfinity Series or yourself can replace the drivers retiring or changing teams for the upcoming season
3. Awesome phyics
4. A great soundtrack like NASCAR Thunder 2004
5. Unlockable paint schemes
6. Unlockable legendary drivers and tracks
7. The ARCA Series, Xfinity Series, and the Truck Series
8. Paint booth
9. Old rival system
10. Actual DNFs and yellow flags that happen at random
11. Caution replays
12. Trophy room
13. Fantasy drivers
14. Custom schedule for season mode and career mode
Unrealistic let’s temper our expectations a bit like we haven’t had a game like that in 15+ yrs
@@southwesternpasirens Agreed. We haven’t had a decent NASCAR game since NASCAR Thunder 2004.
I want:
Race win schemes
Secret dialogue
The clash
The al star open
The al star
Custom schedule
Different types of playoff formats, current, past, and fantasy.
All of them but that last one, no thanks
The last one sounds cool on paper but I feel like I'd be a headache and a half to deal with most of the time
@inky.64 yeah games are supposed to be fun that wouldn't be fun
@@PaperBanjo64 Imagine you run into a glitch where the game thinks you make an illegal adjustment when you didn't and you lose a (possibly very important) win
That alone kills the idea imo
@inky.64 exactly! If anything penalties for changing motors or something before a race but no post race penalties.
Yeah I'm not looking forward to that.
Something I would like is weather delays and red flags so if enabled at random tracks thier could be a rain delay or the race might get shortened a tall order but something unique
Weather delays would be hard at least making rain races an option at road courses is easier.
The ability to have a good paint booth (and maybe even an import export system on the PC port if it comes out)
It would be awesome to have the legendary commentators from the 80s and 90s
Yeah even if they have to use AI.
One of the cool things from 21 was you could drive into the garage’s 25 should have that
I’m pretty sure the original plan was to have you spawn in the garage for practice and Qualifying
I 100% agree with a more in-depth career mode. NASCAR loves a good story and some stories last all year. Incorporating rookie storylines or a veterans last year would be amazing.
To drive to victory lane and old tracks
And it’d be cool if you could use a map to select the geographical location like they did in the college football games of the mid-late 2000s
4. That’s all I got. I CAN ONLY COUNT TO FOOOOOOUUUURRR!!!!
A new version of NASCAR dirt to Daytona is what I would love.
Well Monster Games is the one developing with iRacing. So that's a possibility if '25 becomes successful.
I just want the damn game to come out at the Daytona 500 and have updates throughout the year. There's literally no reason for a game to come out 7 months into the season
I'm in the same boat, but if they need the time to make a game on par or better than thunder 2004 I'll be fine waiting a bit longer.
This is a underrated take.
@ultrahdminifridge7785 they've had almost a year lol and they can always update. The nascar games used to come out in September back before online an updates but now it can be better
I agree with you @81casperfilp
I agree with you
All 3 NASCAR Touring Divisions Need to be in NASCAR 25.
PS: Wouldn't it be something if NASCAR 25 releases on The Very Same Day as GTA 6's Release Day
honestly they shouldnt focus on adding all 3 series, wait intill nascar 26 or the next game, they need to make the game actually work first
Then I wouldn't know what to play 1st if GTA VI and NASCAR 25 Released on the same day
Lightning Challenges were amazing.
A livery editor like the one in Gran Turismo 7 would be ideal. And an option to upload specific graphics to an online catalog for others to download.
1. A game that works
2. Full control of car under cautions and pit road
3. Proper paint booth or ability to upload from pc like Nascar 09.
4. Career mode worth playing
5. NR2003 quality replay mode
6. Proper physics from handling to damage
7. Day to night transitions and weather on wet tire tracks
Need a trophy case like 2004 had and the real trophies in victory lane such a minor detail that I think adds a very nice touch to the game
I can’t remember what game it was in, but being able to hear the crew chief and spotter in a headset and not the speakers was an amazing experience.
Classic tracks, cars and body styles would be awesome. Maybe not with this version, but it could be a premise for a future game, potentially going back to the 50s-60s to present day and include drivers, tracks and cars from then until now.
Also as I may add, catchfences. I would really like to see in a Nascar Game where catchfences work, not wonky like Nascar 08 and 09.
I REALLY want to see an amazing paint booth, with options to design your own number, and the ability to use any sponsor currently in NASCAR, and maybe some from the past like m&m’s
One feature that I would like to see is the driver switch option during races. The feature that was in NASCAR 06: Total Team Control and NASCAR 07
Idea but for custom liverys do it like Lego 2k drive where you have to submit the livery to be reviewed to play it online but you can use it offline things
They should do like WWE2k and have an online Creation suite where you can download people's logos and designs for your game. Just make sure it's cross platform so people can download anything no matter what console it was made on
Great video! I'm praying for a good paint booth too! maybe I'm a little biased lol
Probably some notes from other racing games:
To be able to do a career mode like F1 2024, where I can sign chase elliott to my race team. Maybe a full on owner mode rather than owner driver mode.
I wanna be able to drive cars from each generation
im a very amature designer, and nascar game paint booth and drawing them got me started, a good booth is essential to things, especially if you have a way to upload things youve designed on your computer, also add a basic mode for starters
Driver movement in the career modes. Madden, NHL, 2K, all of them have player movement, but NASCAR makes the excuse they can’t do that because of “sponsorship issues”
But then F1 goes and does it.
Yeah the modern F1 games are like the old-school Thunder games, would love a NASCAR game like that.
good points i hear you, but damage is my main issue, i want to see the battle scars like Inside Line, at least minimal, but hey we all got something we want the game to have, fingers crossed
A trophy room, track map, some stats, a paint booth. A robusy driver creation system. A season or career mode. Drivers retiring and moving up and down and replacement drivers. Being able to set the car up and stuff.
Id love to be able to control the car on pit road and during pace laps
How about the ability to own a muti car team
I would cry if we got a game anywhere remotely like NASCAR Thunder 03/04. With a little NASCAR 06: Total Team Control mixed in!! Also, Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band! Would love to hear some of them in the new game.
good ui, working yellow flags, livery selector, customizable career schedule, working redflags, manual pacecar/pacing phase, custom tyre wear/ fuel usage and private lobbies, bam
Add the booth people to the mix Like what they do for basketball and in NFL
With a choice of which booth, maybe mix and match...imagine Mike Joy and Leigh Diffey calling a race!
Imagine track building
I want a good spectator or race replay feature. With solid camera angles and car tracking. As someone who has been working on my own racing series with my buddies having good camera coverage of our racing is a necessity.
Here's what I'd like to see
A deep career mode that includes ARCA, Trucks, Xfinity, and Cup.
Give Us The management aspect: Race Shop, merch sales, autograph minigames, the ability to choose Crew Chiefs and perhaps Pit Crew Ability)..
The fan experience was a cool thing in the 2006 version. Had to go sign autographs. It's rare when you're working up, but became annoying when you were popular. Go very detailed with the career mode
Day in to night mechanics would be great, nascar 15 paint booth, victory lane, & a game that works
“Franchise mode” or Team Builder..
You can take over an existing team or start your own expand through lower divisions expand to a multi car stable. Free agents are a thing, you could bid for a Kyle Busch to make your equipment perform better than it is. Crew chief ratings and signings pit crews etc.
Maybe as a dlc or on the base game add classic cars like the gen 4's with a few schemes.
Also a proper cockpitcam steering animation with custom FOV and position sliders
Things I would want
Driver Changes in career mode (so it doesn’t feel like your just doing quick races)
Rivalries with drivers
Physics that work
Online that works
Paint booth
A working game
Better AI, ones that actually avoid crashing at times instead of just running a line no matter what.
Better career mode, one where you have more control of your team and car development. With driver changes and retirements.
Better paint booth, where you can pick your sponsors, create custom schemes, and change placement on the car for your sponsors
Realistic damage models
1. No glitches and actually good developers, unlike… Well you know…
Idk why but I have a sneaking suspicion that they're gonna bring in a bunch of legacy NASCAR stuff too. Might even add in more than just trucks and Xfinity, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up throwing in Modifieds or ARCA East/West, maybe even both. Would be a more in depth career mode and yeah, some folks might just want the main 3 national series, but I'm one of those people who would do F1 career modes on 100% race distances
Something I would like to see though is options in the career mode that can be toggled at the start to determine whether it's gonna be more of a dramatized run, or a more realistic racing-focused run.
I want,
1. Good racing
2. Be able to race on every NASCAR track since the 1970s
3. A good paint booth
4. Realistic Blowovers
5. To be able to play in the Cup, Xfinity, Truck, Arca, Modifieds, Late Models, and maybe even dirt cars and etc
6. A mode when you can own a team do a bunch of awesome stuff in etc
7. A mode similar to the NBA My Era/My League mode and being able to simulate NASCAR through the years and also maybe run it to into the future as well
8. Good Music
9. Realistic and good commentating
10. Being able to customize physics in a way to be more arcady or more simulation like.
11. Realistic Damage maybe like Wreckfest
12. Track Map
13. A Rearview mirror
14. Practice and Qualifying that isn't ass
Something like a Decal/Vinyl editor like what you would see in the Forza Series would be really amazing and would help creativity flourish aswell
One thing I want above all else, wreck avoidance challenges!
A cool feature that they should add is Like different series from different years from like 2000s 1990s series that you can race with
Thinking outside the box a little because we all want basically the same thing at this point.
For me, all the game really needs is good damage model, good physics, a good career mode and an online that has the community in mind.
