You really helped me. My intuition was screaming at me. She was looking through my phone so I asked to look through hers. Before she did this she started deleting messages. I messaged the guy she was texting and he told me they had been seeing each other regularly when we were together. We were days away from getting married. I really dodged a bullet.

I got cheated on for a while and found out. I was working about 16 hours a day cause I was making good money and was trying to save money so we could do something with our lives. I figured that job was not going to last long and tried to work and save as much as possible. I understand I was not fully into the relationship because of this, but I was doing it for us. I never asked questions when she was going out, I wanted her to be able to have friends and go out cause I couldn't. I trusted her 100%. When I found out she told me that I made her feel unwanted, ugly, that I destroyed her self-esteem, and that the other guy made her feel special and wanted. This happen for about 2 years. We have been together for 10 years. I found out about 8 months ago and I'm still with her. In a way a feel like a total loser for not leaving her cause I'm one of those guys who would tell other friends if your partner is unfaithful you should leave the relationship, but look at me now. I'm not even sure if she's been with other men besides the one she admitted. She would try to talk to me about her feeling lonely but I made a mistake and I didn't listen to her because deep down I figured she understood that I was working for us, for our future together. One thing I don't understand is why she didn't leave me if she felt all of that and she cheated for so long. She is truly a beautiful 29-year-old woman, she could get any guy she wants, better looking than me, with more money than me but she is still with me. I'm not ugly, I'm pretty good-looking also, but I'm def not the hottest around. It totally sucks cause now I don't trust her and she knows it in her heart. We have spoken about it all this time and we are trying to make it work but it totally sucks not trusting your partner. I have been 100% faithful. To whoever reads this, don't feel sorry for me, I just wanted to get it off my chest. I quit my job to spend more time with her and things look better but my heart is totally destroyed.
Quiting your job is the worst mistake you made or will make. Use the time to build yourself and make a better life for yourself, and you not setting boundaries but allowing her walk over you she will continue and lose all respect for you. You did nothing wrong by working hard to beat time, and she has no reason to cheat if she truly loves you. Anytime someone cheats it’s over. If you got a marriage and a family and want to try and fix it go ahead. It’s over. If the husband cheats maybe you can save it but if it’s the wife then absolutely not. I’m not as well educated as this professional who offered a well-reasoned framework for thinking about infidelity, but I’ve lived long enough to feel comfortable in asserting this opinion: in the vast majority of cases, infidelity is a cancer that is hard to put in remission let alone eradicate. It’s the reason why the Bible and New Testament in particular is clear that marriage is a three-way commitment for life between a man, woman and God with the only out being infidelity. It destroys trust no matter the circumstances, creates resentment by both parties, and often leads to emotional and physical attachments that are almost impossible to fully heal. Plus it creates and increases the possibility for future infidelity on one or both sides. Really really really hard to recover from…regardless of expert professional advice like offered by this video.

My ex cheated on me. I took her back and she did it again. They lose respect for u. THEY CANNOT HELP IT. It's biological. My most recent ex cheated and I already know I can't take her back. The damage done by females who cheat is permanent.

The mother of my daughter has cheated with 3 different guys that I know for a fact from starting July 2023 up until May 2024 all three dudes she knew before me I noticed changes the year my daughter was born 2021 of april noticed them aroung November. 2021 her reasons was I wasn’t there for her because I worked nights 5 6 7 days a week 5pm -3:30 pm it is now October 2024 she’s moving out in 2weeks and the reason is we need space and she’s tired of the arguing and nit picking which I am guilty of but honestly I do have love for her and I’m currently heart broken about everything

It’s really a sad thing ylu went through. What I learnt is as a guy, never take back a woman who’s cheating and sleeping with another guy or multiple guys. Never take back a girl who has gone to date other guys.

HI Jess, not sure if my situation is normal or not, but I fell in love with a lady at work and we had an affair for about six years, she walked away because she didn't think i would commit to her; fast forward 4 years and i send her a message to say goodbye (I'm trying to move on) and she says she wants to see me, so we meet up and i fall in love with her again ! (Important to know is that both of us are married ! ) She tells her husband and moves out, i don't say anything to my family as my eldest daughter is getting married and I don't want to ruin her day. Meanwhile we go to see her ex boyfriend in concert (he's a singer) and two days later she's texting him, 3 days later she starts an argument, then he invites us to stay at his house, she declines and then she tells him she is free (while I'm away ! ) and intimates that she has no objections to either him staying with her or her staying with him , it didn't happen, but she tried to set it up for the following week . I love her so much, but I don't think she would miss me if i died ! Help me, what should I do ?
