Hey, you can try re-installing windows 7/10. My brother recently ran into this issue on his laptop. No matter what we tried we ran into a bigger problem and after a while everything started pointing towards some corrupted files. So just took a deep breath and re-installed everything. It's fine now.

I have installed nowadays Da Vinci Resolve 16.2 on my computer.My computer run W10 version 1809 when I installed Da Vinci. Then, a new update(W10 version 1903 ) is installed to my computer After that, I uninstalled Da Vinci when my PC run version 1903. After this, I went back to previous version (W10 version 1809) from the menu>settings>updates. (I explained one by one what I did(what happened) on my computer.) Now my computer runs W10 1809. It is not installed Da Vinci Resolve program on my PC. Today, when I tried to install again from the Installation file of Da Vinci Resolve 16.2, I gave an error like this: ''A newer version Resolve is already installed, please uninstall it in Control Panel first. '' I tried to uninstall from the Control Panel, but it was not uninstalled from the Control panel.(Currently it is not installed on my computer but it appears in control panel.) It gave an error like that it can not found ResolveInstaller.msi Installation package. Please could you help me ? Will your suggestions which explained us in your video work? Will there be another problem or issue to my other programs or games?

The point of renaming is for reference for future user to understand what is that subfolder purpose.

i think he made a mistake cause you can see him typing msiexec at 4:05.Just change the name to command and then type msiexec etc in edit string.

That was very confusing. Creating a folder then renaming it "command" wasn't well explained.
