Seriously Hapax 2.0 is the greatest gift you have given the world! I have been playing with the beta for a few weeks and put out a few videos and I am ***AMAZED*** at all this awesome sequencer can do now and it has fully taken the place of my Pyramid in the studio with this epic update ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The step ahead from v1 is amazing... When I bough it with v1.12 (which was buggy as f**k) to this firmware... Hapax is the best HW sequencer, and this is the FW it deserves. Congratulations to Squarp's team and all the guys that helped through the beta process!
Thanks for the update! Export/import is a huge upgrade. Can’t wait to load it up. I would love to see you add a variety of click tracks/ metronome options. Like those used for singers that are below the vocal range of the human voice, so if the mic is eq’d properly it won’t pick up the click track.
@@Redneck_Wizardi think it's just me and you that prolly hate using fucking computers for music... kids these days turning their farts into basslines... the pendulum hasta swing the other way real soon, right?
Will you guys ever do tutorial videos on hermod+? I have been using it for a few weeks now but im sure theres tons in here im not utilizing. Would be nice to do the same as you did with the original. Thanks.
Amazing. I just really wish you guys would have included way more cv/gate ins and outs for proper modular control, or at least integrated interfacing capabilities with the Hermod+ to make them act together as one unit. Hopefully in a future update? :)
If tracks are armed for recording and set up to loop / overdub type record, will the track record state remain active in pattern mode when running through sections/scenes pre set up? Asking because would like a rough structure for live looping prearranged but with several instruments in record mode. This way the patterns could be recorded at any point and later muted and unmuted in sections of the song.
This looks great! Any chance we can get a way to quickly duplicate the current pattern from live or step view? This is a good way to maintain flow when building up patterns
Actually it has a generate midi fx, also euklid which generates upon the midi notes enterd additional notes, it has random note selection, LFO for the FX, once you start using it, its like abelton with its midi fx, als has random probability either depending on the velocity, or not - just how you set it up, it has also math modes, where you could play a step or not like the elektrons have it. I was on the fence for a while before i bought it, because i thought it would be also a lot cheaper to buy the oxi, but after diggin in the manual, and playing around with it for a few days, there is not much i miss - i played years with Elektrons Sequencer, and this is a lot more comfortable than the Octatrack - its actually capable to capture, and generate full songs easy and fast. If your intention is to play a live set for hours, there is nothing better than this. If you just want to sequence individual tracks, or do shorter live sets, the oxi can work for sure too. But on the hapax, its capable to write 64 automation lanes, like you would do it in abelton - and you can put it in snapshot mode to override the current config - change everything, and get back to normal as you would on the Elektron sequencer. Also you can set it up as midi controller, host an additonal external usb midi controller, remap the messages, reroute the midi etc - for midi its like a DAW, has latency compensation, clock sync , CV - its just great- i should have bought it as they put it out. Only regret is not getting it sooner. I tried MPC´s aswell, but its not as direct in the input - here everything is easy accessible - ideal for a device where you want to play live along with your other gear. For me its a 10/10.
A $1200 sequencer and still doesn't have a linear arranger. Yamaha was doing 16 track linear arrangers with the QY series in the *1990s*. You can buy one used for $300 This basically useless for anything other than EDM.

Awesome, that quick step length by holding a step and selecting another is so helpful!
please consider making the Pyramid firmware open source if you don't intend to update it anymore ;)
Great update! I can’t wait to show off what I’ve been working on with this. Coming from the Circuit Tracks my mind has been blown.

You guys made some really good music for this update demo lol
Wow! Loving all of these, especially mixmute and 16 patterns per track

Ughhhh you guysss are spoiling us!!! FOLLOW ACTIONS!?!? WITH PROBABILITY!?! 🧑🚒🔥🧑🚒🔥🧑🚒🔥🧑🚒🔥🧑🚒🔥
Wow, there were several moments when I said "FINALLY!". Awesome
update 😍 Can I also launch a pattern via MIDI now?
Proper upgrade, thank you Squarp!!!
i could see yall making a companion hardware multitracker DAW to go with this.
I've been waiting for a true hardware daw for years and I think it's ridiculous that no company has made one yet.

damn i love the size of the screens on this thing also the midi sequencer they fit in the screen wish the Roland SP404 did that...
So cool. Im so torn between the hapax, oxi one, and the torso t-1
Superbe travail. Le suivi de se produit est exemplaire !

Great update. I was waiting for a fix with jitter and midi latency problems when syncing hapax to ableton (daw). Has it been fixed ?

echo is an awesome effect
Excellent additions.
Great update!🎉
The Best!
Ben c'est pas trop tôt pour le Midi File Import, je vais enfin pouvoir ranger mon Pyramid...
Interessant
🖖

Oh yeah
Great update for an awesome machine !
Thanx Squarp, vive Hapax.
Yes yes yes!!!
❤❤❤
Genius
👏
import!!!!! thank u
Trop bon ....
hepax have sounds inside ? like drums and stuff or i need to send from keys or wav's ?
Hey, Hapax is a sequencer, there is no sound engine inside !
!!!!
Still no generative features?
Get an oxi one for that, the new matriceal mode and the improved stochastic one are just amazing!

Ok, how about hapax but built in sounds, battery, speaker, basically a daw in a box
