Although forza did improve their models substantially, Gt is still insanely more detailed. Forza is a racing game. Gt is a love letter 💌 for car enthusiasts.

Incredible is the moment when GT7 comes into the picture (great comparison video by the way) and makes FM8 look like a mobile game. As for Chris Esaki, I hope he never has anything to do with game development again. The statements he made show that he has absolutely no decency or conscience.

This is the difference between farming out your 3D modeling to an Eastern Block country for pennies on the dollar , and a dedicated designer for every vehicle who gets hands on with their source material, examines it carefully, and captures it in every detail, like an artist painting the picture of a beautiful woman.
Forza will always be a game about cars, while Gran Turismo is a love letter to the art and passion of the automobile.
I didn't set high expectation on FM but still bloody disappointed.
GT7 car model is the same In-game and showroom details. Unlike Forza car details and showroom are two different model.
If this is the future of gaming, I rather stay in the past.

Im not one to complain about graphics but the graphics in fm are awful. Even if you ignore the graphics fm is still an awful game.
FM still has bugged default settings for brightness and HDR settings. Once turned down to proper levels. It looks rather beautiful. GT looks sharp as hell tho. Both games are great.

The GT7 footage of the McLaren looks to have ray-tracing even though GT7 doesn't have any ray-tracing during gameplay. Is this from replay footage? Is there in-game footage of GT7 for comparison? Or does photo mode in-game turn on raytracing?
Yes, in replay photo mode. You can turn on/off ray trace.

So, I've been on board with Forza since FM1. Left GT behind and never looked back. That being said, FM23 is a joke. Its absolutely terrible. Sound, visuals, track/car selection all horrible. The car points and leveling system, GARBAGE. Turn 10 messed this up big time and the majority of the fanbase are straight up disappointed. They failed this time and they know it. That being said, im still not going back to GT. Ill wait until they fix this trash heap.
If you do just drive and not look so closely at the cars, the ray tracing, full reflections, RTAO is alright at least. Add that to the non grinding psychology I still play forza. Gt7 does have reflections that update at 3 or 5 fps that is jarring on the hood of the car. Neither is perfect. For my needs I agree I just play forza on my RTX3080. I had GT1 and GT3 and I liked those games as well. I have GT7 after getting the LFA I stopped playing it I find GT7 a grind feast and a car scapes game. Add that to having to get ps plus just to go online for one game it’s hard to get invested. Xbox at least has game pass ultimate
I tried forza and finished one race and that's it 😂never touched it again and said to my son you can have that crap.He is now play gt7 every day in VR😂

Not detailed enough. only the showroom car is okay but still not in the GT7 quality in terms of small details thant are low quality in Forza even with the latest patch.
