I have both, GT7 is better and it's not close.
Youre just wrong..
@@dusermiginte4647i really wish you fanboys would just stop denying it, if forza was better atm im pretty sure this guy would have no problem admitting it, the tracks and atmosphere looks amazing on forza, as far as some car sounds, other than that the game is awful especially the car models good lord they're terrible!
@@J.Gainez the cars looks good on the Series X man.
The sounds are better than they use to be.. Im enjoying the game very much..
@@dusermiginte4647 im absolutely more than happy you're enjoying it! honestly bro thats what its all about
Same here. 300h on GT7 and 40h on Forza. GT7 way better (I hoped we were getting FM4 quality this time). Low polygons models + unprecis physics
A few details caught my attention in rainy weather conditions. The rain droplets on GT7 seem to behave more realistically by moving upwards due to incoming wind, whereas in FM it seems somewhat static. Also I do like the water vapor trail in GT7 more, in FM it looks like the vapor is coming out of the trunk of the car as well?
Sound wise I prefer FM, in GT7 its a bit too muffled imo. FM has better sound details especially the transmission whine. I also love how FM shows each section name underneath, cool detail.
GT7 snow flakes on windshield😂. FM reflection on wet track😮
@@abuelb Not sure I got the first part of what you said, but when it comes to rain reflection it does look more detailed on FM thats for sure.
雨天视频中,极限竞速没有选择大雨或大雨
@@abuelb race tracks don't look like that when wet, GT7 is closer to reality. Just watch irl wet races and you'll see Forza exaggerates the reflection effect by a lot.
If tracks were so wet you could see the reflection of everything spread evenly throughout the tarmac it would impossible to race in such conditions
Why gt7 sound is muffled I think they trying to simulate wearing a helmet
I think that the cars look better in gt, but the tracks look far better in forza.
Sound in forza as well is better.
I’m surprised how some details in gt aren’t as good as forza, like tracks and sound.
Considering how long and painstaking they say it is to get everything right.
Inside the car I would say mostly gt is more detailed imo.
Tbh, both games look great, and it’s just certain things that each other do better than the other.
But, Forza are able to put out great driving games, while gt takes an absolute age for their games to be released.
I have a ps5, but if I ever got an X, I would def buy Forza.
And I might get gt someday.
Played both to compare for myself yesterday and the winner is easily GT7.
The cars are so stunning in GT7! So much detail. Colors are vibrant and the reflections are damn near photo realistic. FM colors are terrible. I know there is currently a bug where colors are washed out and blacks look grey but come on, there have been 8 iterations of Forza Motorsport and 5 iterations of Forza Horizon. There is no excuse for how terrible the colors are and how poor the cars appear in light. There is an obvious bloom in light that kills color and makes the cars look like plastic models.
Cars sound great in both games but I give the edge to GT7. The engine sounds are negligible for both games if you play in third person. Where GT7 shines is if you play in first person (cockpit view) the cars sound amazing and what impressed me more was if you drive a mid-engine car and wear headphones, the 3D audio sounds superb! You can hear the engine screaming right behind you as if you were in the car. This level of immersion is missing in Forza and thats a shame. Another thing that I found great was the sound shift when suddenly driving in a tunnel or under a bridge. GT7 just nails it.
Customization is negligible also between games but again I give the edge to GT7. Forza has more wheels to choose from but lack in every other category. Again, there have been 8 iterations of Forza Motorsport and 5 iterations of Forza Horizon and nothing has been added recently. You have the same aftermarket options to choose from as you do from Horizon 5. It blows my mind that Turn 10 havent added anything new. Same can be said about GT7 though but where GT7 shines is in the finer details like choosing different wheel sizes, width, and even offset. I dont know if I have to max a cars level in Forza but I do not see a way to choose wheel size. Im stuck with aftermarket wheels and stock wheel sizes. Wtf, happened there?? You could do that in Horizon 5 I think. Dunno why you cant in FM. There are a lo of little things like creating custom liveries for your suit and helmet and buying actual manufacturer paints by paint code in GT7 that take it to the next level.
Overall, both games are super fun. Driving mechanics feel great for both even on controller. Its a little easier to manage brakes and throttle control on the PS5 with the adaptive triggers but you can do the same on Xbox with a little bit of practice. Both are great but for me, imo GT7 is much better.
I refunded my copy of Forza - it simply is not optimized enough to pay full price for. Stuttering, graphics are terrible, crashes, steering is simply too understeery, etc. If the game would work, I'm sure it would be great, but as it is right now - Forza needs a lot of work.
disagree. I do not have such issues, game works great.
@@ledzhracingru Cool. Doesn't change the fact that this is a common issue among PC players. Enjoy.
Why don’t you just adjust the anti roll bars slightly to generate more mechanical grip? It really is as easy as that for most cars.
@@scotto132 well, it also doesn’t change the fact that some people aren’t running into issues

Idk how good of a comparison this is since you are comparing the Ultra RT settings on a PC to GT7 on a PS5.
Yeah and gt7 still looks better
Forza looks geeat and a lot of content but after playing ACC for a few months Im not really enjoying Forza anymore
Over 400 hours in ACC, but I prefer Forza by far...
@Leynad778 I been a casual forza player since the 3 (forza motorsports only) never play other racing game and yes I spend really great time and thousands of hours and all motorsports titles (3 to 7) but again ACC just feel better I know is a simulator but yeah feels great and great wheel support 😀
Also the online experience is great on ACC especially LFM
This time I just get the forza title for the nostalgia thing still missing forza 4 that one was my favorite of the saga
@@JorgeG-uw2wgWhatever you like, but GT3/GT4-driver Daniel Norad claims, the braking in ACC is a 1 out of 10 in terms of realism and iRacing is a 9. The braking in FM reminds me of iRacing...
I'm a huge Gran Turismo guy who happened to fall in love with Forza, unti I got into pc gaming. I prefer AC now because of endless possibilities
Cars in asetto slide too much, in forza its like in reality
Gran Turismo looked so bad in that rain compared to Forza. Looked almost like a PS3 game. Maybe they focused too much on the cars in GT and didn’t have enough power leftover for the track modeling. Forza got a good mix of the two with way better weather effects.
the hood on the viper in Forza is soo low quality, you pointy edges from the low quality model (most likely used from fm4)
Great video Michel & Henry. I always expected Forza to walk all over GT7 in graphics due to being the more recent title.
And gt being a cross Gen title gt8 is going to look mental being a ps5 only title
Forza is really a cross-gen title too since it needs to support the Xbox Series S.
@@SkunksterPlaysPoorly thats such an incorrect take, the series s uses the same cpu and gpu as its bigger brother just lower in cores and frequency, you get the full generation upgrade while the ps5 have scale to a ps4 hardwared a 2013 hardware!
1:56 The real Laguna Seca didn't have night light so on this point, even Forza have more detail on track, it''s less realist that GT7.
That sense of speed in FM is awesome.
Its probably mainly because of the focal length. I think GT7 focuses more on technicalities and responsiveness that they opted to use a more narrow field of view(longer focal length) and lower viewing angle. This narrower field of view and lower viewing angle helps maintain a view similar/closer to a cockpit view.
Wider field of view can also be great especially if you want a better sense of speed, I dont know why Gran Turismo didnt include that as an option.
The whole game is LIVE and dangerous, engines sound mad, cars going wild, feels real, while in GRAN TURISMO CARS are safely glued to the road, in Forza feels like they may tip over anytime
@@johndc7446 it's nothing to do with that, gran turismo was always a simulation meaning straight lines and perfectionism, Forza is more arcade so has unpredictable characteristics, chaos theory, while GT is just passing by slowly
@@Mr.Kumar1That GT7 cockpit camera movement is like a fake driving scene in a movie. Enough for me to stay away from the game. Simulation my arse.
GT has a more refined look - cleaner and less graphical glitches - and the car models are better. Replays in GT also a highlight. Forza brings nicer looking environments due to the additional decoration around the track etc. I'd also give sound to Forza but the collision effects are very poor.
As a PC user FM in its current state is not a AAA racing game I would consider buying. It has a lot of bugs missing textures on cars terrible unoptimised performance on PC and inconsistent graphical quality issues. The devs are going to need to get a few patches out for me to even consider paying $69 for an incomplete game but I guess that's the norm now a days sadly...
played a bit on PC last night so I can't compare fairly because I'm running a 4090, both games look stellar regardless
We, as the normal drivers, do we have any choice? No. Well, maybe if you are just in the decision to buy a console and make the racing game a decision point. Anybody else, depending what console you have, there is only one choice. ... Playstation - GT , XBox - FM
came here for the sound comparison. As expected, Forza has the advantage still
I kinda wanted Forza to do even better than it did to keep up with a healthy competition. FM doesn't really innovate anything special to the table.
I haven't bought forza yet I several of the old games I have grand turismo 7 , I the one thing I don't like about all forza games is how the car moves around while you are driving fish tailing often a 4 thousand pounds doesn't move around like that while you are driving, grand turismo the car is stable on the track like real life .
The car on GT feels very stiff and shows too many reflections on the bodywork to the point of dazzling your eyes. GT shows an environment that in my opinion is very static and with few details. I prefer FM for what it offers in this aspect. The asphalt on GT looks like a monochromatic strip with few shadows and reflections, on FM it appears more pleasant to look at, even in case of rain (although it exaggerates with the reflections, but after all it's a video game and that's fine).
Then if we were talking about "physics"... FM for consoles remains the game with the most pleasant pad experience (and I could also explain why, but this is not the place).
Cope
Wish the - break lights - where brighter.
One thing I want to mention is that in GT7 cockpit view during rain it basically sounds like the windows are open and it really kind of gets annoying after a short time. Presumably something you can change in the settings but I’m not sure. And maybe it’s just me
no you are right if the rain is strong enough, the rain effects are just really oversaturated atm, it wasnt always as extreme like it is now. But ppl love highly unrealistic cinemtaic effects, as long as they are unrealistic, bc Tyre smoke and rain spray was patched out bc all the kids in 3rd person couldnt see the target when they tried divebomb.
Although every Lobby all the time is with weather s01 anyway, but I guess they just had to take a fun away to aplease the mainstream.
Why is gt7 labeled 1440p on ps5? It’s native 4k
i'd say need for speed shift 2 still has the best car sounds and the best speed feeling
For me my first impressions of each title were...
GT7 - Wow incredible graphics, sounds and handling. Completely blew me away and still does. Lacking in some features and content at launch but got the core aspects right.
Forza - Very disappointed. Graphical glitches, low quality car models, terrible performance on PC, excellent sound and fun handling. Just didn't look like the marketing videos.
GT7 looks and appears to be more realistic from the videos, but I think they have different genres.
I can see so many Fanboys in the comment section 👀👀🤣🤣
I never played it but gt7 looks better. I am enjoying forza so far.
I think that Gt7 has more better cockpits and rain...i was shocked to see no wipers on in the rain with forza...is it manual? And the rain is WAY over exaggerated with forza.. the cars tires have more water coming from them than the actual track itself... and like all forzas the cars understeer around the corners.... always hated that, even cars that don't want to corner (American muscle cars) tend to corner more than the jdm cars lol
Have both games...Bought Forza Premium, but this game made just, turn my Ps5 on and play GT7 again😅
This comparison is not accurate because there is no lvl match. Well, we all know that in the world of sound, even a 0.5db difference can give the impression of a better sound.🙃
Forza has "no" sun reflections on liveries. That is bad.
Haha, I guess Forza said windshield wipers are overrated 😅
When a game built for a PS4 from 2013 is being compared to a title from a console released in 2020 you know Polyphony Digital are masters of their craft.
Rain from the cockpit in Forza doesn't make any sense, even without the wipers turned on you can still clearly see the road through the windshield.
Easy win for Gran Tourismo 7
GT has always had the same bland sound model with the same air sound that cuts in and out when on/off throttle. Cookie cutter game
雨天视频中,极限竞速没有选择大雨或大雨
Forza sound is better and graphic to but it seem to best little issue but remember the game got out today
Bruh sound better no i don’t think so
For me personally forza hands down has better racing phisics and thats all i care for i absolutely hate gt7's crash punt mechanics its so unrealistic and to arcade like forza's even tho still keeps the arcade like style but when you hit another car they dont propell do the barriers like a missile lol so far fm is by far the better of the 2.
Tbh tho not sure how long ill be playing fm because of acc its harder but far more rewarding and more fun especially on a dd wheel
GT7 PSVR2 💟
Absolutely. Giving it the beans at night, in the rain, on pit straight.
The interior of the car lights up around you as following cars' headlights almost blind you in the rear vision mirror.
And the wet-weather physics: steering clear of standing water, having to pick the dry line.
Simply sublime.
Im honest. These stupid flames from every car on Forza are hilarious 😂
How lucky are we to have 2 kickass console games like this
Games as a Service are the Kickass standard ? so yeah we are all lost...
I just love how both these games look great in there own way GT7 just gets the car detail on point while FM's tracks look amazing
We need a Gran Forzismo
I agree 👍 these games both nail every detail amazingly but do different things better so noticeably it makes you want to own them both, it's the first time I feel like unless you're being biased it's impossible to say which one is better, because they both do what you expect from this type of game so god damn amazingly it makes the minor things they do better hard to choose between.
@@Mr.Kumar1That would be a masterpiece lol. If turn 10 n polyphon for whatever reason decided to team up n create a racing game it would be out of this world for real. Forza does things gran Turismo wishes it could, gran Turismo does things Forza wishes it could. Combine the two = master piece
on xbox series S you cant even see the track 200m (in most cars you cant even read the instruments bc its so blurry) in front because of the extremely bad post processing, whereas gt7 even on base ps4 just is crisp.
Imo bc of bad shaders and post processing FM looks very disappointing atm.
Sadly they also took a lot of the accesabitly out of FM bc you have to configurate your control axises for hours before it feels good no matter if on wheel or controller, its just obvious that nobody has looked even once over this features before releasing it.
The Rain feature maybe looks better but is highly unrealistic and just a liniar loss in traction which is just flipped on and off on a certain point.
Motorsounds in Forza are actually pretty bad, on many Motors you can hear digital sound gradations which just dont exist in GT7, the sound effects (actually it is just one) though are better in FM (reverbiation when driving through tunnels or beside walls).
What FM really does do better are the diversity of Options, you can Adjust the HuD elements the way you want for example (just like in every race game these days) what gt7 just can't get right for whatever reason there is. Same goes for FoV and couple of Tuning Options (Tire Pressure, Brake Power e.g.)
Carreer is just the same in a different dress, same goes for the Grind and Money payout, there prices for all the cars nobody does ever drive are cheaper, but the payout per hour is also.
There also are already Paid DLC Cars in every Car Menu before Race, but strangely, no one here cries pay to win, probably because the competition here has not paid influencers for a porpaganda war....
@@oughtism22 lol yea man perfectly said they both do what the other wishes they could lol, grass is always greener on the other side 🤣😂
Uma coisa que vejo pouca gente falar é como o GT envolve a cultura automobilística, tem museu, carros lendários que existem, histórias, é tudo feito com muito amor.
One thing I see few people talk about is how GT involves automobile culture, it has a museum, legendary cars that exist, stories, it's all done with a lot of love.
IMHO the third person camera angle in GT7 is much better.
He used the high 3rd person camera, the low camera looks very similar to the gt7 camera angle. One thing I really don’t understand is why the camera is so static in gt7.
I have GT7, but Forza sounds are just amazing!!!
GT7 has much better and more realistic graphical fidelity. Forza Motorsport looks good but also bad and ugly sometimes. The lighting is so inconsistent and the fog affect is way overdone! I prefer GT7 but I'm stuck with FM.
This Just my own observation.
The track details on Forza is impressive,so much is going on, but it looks more Like what you expect in a Video game details. The Track has exaggerated reflection when wet.
GT7 has lesser details on track but i can sense a slight element of realism maybe its the lighting.
Hi, you are right GT7 has something very special in terms of realism. it's call SKYSIM. they have fully recreate sky and earth atmosphere. For daytime for exemple, the Sun is the ONLY source of light, then they analysed the process of the photons and how they trip to earth. For it they generate the ozone layer so the photons lost part of the ultraviolet color frequency. Since Skysim also generate the earth atmosphere, after the photon cross the ozone layer, they also change direction, diffraction and color frequency because earth atmosphere is composed of CO2, mini water drops, steam water, air molecules, aerosols, fog etc, and all of this is changing the comportment of the photons and so how the reflections, colors and general perception is done, especially considering it also process with the sun movements and it's orientation and elevation, all can makes a change from you point of view especially earth reflection to the sky is also considered by sky sim which makes the nice colors in the sky and stunning visual lights on the track and cars. But considering Skysim also generate all sort of clouds, with various shapes (cumulus etc..) density and size, which also affects the photons and create those nice morning rays in the sky, depending air humidity, and temperature (yes they also generate temperature to affect clouds, and tracks) including the wind generation that can move and bring life to the sky, when it start raining, it could actually rain on a part of the track but not yet on the other part, like in reality. Well there are so many things to talk about Skysim (night light done by the moon, real cosmos and stars positions changing during the race according timelapse, etc..) including how the curvature of the earth affect also all the lights. I have put my hands on a 268 pages document from the authors of GT7's SKYDOME (which include Skysim, Physics of Sky and Real Earth Atmosphere). I understand more why GT7 looks more realistic and all other games including Forza looks more cartoonish and video game).
Better car models too in gt
Physic in gt7 are better that's why
GT looks more realistic, forza looks more vibrant
Complete opposite. FM is more realistic. Just look at the reflection on wet surface track. Look at the natural colors of the environment. Look at the live footage cam replays.😂
It's exactly the other way around.
I was going to say the complete opposite. The colours in GT7 are deliberately oversaturated which is generally what people prefer (Phone companies adopt oversaturated photo processing for that very reason) GT7 looks prettier but you always know it's a game you're looking at. Forza looks far more real, but as a result, is less aesthetically pleasing to look at. I know which I prefer, but everyone is different and that's fine!
The cars look more like the real thing in gt7
Look at 6:20 at the hood of the viper on Forza
Forza looks great, but GT7 just looks brilliant and have much more to offer.
Which is infected with the horrible penalty system.
to manipulate you into spending more money on the game, its disgusting, to even begin to support a company that makes their cash shop worse than free 2 play racing games from EA.
@@TheGoreforcegran turismo is by far a better product
Does it.. try FM and see why its the beat...
that manipulates it's users, for more money, and has worse graphics, by just a little bit, only because they look so similar, the lighting is hands down better. Of course the car selection and the multiplayer is better, but we don't have to worry about having a bogus cash shop that no one should ever support.@@abcdefgh-hy9op
the light cone is illuminating also more of the environment in GT7 compared to Forzas nightdriving, which reall adds to this endurance race feel. Forzas lightcone semms to shine only on the track surface and even there its quite short.
Forza is using ray tracing Vs the path tracing of the PS5 the Ray tracing is a more realist depiction of light and the way it illuminates the scene...
@@gamersplaygroundliquidm3th526what are you talking about? neither forza nor gran turismo have raytraced global illumination (let alone path tracing lmfao), the only raytracing forza uses is raytraced ambient occlusion and reflections, it has nothing to to with the lighting of the game.
@@gamersplaygroundliquidm3th526 the problem here is that he is comparing gt7 replay that uses ray tracing but does not do it ingame to forza that does it in performance rt mode but doesn't change quality in replays.
In GT7, the headlights in night racing casting shadows of the cars in front on the track walls looks absolutely amazing.
@@GTRyan35 the new engine's capabilities are vastly superior to what FM7 was built on and I have no doubt that when they get the graphics bugs fixed that are causing an array of unintended issues the lights and shadows will be just as glorious as you would like. what are u running your settings at?
the cars in Forza look so bad.. it looks like Forza 6 on xbox one.. sucks :/
Pretty sure forza uses fake car sounds. Drove cars in forza that I have in real life and it sounds nothing like the real life version of the cars. Gt7 is more accurate with the sounds
One thing the video mentioned in passing but should've emphasised more was the effect in the handling during wet conditions. Different parts of the tracks have different levels of grip depending on where the water tends to accumulate. Aquaplaning is factored in GT7, whereas in Forza, the entire track has the same level of wetness. The puddles are only meant to showcase the RT in effect, but has no bearing with the physics. Moreover, when the track dries in GT7, the areas where the cars pass through dry up first, and the difference in grip becomes even more pronounced. It makes the timing of switching to slicks even more important.
This 100%
Great point. The first time racing in the rain in FM8, I immediately drove with a bit more caution and I looking for the dry parts of the track from all the the racing in the rain in GT7. But yeah I agree there's no affect from the wet track like you have in GT7 and I just ended driving with no caution. It looked great but there's was no affect.
i think a similar wet track system was implemented in Project cars 2 too. not sure about Forza since it could change in the future.
@@ionlywatch forza had in fm7, i am playing fm8 but have to take a look on it.
FM7 definitely had hydroplaining as does FH5. Not sure why it didn't make it to the new FM....maybe they haven't figured out that part of the physics engine yet and hopefully patch it in later
In my opinion GT7 graphics and game mechanics are better than Forza Motorsport but I believe this is a big win for PC and sim racing community. GT7 is great but its only exclusive to Playstation and currently there are no other good alternative games that have similar gameplay to GT7.
Assetto corsa games, iracing, and other sim racing games are too focused on simulation and this leaves out a lot of players that play on keyboards and controller; while other games are too arcady that it leaves out the technicality of the gameplay mechanics. Forza Motorsport is the best GT7 alternative currently available and its a great game that has lots of potential both in graphics and also game mechanics.

Tried gt7 only once with a friend's PlayStation so I'm not gonna compare the two games, but i can say that fm8 is not arcade, you can't compare it with nfs... it still is a simcade
GT7 is Japanese and FM is American.
FM is like “bigger is better”, light and tracks have an amazing quality overall, but when you go to GT7, is all on details. Attention to detail and finesse.
So true
Not with the physics. Motorsport took that this time.
@@richpoor146 🤣It really didnt. Played it and it feels floaty

@kxnfuzed2582 gt is more floaty.. like it's on skates or casters .. very odd movment and not realistic like forza..nice try
Both are great but forza is best on pc for graphics and playing with a wheel. No pc option on GT.
IMO GT7 have more realistic colors and better feel on the track. FM colors look a bit cartoonish. When it comes to lightning, texture, sound, weather effects, tuning, vehicle customization FM have the edge. But there is a lot more for these games than just looks. They are both fantastic, there are things to love and hate from both games. I enjoyed GT 7 for over a year unfortunately GT lack of content have kept the game in a stuck situation, there are no reasons to grind the game. Now, I’m enjoying FM I really love that it gives the player reason to play the game.
I don’t know if he’s on a monitor to tv etc but on my CX oled GT7 can’t do 10bit HDR in 4k 120hz ( u need 10 but for true HDR). GT7 looks washed compared to Forza
They both have their ups and downs, Forza looks alot better in wet conditions, but GT has better clouds formations, i do agree though, Forza does have some quirky textures going on, but then so does GT, lets not forget, Forzas being out a week, GT's being out over a year, so has had plenty of time to fix things
Great comparisons! Even though I'm a fan of the new FM, GT clearly looks more realistic in my eyes. More sharp and crisp as well which I prefer over the softer look of Forza. Also Forza is way too dark at night imo. It's not as noticeable in a replay but it is pretty damn dark when actually racing. It's compounded by the windshield reflection and both together is a bit too much.
GT7 is also on PS4 and it shows. Compared to Forza it looks like a last gen game.
Both got their pros and cons, I really wish GT7 would be release on PC. The best is to own both.
It won't and your comment is a cope

Please use near chase cam on forza. Dont understand why you use far chasecam for comparison video.
I don't know if i see the value in forza right now. Sure the car list is bigger but really that's about it. I enjoy the more oversteer friendly physics of Forza occasionally, looks like horizon will have to do the trick till this game gets cheaper.
It's free on gamepass
Game pass ftw
Gt7 have better car models they look much closer to photorealistic, forza even uses some really bad car models that brings down the game a lot, their is no doubts that forza has the advantage with track and enviroment detail, but they cant match gt7 car detail, 1 year ago many would think it would a much bigger difference, but graphics are quite close, soundwise their is no winner, some goes to fm some to gt7, the time when forza was a head in car sounds is no longer a thing, was strange is that gt has evolved here forza had better sounds back in fm4, after fm6 they have been a hit or miss, fm7 was bad for car sounds, fh5 did good in the sound department through, forza mostly have better sounds in chase cam and gt7 has better in interior view,
I overall prefer gt7, becouse they put much more love into the cars, i dont care that much for enviroments detail, one real big advantage for gt7 is vr support, witch is so immersive
Both games look fine though I've heard both have problems. I do hope that despite Horizons having its own level of fun and enjoyment we continue to see more regular Forza titles
Graphical and bla bla bla... This is what Motorsport can only offer... Graphically better but not at all. GT7 sells far better racing experience from the track feeling, weather management up to car handling and look more friendly for AC, ACC players than Motorsport which failed totally.
Forza doesnt even turn on your windshield wipers in the rain and the hell is the point of having raindrops all over the chase cam?
Both programmes are a game! They did it mainly to have fun, nothing else matters! Graphics are good, but the sounds are weird in both games! And some Forza carmodel is outdated, not new or remodelled.
Yeah. Just love FM with cars in cockpit having no back!!! You think i joking? Check it. The mirror inside. Its always show clear view, even when the back of the car would block a part of it. Aw, and don't forget to look back, you'll see nothing. in GT7? You see partially blocked view in mirrors as it is, and if you look back, you really see the car's back inside. this is just 1 of the hundreds of details and parts is better in GT7, i say this one, because everyone forget to mentions this difference. Honestly, i just want a Forza 3-4 remastered, that would be a big opponent for GT7. But FM? Only good for joking on it. 😢
Forza looks good 80% of the time. Something is off with the lighting. In car views show how light hits the top of roll cages INSIDE the cars and looks awful. Replay glitches on this single threaded effort from Turn 10 include missing textures...missing track and a slew of others. Considering Forza was "built from the ground up" for Series consoles it's not really that great an achievement. GT7 looks as good as it does on PS5 and is also cross gen AND has excellent VR as well which is sublime when it comes to lighting and immersion.
Both are amazing games. I enjoyed GT7. Loving Forza now and bought a G920 wheel for forza last night. I gotbthe bugnto pock up wheel again, havent had one since the 360. Im hoping that Forza 7 plan to be a live service game makes it the right xhoice for the console I got my wheel on. I also hope we get a 120hz mode.
I have both games and am a PC gamer. For me, Forza Motorsports 8 is much better than GT7. But the other PC-only sims are better than both. ^^
gt7 is native 4k60 not 1440p 60
120hz tv, gt7 at frame rate 120fps mode is 1260p and resolution mode is 1440p 120fps vrr
at 60hz tv at frame rate is 4k 60 and resolution is 4k 60 gameplay and 4k30 for replays raytracing
I own a Xbox and luckily with Game pass its a free to play title, game was released but needs serious bug fixes and crashes often. Not sure whats happening but I have played all the Forza titles from Forza 2 and stopped playing at 6, the released a seriously incomplete game and I personally will start playing wants bug patches have been done.
That's explains why in GT7 it looks like your steering the scenery not the car 😂 FM is not without issues, waiting around for races, random crashes, and I don't mean on the track. Adding a paint job or a tune regularly dashboards me. Fm is better than last year the feeling of control is better you can recover in corners and you feel and hear when your losing grip. Both games engines look good. The penalty system need work. I get a car pushed in front of me sideways I can't stop but get a 5 second penalty that destroys my race.....or an idiot jumps up the inside of a corner over half the car is on the grass and uses you as a break again I get a penalty. 😢
Amazing how two racing giants in the racing game genre failed on both ends. Gt being to grindy and stiff gameplay. Forza with lack of customization and grapical issues. Instead of going back to their roots of the originals that the fans loved. They jusy shell out experimental headaches. Why can't we just get a happy medium with the career progression systems. and stop the rolling start! even in practice mode on fm its annoying. I have to figure out what gear I need to put it in and then slam into a wall because there was no time for me to set my wheel..
I think we're at the point where forza and gt are on par with eachother visually. Simply because series x and ps5 are nearly equal in power.
The brain of those who make these comparisons doesn't even weigh 100 grams. because there is no comparison for a game released 1 year and 6 months ago with one released 1 week ago. In a year and six months you have plenty of time to fix bugs and problems. What's going through your head!?
Any one that says Forza looks better got some serious Green tinted glasses on 😂. Gt7 car models are insanely good. Lighting and gloss on the cars looks top notch.
What are you talking about?cars look so unreal in gt7. They shine like they are mirrors or something. It is a pitty cause I used to love gt games back in the day but the last ones are really crappy games and that’s why they flopped in comparison with the oldest titles
You're clearly deluded if you think GT7 looks better here. GT7 has much better detailed cars, but Forza is arguably better in lighting, physics, and sound.
Cars never look like they have lipstick applied in real life. GT7 looks cartoonish compared to Forza.
GT7 tinted graphics. Take that shade of maybe you can see outside.😂
Gt7 has by far better car models than fm, sounds is not better in fm either specially not in interior view
@1min Clearly Forza has way better realistic light on a clear day, although not bright enough :) Gran Turismo landscape just looks dead.
Personally I think GT7 looks better overall. GT7 has better skyboxes, interiors, car lighting whilst Forza has better track / trackside details.
Car handling physics are numbee one to me over graphics or gimmicks. Gt7 though not hard-core pc sims level, seems to offer a more believable experience.
forza looks cute , but gran turismo looks stupidly out of this world. let's only bring back the menu music from gt sport and its a perfect game i hate the menu music in gt7 compared to gt sport.
Is it just me or do the GT graphics in the replay segment look like something rendered on a PS2? the lighting or contrast or something is making it look like clay at certain points. the timestamp and pause I first noticed it was 4:22
I do appreciate in certain aspects Forza’s sound is a bit fuller. Imo though is GT7 has far superior car models and looks better in most aspects
ALWAYS use "Wobble Cam 2" when driving in cockpit in GT7. Gives neck and physics movement to the drivers head that makes a substantial difference! Both look good, Forza still needs to work on paint though.
@7:04 is a good demonstration of how they kind of fumble how light interacts with glossy surfaces at an extreme angle.
Overall FM8 is leagues beyond where FM7 was, and I'm excited to see how they tweak it with updates.
I played forza 7 a couple months ago through the entire career. I think it looks better than gt7 and forza 8 in its overall visuals.
Forza looks so flat in some cases and so reflective on the others it doesn't have gt consistency and gt 7 has better lighting and car models and the car colors are rendered accurately i think that gt 7 does everything better than forza it's more polished more premium product
Inless sony release gt on pc i will never look at it.
Forza is my chill/not serious race game with the proper race sims when i want to go sweaty try hard.
I would very much like gt to drop on pc for me to try (maybe bloodborn while your at it?)
The more i watch GT7 footage now, the more I cant help but notice that the cars look really weird as they move around the track, they almost seem to slide around corners than drive around them, like the car is on casters, not wheels. There is no doubting that forza has bought its A game this time in regards to graphics, although unfortunately not without some issues, some of them big, like the low poly cars in some cases or the glitchy headlights on the road which is really off putting. biggest issue for me though is the ridiculously low laps required on races in career mode, 3 practice laps is fine by me, i tend to do more to lvl up my car, but then only 6 laps in the race seems daft? why not have an option to do a short medium or long versions of the race.
That's my biggest gripe with GT, I usually keep the camera on the cockpit view because of this.
stiff camere is more precise for me at least
I think the graphics in gt7 are a bit better more solid and immersive forza doesnt look bad but its just not quit there yet but thays just mo
GT7 has the edge in car models, Forza has the edge in tracks and weather effects. GT7's weather effects are a joke.
Gt seems stale and flat.. odd the tracks move and the cars dont.. looks more fake. Also the cars are always clean in gt .. each lap is pretty much the same too ..very odd
Gt7 has gone for the releastic look forza is a mixture of releastic and arcade to me for me gt also look more sharper and the colours are better and forza can't compete on the car models with gt
Forza has better side track graphics but that's it. Forza has reused too many assets from older games, and graphics are imbearisingly bad in track surface textures, interiors, interior lighting, most car models look like there made of plastic, rims at the store, car livery selection looks the worst like ps3 level. I'm hoping for some patches will be coming latter on to fix these issues as they clearly rush forza out the door.
