I loved season 2. It feels so different from the other seasons. It feels beautiful.
I think the reason it feels different is sort of because they got different show runners with different ideas which is what made season 3 different and then season 4 to now with Scott gimple. Also it just seems like a whole different world and it just doesn't feel like the characters now are the same characters from this season. Season 2 is probably my all time favorite and it always will be
gilki[] season two was the best it was real feels like could be us today
Thank u for saying that
Right Season 2 is the most iconic and classic
@@noahwright2810it’s my all time favorite or 3. I love every scene with Rick after he loses Lori and kills Shane
I've always felt that the walker staggering alone in the field kind of symbolises the way Shane feels. He became more and more withdrawn from the group to the point where he wanted to leave and he became detached from Rick as a friend and Lori. Like the walker in the field, Shane from that moment on was/felt completely alone.
Holy Hell! Maggie like Rick is also from the other side of the pond..they are so good at hiding their accents.
So is Morgan's actor
Lauren Cohan was actually born in the US and moved to England when she was 14
Lenny James. Andrew Lincoln. Two of the best they had. Both British
I miss all those characters. Shane, Dale, Lori, Andrea, Beth, Carl, Merle, Herschel, Abraham, Glen etc. They were all great on there own way. We knew so much about them. We have now many characters that we don't even care, when they die we are all like "ok fine, who cares?"
I've never agreed with Lori more on anything than when it came to Beth's contemplation of suicide.
nope Lori really did not have a clue...1st Shane then Rick sheltered her from how bad things were....
+Mad Max Rockatansky but at least Andrea was somewhat useful...Lori was complete dead weight
Ashen-Phoenix me too
@V-Rex Right, I don't ever condone it but if you really gotta go, don't make yourself another walker that people have to risk to kill.
In this episode Shane should have been left in the bus and they don't see him till like late season 3 when Rick finally meets Shane at Woodbury.
that would of been awesome
Had this same thought. I think shane should have had his on story a lone wolf kinda of deal
yea, I would just be happy to see shane again
+XeroEntertainment It would have been more interesting if Shane was alive and found and made his on group or better be a lone wolf like Duke Critters side, in fact it would have been better if Shane not only found them again but, be a future antagonists.
+XeroEntertainment OR they find shane at wood bury working with the govner (isn't that his name)
I actually respect Shane, he saved Rick so many times and the new world changed him, i think about the man before the plague :)
That shout at 4:26 is simply one of the most awesome shouts I've ever heard.
zombies always sound like they have asthma
lol
At 6:00 Shane's face LOL
The best scene in this episode for me is when rick is talking to Shane on the road and Shane won't look at him, he tries his best but he know that rick is the alpha and he doesn't look him in the eye
I'm glad that Lori Whori died... if she died along time ago, Shane and Rick would still be brothers in season 3 and on...
@NeonGreenHair I think the lone zombie represents a parallel to Shane, who felt and still feels alone in every way possible. He's breaking away from the group, little by little. He too is "walking alone."
3:50 - 3:57 see maggies face while she talks how her expressions change. its becuz the camera men were probly screaming at her
I just realized, those guards that Rick was staring at weren't bitten either but turned anyway. But then again, there was no way of knowing that people could die and turn without being bitten until Glenn and Daryl examined Randall's body. Only then, the questions started flooding in about how did they turn.
rick is definitively the best character, he was the first character introduced, he has survived through so much, i hope that when the series ends that6 he survived with at least carl and the baby, lori would be good too but i could live without her surviving
This episode really hurt me. To see these two people fighting who were once close and relied on one another. It's sad...
My personal favorite episode of the entire show
OMG WHEN SHANE THROW THE HAMMER THAT CGI THOUGH
+strawberry queen he actually did throw the hammer; they just sped up the impact of it hitting the window
What?? You don't miss me, but you miss my brother John Bernthal.
shane and daryl are by far the most interesting characters in the series so far.
I loved this episodes fight scene. It really illustrated the difference between Shane and Rick. Shanes an impulsive brawler. He relies on aggression and strength. Where as Rick is smart he can think fast and he has actual skill as a fighter. And even though Shane is bigger and stronger Rick still kicks his ass.
I'm so going to miss him. And I'm going to miss... I forget his name, the old guy who was suspicious of Shane. He was awesome as well.
5:56 "He came back for me!"
God, do I feel you. Shane was an asshole, but I have it on good authority that Jon Bernthal's a pretty nice guy.
5:59 the way I feel when the bell rings to get out of school. Run like Hell!!! xD
Shane could have become something we’ve never seen before. He’s still my favorite character.
This is the one episode where I'm like: "Wow, Lori did something right."
Wye Oak - Civilian!
Shane was the best character of Season 2. I agree. Daryl was the character of season 3. He was the strongest character and definitely the most complex.
Awwwwwwwh poor Shane D:
i always took that scene as shane looking at himself through the glass and thinking 2 himself id be better off alone than suffering with people i h8/love/need protection etc...he kinda saw himself as a zombie....something that still has a purpose (feeding) and doesnt need anyone just a purpose and need/want in LIFE :)
This episode was one of the most awesome of the series so far !
Shane was the best. I loved his attitude.
This episode has one of the best endings ever
Lol, Pause at 4:27, Shane looks like a walker.
" watch my hands,....nice and easy" and he pulled a knife out and stab him. lol XD
I liked Shane (for the most part) in Season 1. I wish he could have put his head on straight and got along with everyone. Besides his insanity, he was a great asset to the group. If he were still alive now in Season 3, the show would be that much better.
R.I.P.Shane? Yea I know it's fiction but 18 miles out changes everything.
Seasons 1 and 2 feel like a time capsule, Andrea's smartness and character was so on point to her comic counterpart and then by season 3 the writers just fucked her character up completely.
5:36 - great metaphor of Shane and Rick's relationship.
One of the best episodes of season 2.
He stabbed him, he didn't shoot him.
The look Rick gives Shane when he leaves him in the bus is like "Throw a punch at me, you fuck!"
I don't miss Shane, but I miss the actor who plays Shane! :D
The most awful character is lori
+TheBingleyp naw Beth is imo
+TheBingleyp In season 2, yes. Season 3, no.
have you met Negan yet? lol
BAWOG nah it was 1000000% shane
Rick = good morals.
Shane = survival.
I would like to keep my good morals but when push comes to shove in a Walker invasion...survival doesn't sound so bad ahaha
i think keeping shane alive wouldve made things more interesting
Urg I miss Shane/Jon
I don't understand the significance of when Shane sees the walker in the field while they're driving and doesn't say anything. At the end of the episode when he sees it again and doesn't say anything, is that supposed to mean that after what they just went through, he still hasn't changed?
When Shane was like Rick....Rick come back I wanted to cry.
But then he became a bigger ass.
Wow Maggie's voice was SO different then what i expected!
he doesnt look like him but he is devious like him.
for like a week? we have no idea how long rick was out, but it was waaaay more than a week.
You should miss Shane.. hes the bauss
The true leader of the pack
Honestly Rick and Lori needed to find a house with a large yard, secure it. And call it a day. Everyone else should have left them.
@MrsSmillas episodes are filmed waaay before these commentarys are added i dont know why the are wearing their costums but, the whole 2nd season was probably done being filmed before s2e8 even aired
I felt awful for Shane when he thought he was left behind in that bus. Damn.
that part were shane throws that thing through the windoiw and a walkers hand comes into view
me: nice goin genius
I'm totally in love with Andrea now though. I mean I hated her character for the longest time, and her almost shooting and killing Darryl didn't help. But then I realized something that I had forgotten. She's the smokin' hot babe that plays the cop chick in Silent Hill! I can never be mad at her from now on!
Thats what I'm saying all the time. Thanks for bringing it to the point on this video, thanks man. (:
best episode of the season so far :)
U will be missed Shane
I agree. I'm looking forward to the next season where Rick have to do all the thinking and decisions since Hershel and Daryl seem to not say anything and just wait for whatever Rick's decision would be.
4:29 Shane looks like a walker
9 years ago what😭😭
Sucks that they did no interviews with Michael on set
2:46 That doesn't exactly apply during a zombie apocalypse. I don't know if it's just poor writing, but a lot of people in this show act as if it's still pre-apocalypse. Granted, there will always be war between countries, but when you throw something like the "zombie" apocalypse into it, it adds something new, and an event like that would certainly change everyday people. In 'Walking Dead', most characters are retarded, which is why I like Shane; they actually put effort into him.
@KierTanaka Wasn't a school. It was a National Guard Outpost.
Yeah right Shane! Keep telling yourself that!
Shane was the best character in season 2. I know a lot of people say Daryl was but I thought Shane was better
Im addicted to the glamour ads.. ._.
Lori: Beth is younger, and I have a sense of responsibility about her.
…give her knife, leaves her alone, forgets about Corl.
aww little boy having temptrum tamtrum
Shane was not wrong tho. Rick realised later season
4 days till season 4 YYAYAYYY
Maggie and Andrea don't. That's actually an argument Andrea and Lori get into.
(Spoiler)
Shane turns later in Season 2, he frees the outsider (The boy) and leads him to the forest, telling him he wants to join his group. Once he was far enough from the camp he snapped the boy's neck and told the others that the boy punched him in the face and took his gun, using the blood he had from hurting himself as a excuse. He and Rick walk further away from the camp searching for the boy, but Shane wanted to kill Rick, what Rick already knew. Rick shot him and he turned after death.
I do hope Shane can redeam himself.
You do know they are already ALL infected? It's natural, it's already in them when they get born. On the last episode of the second season Rick says Dr. Jenner had told him that and asked him to keep it secret.
Maybe because he was a good guy who made some bad calls?
For some reason I couldn't help feeling bad for Shane at 5:15 :(
One of the best episodes of season 2
the character "the governor" has been confirmed for the third season. Any fans of the comic book series of the walking dead know that this is a really bad thing for the group.
Save the Last One, 18 Miles Out, Better Angels and Beside the Dying Fire have been the best episodes of this series besides the pilot imo. Some of the episodes for season 2 weren't so great, but some of these were just amazing.
I wished they met Governor in this episode
@NeonGreenHair I think it symbolizes how Shane felt at the time - like he was alone.
I still think this whole zombie invasion wouldn't have happened if carl stayed in the HOUSE.
@Gnarkill60 So is Maggie, Morgan, and the actor who is going to play the Governor.
No, no, I meant like, Rick first stabbed him, after that Shane turned and then Carl shot him, but since Carl's Rick's son I just include him with 'Rick'.
I think Andrea seems to become more like Shane. Like Shane, she would take the risks to save the others even if they both know what consequences it might bring.
Hey does anyone know the name of the song at the end of this episode?
Oh and why did he do that? :o (it's so funny that I'm having a conversation with a dead character from the best tv series ever :D )
no one he did on a American TV show, im from the UK so i dont know the name of it but its like a morning show or somthing.
How did Randall know about him being in Maggie's farm?
shane whooped ricks ass with one elbow
Lol, kenny (bad side) is like rick
and lee is shane (bad side)
I Miss Shane
I missed It last Sunday I'm not missing it or the new one this weekend!!!
How come Shane has hair in the behind the scenes at 0.37 but in the show he doesnt havehair?
