The 2024 KTM 450SXF Factory Edition is officially here and it comes with an updated frame, updated linkage and suspension settings, updated swingers and chain slider, new shrouds, and a new connectivity unit that allows you to connect your smartphone to the bike via WiFi to change ECU map settings. This bike is a preview of what's to come on the 2025 KTM 450SXF model. With the new unit, you can increase or decrease engine braking, throttle response and traction control. Plus, thanks to a partnership with LitPro, you can track your lap times, segment times, G-forces sustained, average speed and much more. Plus, you can monitor gear position and rpm around the track as well. Plus, the Factory Edition comes with Dunlop MX34 tires, Akrapovic muffler, skid plate, WP start device, split triple clamps, factory power parts wheels and more. In this video, Josh Mosiman shares what we've learned from riding the pre-production bike in Austria and our first impressions from riding today.

So, the 2024 factory edition has the 2022 frame.😄
I have 2, 2022 Austrian bikes. After riding friends 23 yzf250, whose suspension is setup for person 30lbs heavier than me. Night and day difference between the suspension, kyb is much better.

I mean the yz250 has used the same chassis since 2005 and is arguably one of the most comfortable 2t out there.

I’m a clydesdale of a man, 6’2 218lbs. I love the rigidity of my 24. Only complaint I had was the suspension was a bit soft and handle bars were about as flat as a xc mountain bike.

It's crazy that you were rained out at Glenn Helen and then sunny skies and some dust on your track that is only 30 minutes away? Talk about micro climates. The bike looks nice. My brother bought a brand new 2023 and he loves it. Thanks for the video.
PS: He is having a little bit of a hard time transitioning from a bike that has traditional spring forks to the air setup. If I'm not mistaken, don't the factory teams use springs in both forks?

    2022 - We need a stiffer frame

Because people bitched they were too flexy before that 🤦‍♂️ That’s what happens when the listen to the peanut gallery. Normally it would help for Supercross too. No doubt they tested works versions of it in Europe and it worked great, but production it came out stiff. Perfect for most weekend warriors buying 5 year old bikes. They wont have flexed stressed out and cracked frames that the cheap ass Japanese bikes are known for.

If you alter traction control i suppose it only makes a difference when you switch on TC on the handlebars ?
