Also, I really really enjoy listening to Pat Foster talk about these bikes, very well spoken and genuinely sounds like he loves riding these bikes! Shoutout to my fellow aviation wrench 🤘🏻🔧
Congratulation You did it again. Put top of the line bikes with awesome riders from a wide spectrum and gave feedback from the best bikes the manufacturers have out there Keep it coming😎🤙🙏🏻
As always, awesome video! Wanted to point out the opening music as well, got me fired up and really provided a different and awesome vibe for the video 🤘🏻🤘🏻
One sitting at our Ann Arbor bike shop. Been sitting there for a month+ now. Probably adding a few thousands to final tag bc how is that thing not purchased by now.
Best option is probably the Yamaha 450F ME w/ an FMF pipe. Prob cheaper than most of these too even with the pipe. Obviously it’s not a factory edition but if you add the pipe is might as well be.
First rider was great but kyle # 2 rider was really techincal...thats helpfull because im a really stickler for a great set of front forks hence shock too...front forks are the main issue with me wanting a race edition...
I want a 23 KX 250 SR...AND I DONT WANT to ride a 450 because of the wear on my body...but the SR 450 is that good....i jump i can ride a 450 but rather play ride on a smaller 250 lite bike im retired an just building a small SX TRACK WITH some FREE STYLE MX obstacles a step up rytyhm mix area with an out door moto track intersecting
Fun fact... I have a KTM 2005.5 250f...I claim it as the first FE bike KTM made...I had the only 2005.5 250f in my state. I was told they had to import at least 100 to the US to be able to ride it in AMA, 50 for each state then 50 extra in Cali...Still got the bike and rebuilding it after it has sat since 2010 or so
Cant go wrong with KX , I spent 5 years on ktm,s with a 2018,2019 and 2022 bike and also pucrhased a 21 yz450f just to try it. For 23 im back on kawasaki and they are so forgiving bikes to ride. The front tire just does what I want and expect which is something I struggled with on ktm even though I had switched to spring forks. I had tried cone valves then mx tech lucky, then carbon then black jack in that order. Definatley things I liked about all the bikes but overall package hard to beat kx for me.Looking forward to the 24 kx!
My 17 Honda 450 was a rocket ship, that hit incredibly hard. As a racer it was great on lap 1 and 2 but was unbearable at the end of a 6-7 lap moto. SR would be a turnoff for me. Controllable power on a 450 is a must
I feel ya! I have the 22 Honda CRF450R-S (2020 Remake) that I built into an Red Moto RX with A-kit technology and engine package, and there was a whole lot of work to be where it is now! But that 17-20 engine is very friggin potent...it's a dream now, but could've bought 3 bikes. 😢 haha
$12,000 is a mortgage? What crackerjack box do you live in. Go buy a car, they ain't $20,000 no more even the cheap Kias are almost $35,000. Or an RV or a boat.....wanting 1970's prices for brand new bikes is just ridiculous.
So the kxf 2009 model monster energy edition wasn't the kick start to the rest of the factory editions lol think someone's being paid by ktm as you just said it was the 2010 model but those who really know would know kxf had a monster energy edition in 2009, so who really started it 🤨🤨😂 NOT KTM
Well they have what other manufacturers DON'T and that's a GYTR ensemble that you can buy piece by piece and make something way nastier than what these manufacturers sell (and I'm a Honda owner and fan). They give you the base with the Monster Edition and you can add their Factoty spec cylinder heads with pistons, camshafts, valve springs, exhausts, clutch, billet clutch and ignition covers and more for a much more reasonable price than what I paid for my engine package.
The stock YZ450F is likely better than all these bikes from my standpoint. You can't beat KYB suspension (possibly Ohlin's, which I suspect will be on the Ducati). I traditionally hate air forks and nothing pisses me off more than spending this much money on a bike only to dump thousands more into the suspension, just to get it on par with a stock Yamaha. The 2023 Kawi loses me with the couplers, so it will be fascinating with the 2024's stepping into the 21st century.
I don’t like watching bike shootouts unless it’s from swapmoto live you guys give the best variety of riders and styles to really break a bike down fully into their strengths and weaknesses
Thanks for having me out always a fun opportunity!
What will your Next bike be Connor?
KTM has been breathing new life into motocross for a while now. I wonder where we’d be without Roger DeCoster doing what he did.
Also, I really really enjoy listening to Pat Foster talk about these bikes, very well spoken and genuinely sounds like he loves riding these bikes! Shoutout to my fellow aviation wrench 🤘🏻🔧
Let’s go Kawi 🤘🤘
Great review guys
My son and I are so happy with our 21 Kawis
Looks like Buttery needs a Kawi
All the way from 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Congratulation
You did it again. Put top of the line bikes with awesome riders from a wide spectrum and gave feedback from the best bikes the manufacturers have out there

Buttery!!!
I love my 21 kx450, I'ts my first Kawi and I am so happy with it. It's great to see this group of guys likes it too.
Great Video! I had a 2020 Husky Rockstar, Loved it! I think I would buy the Gas Gas this time.
Beautiful machines! All of em. 💯 🇺🇸
Great vid guys. Love hearing all the diff opinions and what one person feels compared to the next guy. And you brought back the buttery!!!👍👍
As always, awesome video! Wanted to point out the opening music as well, got me fired up and really provided a different and awesome vibe for the video 🤘🏻🤘🏻
KTMs first Factory Edition was 2012 not 2010. AKA the Ryan Dungey Edition back then. I was fortunate enough to have gotten one.
Certainly the most beautiful track in SoCal
Team Green🧐
Excellent review
Dude I’d just about kill for an KX450 SR..
One sitting at our Ann Arbor bike shop. Been sitting there for a month+ now. Probably adding a few thousands to final tag bc how is that thing not purchased by now.
Got me the MC. Never owned a new or modern bike. Always old two strokes. I feel like a little kid on Christmas
Thanks

Go all in w/factory edition . Ya got best bike on most tracks. Take care of it ..will last ya loooong time. #KTM
Go Buttery!!!!! Where is Medium Boy?
First rider was great but kyle # 2 rider was really techincal...thats helpfull because im a really stickler for a great set of front forks hence shock too...front forks are the main issue with me wanting a race edition...

They put marvins number on the ktm. Cooper can’t catch a break 😅

Buttery Said "I'll take the green one!"
Need a shootout on an east coast deep rutted track

I like the ktm 450 such a great bike
Is that 05 fox gear?!!!!
the test riders hat 🎩 lmao

The gas gas would have been starved of air at the top end of revs. The closed air box would hinder it
I feel like there’s a couple Kx Glazers in the video 😅jk jkk
Nice video what is your favorite bike ?
Haiden Deegan has sold out every Yamaha for the next 10-years 😂
As did Tomac
What happened to the YZ
They dont make a factory edition
its just a graphics kit, not an entire different bike
Where's the Yami ???
Eye candy,,,eye candy everywhere!
All these bikes are sweet. I still love my 19 RWE! It rips! Thanks for the shootouts. I look forward to all of them!
rm army edition ?
Why not put the ktm 350 in this shootout
would get the gas gas. already own a 22 and absolutely love the austrian machines
Super surprised to see 45 on the Honda. I figured it would be 23 🤷♂️
4 strokes are most boreing bikes out there yawn the sound the and there crap no fun
one of each please
What about an RMZ450 🤭
The Kawasaki may have come in first place, but I'd buy the KTM simply for the superior quality. The KTM simply needs some work on the forks.
Temecula Motorsport has a kawi sr, 16000! Before tax and license…
Hey ur good friends mcgrath get him to ride....or hes to kawi biased A....ok cant do that...we can watch jeremy go threw whoops some other day...dang
If i buy any stock bike im getting the oilspring kit conversion forks are so important im not impressed with air fork el cheap rides
Just need a second mortgage to buy a new bike now days. The outrageous prices like this is a big part of what has killed MX.
that’s inflation for ya
$12,000 is a mortgage? What crackerjack box do you live in. Go buy a car, they ain't $20,000 no more even the cheap Kias are almost $35,000. Or an RV or a boat.....wanting 1970's prices for brand new bikes is just ridiculous.
@@Randy_Cox it’s called not being stupid with money, that’s the Cracker Jack box I live in
I hear about vibration on ktm, every test video...is it gnarly or what..?
I had a 17 21 and now 23 350. Doesn't seem to bother me at all, never noticed it
Have the 22.5 Factory Edition Husky 450, and I don't even notice it, bike has been solid🤙
Kawai please go back to KYB!!!!
Guess which one for me?
Yamaha needs to step up to the plate and develop a factory edition and not just a bike with monster black fenders.
Well they have what other manufacturers DON'T and that's a GYTR ensemble that you can buy piece by piece and make something way nastier than what these manufacturers sell (and I'm a Honda owner and fan). Why is the Honda 45 and not 23 colt is kind of a late fill in guy is that Honda being a little salty they are likely losing Chase.
Why would they be upset. Jett sold more bikes for them on a 250.
@@dekancaine I am talking about 450s here and what number is on the Works edition Jett is completely irrelevant to this.
Swap chose the numbers, not the manufacturers.
The progressive Suzuki by far
And RED 450 the 2023 SX champion😅😅
Where’s the Yamaha
They dont make a factory edition available to consumers
Dude doesnt race so wants a fun 12k dirt bike to win practice on
I love how star racing Yamaha didn't give you a bike lol
Yam doesn't make a SR, or special edition...of any of thier bikes.
These "factory editions" are not actual factory bikes they are blinged out bikes for consumers to buy from a dealership
N yami doesnt make one. It makes me sad
