I lived in an apartment in one of those 100 year old buildings and now live in a different place in Mariemont that feels like a bird sanctuary! Thanks for the tour.

I would love to go anywhere in Europe, I’ve been so many countries and all I’d go back to but I really would love to go to the Netherlands and see the tulips bloom.

I grew up there. I found your visit refreshing and fun. Also, I found it funny, that in your closing you mentioned going to Dairy Queen, when Greater’s Ice Cream shop(next to the Mariemont theater) has world renowned ice cream shakes, etc. Next time you visit, I hope y’all visit. Greater’s has been making ice cream the exact same way since the 1800’s (French pot). It is very very good
We actually just back there in November and went :) we have a graeters right by the school I work at too, so it’s something accessible at home haha.
Actually Mariemont is English Tudor style, not German. Growing up I played Varsity Hockey at the bell tower field ... it was near the high school before they moved it. Moved from Mariemont to NYC 😂 The Barn was originally a dairy. Grew up in Mariemont with fresh milk being delivered to the back door. The Barn is in used for art and art classes.
