I grew up in Mariemont and I have many good memories! I went to school at the elementary school at Dale Park through high school, graduating in 1973. It was through a friend from this highschool, nicknamed Goo, that the best thing happened to me for which I will always be thankful. I heard the Good News of Jesus Christ, who died on a cross to rise from the dead to give forgiveness of my sins and eternal life! I became born again. I thank God for His grace shown towards me and I pray more family and friends will receive this good news as I have. Mariemont was a blessing and the biggest blessing was hearing the Gospel.

I lived on Chestnut Street across from Dale Park until I was 5, and my grandfather was fire chief for 25 years. It’s a shame to see how the new condominium construction has forever changed the once quaint village.

Interesting film. Sadly, some parts of this video seem damaged. I could not view the first 1/4. There were short sound gaps in other segments (e.g., the date when the streetcar turn-around was abandoned).
