Very good information and different thought processes. I have been running my store now for I think almost 9 years (Need a Brick or 2) and I am still trying to figure it out. There are so many roads to go down not just the "yellow" ones :) My highest inventory count was 710k and I also work a full time job which as you know is very challenging. I have had your videos on while I work. For some reason it makes the work more enjoyable knowing others are doing the same thing. Best of luck to you and your store. Your heading in the right direction for sure. God bless Eric
710k - now that is HUGE! Thanks for watching and the positivity - means a lot when you're plugging away and just not sure if you're getting it right? Any tips very welcome. Love the store name too! Tried to find your store but no luck - feel free to drop a link in the comments or message me so I can check it out - never know I might ransack you for 4x4 plates! :)
@@YellowBrickRoadLego LOL I stopped shipping international due to the costs. It seemed to be a big hassle going through our post office. Made the decision it was not worth the time as you know is our most valuable asset. I have a 40% off sale running now my biggest ( on vacation). I thought I would skim 100k parts or so off so I don't sell out of the basic stuff. Right now we are at 573k with a 100k waiting to be put in later in the week. I have not been able to figure out how to scale this on my own. The ultimate goal for me is to do this full time but I am really not sure I can do this solo. I know a lot of sellers some you have mentioned have contractors helping. The used parts are the money makers for sure as far as profit but very time consuming. We are located in Massachusetts Need a Brick or 2. I would drop a link but It would take me too long to figure out how to do that :) if my wife was awake I could as her she is my "IT" department. I could keep rambling but the European stores have great prices on deep lots....God bless
@@needabrickor250 I just don't have time to sort used and work and pick, pack, post it seems and having gone down the new parts route first with limited space I can only accommodate so much used and keep it manageable. As we know time is key, and finding a way to grow beyond a certain scale requires more than one person for sure. It would be my dream too! Good luck.
Very useful video and would like a video on mass update as well! Thanks for your videos and have been following from beginning, interesting, to follow your way doing this! :)
