Happosai for as much as I love Ranma 1/2 is probably the biggest negative the series has, cause he's sadly the kind of pervert who rarely gets due punishment. Someone else, most often Ranma, gets the blame the most, often times getting heavy physical abuse, while Happosai mostly just gets a few punches or he gets off scot-free. Caitlin Palamara Coming from someone who's played the game, there are plenty who are just as insane if not more. Kamoshida sets the badness bar really fucking high because...well...his shadow embodies the sin of lust. But the villains in this show/game get really fucking bad.
I find it even more jarring that he is literally the FIRST villain you face of against with his Palace giving off heavy, near-identical Catherine vibes. Metaphorically speaking, It felt like the other villains had to take the stairs and gave up at different levels while Kamoshida got to take the elevator just because he got there first, with Shido already at the top floor.

As a long time fan of Persona, it sort of made me happy to see Kamoshida being in first place. In P5 every villain was supposed to represent one sin (I think everyone know what Kamoshida was). As a villain representation the sin of Lust, the writer did an amazing job on his character

Yeah watching that episode where they fight Kamoshida's demon form, or whatever it's called, I felt SERIOUSLY uncomfortable during that entire segment. There were just so many creepy things about that, from eating women's shapely legs, drinking shadow ann, and, of course, the lecherous tongue, it was just beyond creepy. Persona does do a good job of making villains out of bad human qualities but this was definitely the first one that made me want to take a scalding hot shower for a week afterwards.

Caitlin Palamara Coming from someone who's played the game, there are plenty who are just as insane if not more. Kamoshida sets the badness bar really fucking high because...well...his shadow embodies the sin of lust. But the villains in this show/game get really fucking bad.
I find it even more jarring that he is literally the FIRST villain you face of against with his Palace giving off heavy, near-identical Catherine vibes. Metaphorically speaking, It felt like the other villains had to take the stairs and gave up at different levels while Kamoshida got to take the elevator just because he got there first, with Shido already at the top floor.
Kamoshida actually goes out of his way to get the player angry. Shido comes in at a close second. My personal opinion.

I recommend the game
As a long time fan of Persona, it sort of made me happy to see Kamoshida being in first place. In P5 every villain was supposed to represent one sin (I think everyone know what Kamoshida was). As a villain representation the sin of Lust, the writer did an amazing job on his character

also in the anime adaptations, in the first anime he explicitly states, in that version's canon, that he wanted to ebcome fuhrer to change the miltiary dress code so women wore shorter skirts, and in Brotherhood/Manga he maintains the image of a playboy who dates multiple women and its ambigious how much is true. (The clip they used is notaly from the first anime, so I'm guessing that's the version they chose as an honourable mention, sepcifically)

Yeah watching that episode where they fight Kamoshida's demon form, or whatever it's called, I felt SERIOUSLY uncomfortable during that entire segment. There were just so many creepy things about that, from eating women's shapely legs, drinking shadow ann, and, of course, the lecherous tongue, it was just beyond creepy. Persona does do a good job of making villains out of bad human qualities but this was definitely the first one that made me want to take a scalding hot shower for a week afterwards.
BlackTigr, Inc. It's better in the game I feel. He's the first boss of the Persona 5 game, and as disturbing as his demon form is, it is so fucking satisfying to beat him yourself.
And also, it is a well designed fight.
