Some people go to the gym for exercise, but I find treking in the bush like this is far more rewarding. Keep up the good work Phil! Love the drone shots!
Just got back from the Victorian high country. No gates, free camping and well maintained roads. Cross back into NSW camp booking essential ( not going to happen ), tracks all gated and potholed roads. Thank you NSW NPWS!!. On a more positive note, another great video Phil👍.
NPWS seem more intent on preserving their own jobs than genuine conversation. But on a positive note, thanks Coobye, always appreciate your feedback 😎👍
Gday Mate Just came accross your channel, great stuff and very informative Me and my mate are from Adelaide on Africa Twins and we will be heading your way Its great to see the area and terrain you ride around, We are on heavy bikes so dont like the kanrly stuff I like the fact that you mension the towns, roads and provide a map of where you have been Big thumbs up from me !
Well that's a first! Somewhere I managed to see before you 😆 That last 500m... it doesn't mention that the first half is almost vertical! But wow! What an amazing place and views! I love how the first crest (where the sign is) you look over and see the massive cliffs below Point Lookout - breathtaking! I know the spot where you camped, nice spot and amazing drop off beside it. Geez those falls were very deep in the bloody Jungle Phil! There's so many in the myriad of amazing valleys in there. I always wanted to get down to Oaky Creek and see the Dam, which partially collapsed in 2013, never got around to it. Still might one day, although the dam wall is rebuilt now.
Well, you're the reason I went there - so thanks mate!🙏. I just had too...lol I think I know the dam you speak of. Wild, near vertical at the base of a mountain? Anyway, we only live once, so keep getting out there David 😎👍
Awesome mate! Ebor is bloody incredible! Bugger you didn’t make it to the bottom of the falls next time you head out that way let me know I’ll take you down behind it! Thanks for the vid Phil!!
Was waiting for your condolences on not getting to the bottom of the falls! 🤣👍 So bloody close, just got rattled in that thinker scrub 😩. Cheers mate 🍺
Hi phill, noticed you crossed the river Styx and lived to tell the tale ,nice video ,I hope to do some sight seeing in a similar vain as you .Keep up the good work !
Another great video Phil - been following you since you had the dr650 then you turned up with same bike as me Crf300 (actually mine is a crf250 rally BUT with cbr300r motor fitted - couldn’t wait for Honda to release the right bike) I love the whole rambling and exploring nature (rather than hard enduro focus of some other channels) . Tip for young guns when leaving a jacket and helmet on your bike - try a cheap cable bicycle combo lock from bigw run the cable through the helmet and down the jacket sleeve - no one gonna bother to cut it if your jacket and helmet look anything like mine 😂 weighs nothing - maybe 300grams. Easy to store anywhere on bike
Cheers mate 😎👍 That's a good tip with the bike lock! I'll be adding one next ride / walk. Glad you enjoy my ramblings, they just come natural...lol Cheers 🍻
you have great roads for riding and camping by light dual sports. Our bike show is this weekend and will be trying to get a trade in for my 2022 KLR650 for the KLX 300...little less suspension work needed over the Honda 300....great videos...love the camping and cooking part also.
Looks awesome, what a great ride. Have been toying with a lightweight adv bike. The CRF 300 Rally is the choice ATM, currently on a BMW RT 1200 and love it but wish to see the places off road
That's a big bike! Great around Australia touring machine, but yeah, taking into more challenging terrain would get me nervous. Two bikes is the answer. Test ride a Rally and see what think 👍

Another great video Phil. You will be fit as a butchers dog soon if you carry on climbing those hills. 😂👍🏻
Funny, that expression is used here in Australia (well, not by anyone under 40 🙄) Cheers Shane 😎👍
