Another great spot that, and not far off the beaten track, although tricky to get in to for some. I've taken BigKev, who used to be a train driver, up to meet Kevin, who owns all those locomotives, he let us have a good look around. I'll never forget the first time I discovered them, just riding past and there's dozens of steam locomotives sitting in a paddock!! Shame they let all the great little train networks die - they've been replacing the lines here with a cycle track (grrrr...)
Cheers David. Nice part of the world up around Dorrigo. And that railway museum is a bit of a shock when you first see it! Would be great if the line was repaired and tourist runs down to Glenreigh, but will probably never happen. I remember BigKev's videos, and he mentioned being an X train driver. Cheers mate 😎👍
Just found your channel, yesterday, and have been going back and watching all your videos. LOVE the content, man 👍 Really enjoying it. You do a great job. I could see your channel blowing up, one of these days 🙋♂️ Thanks
Hi Phil , just let you know, briggsvale railway station was infront of you behind the bushes, the building you refer to as briggsvale railway station is actually someone’s house. That track you went down to find the railway line after bobo creek bridge heading towards cascade , can show me where it is on a map? That area could be either brooklana station and the old sawmill sidings
Ah ok, guess I'm going back..lol Is there anything left of the original station? This pretty well where I rode down to the rail line. www.google.com.au/maps/dir/-30.2350238,152.787438/-30.2337763,152.788442/@-30.234754,152.7867992,16.76z/data=!4m2!4m1!3e0?entry=ttu
I reckon the train that still runs from the mines near Mudgee to Singleton area would make a fantastic tourist train ride ( through the mountains and follows a river ) Its Coal trains that use it . Tim Fisher was a train man . I’m still loving my Rally , I’m in Wodonga Vic. Can you give me details of the air bed pump you were using mate .
Cool, you got the Rally! And yep fun little bikes, go pretty well anywhere 👍 And yep, It was a Hipcamp. Cost a few $$, but totally avoiding the crowds is worth it 😎 Here's a link if you're curious. Ah, thanks Eric 👍 And yep, a Hipcamp. Great way to avoid the crowds. Here's a link to it if you're interested. Cheers mate 👍www.hipcamp.com/en-AU/land/new-south-wales-bandicoot-bend-y0zhozqq?Iterable&adults=1&children=0
How about making a video about your equipment and editing software? You could show us what you use and how you use it, and what program you use to edit your video. I'm sure many riders would be interested in that, I know I am. @MidCoastAdventures
@@steve2me414 I'm probably the worst person to show tech stuff...lol But, I have been using Hitfilm Express editing program. Great software- and free for the base model stuff that I use.
Over here in US and Canada they pull up the old abandoned railroad tracks and develop them into “rail trails” for walking, bicycling and in some cases trail biking. It’s a great effort that has help a lot of people get outdoors for some enjoyable activities.
Ride map in the Description Box 👍
It’s always an adventure…carry on! 😁👍🏁🏍⛺️ Thanks for sharing! 😁🙏
"It’s always an adventure" You need to put that on some merch 😁😎 Thanks Roz 😎👍
Nice to see the 94 octane fuel. Highest we have in Montana is 91.
Oz 91 is your 87. 94 would be your 91. We do get 98 which is the “special stuff”.
Thank you Phil another master peace video.
Ah, cheers Peter! Thanks for tuning in mate 😎👍
Beutifull trip
Ah, thanks mate 😎👍

Another great video!
Thanks again Bogor! 👍
Another top video. I love that run up pine road. In the old day's you vould go up pine rd and come down Jersey Bull Road and make a loop ride of it
That would be a cool loop. Have a swim in Urumbilum Creek on the way home 😎

Awesome mate, and thank you! Have a Merry Christmas buddy 😎👍
@MidCoastAdventures we did. I hope you had a Merry Christmas, as well 🎄
Thank you.
Nice one Phil👌I imagine riding up that railway to glenreigh would be hard work😂
🤣 be near impossible to walk! Gotta go to the tunneks. When your down, could become a fun and interesting loop ride 😎
@@MidCoastAdventures yeah mate I like the sound of that, get out there when I’m down next.
Always love your videos mate . Clearly time I dusted of my old DRz250 and did some scouting around myself instead of living through you . 😂
Dust it off, Alan. Get out there mate 😁
Awesome video my friend! Loved the waterfall. Keep 'em coming mate 🙂
Thanks Petros, glad you enjoy them mate 😎👍
Wow mate! A top ride. Those falls looked great! Makes me want to go there 😊
Bloody nice up around Dorrigo, well worth exploring mate 👍

Wow that would have to be the most steam engines in one place in Australia wouldn’t it as always brilliant video cheers Phil 👍
Cheers Johnny 👍 Would be pretty cool if the train line was up and running again, but logistics and $$$ would be immense.
There is more trains on the other side in the museum part

There's a few good train runs that have gone to ruin, hey. I did a video on the bed, tent, air pump. Think it's called camping gear on a budget 👍
@@MidCoastAdventures thanks
Been past that road down to where you camped on hortons heaps of times and didn't know that was down there
Was a paid camp site, but pretty nice in there Michael 👍
Nice video Phil👌 Is that a Hipcamp campsite? I picked up my Rally last week, what a fun little bike.👍

Isn't it hortons creek where you are. Horton river is a couple hours west ?
You are correct. I was on Hortons Creek. Ill sort out the thumbnail text 👍
Hi Phil,
Another great video, was that campsite a free camp?
Or was it a private campsite? Like Hipcamp or similar

Hi, have you made a video about what technology you are using?
You mean to film with? If so, no video. But use Gopro 8, DJI microphone and Canon D200 dslr

Interesting! Definitely a more viable option than restoring a train line 👍
