Thanks for doing this un-boxing. I'm looking to get a knitting machine and have just started looking for videos just like this to help me decide if I should go with the Sentro to start and see if I like it or to take the plunge and get the Addi, I did watch your videos for the un-boxing of the Sentro and your first time using it. I'm going to check out some other videos to compare both machines. Please do make more tutorials as I have no idea what I'm doing, I've been crocheting for over 20 years and have never knitted a stitch! Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to exploring your channel.
Hi Katieree, I think your videos are great and your great at explaining things, so I would love to see a tutorial on using this Addi machine. Thank you.
Hi! My Sentro is giving me hassles even when I take apart and service regularly, and I’m considering getting an Addi- would you say the Addi is more reliable?
I just got my Addi . Would you please do some videos for beginners? Maybe a hat to start. I never have tried or owned one of these machines so I am a true beginner. Thank you
I love my Addi. No slipping or slidig. But the machine does not like thicker yarn. I produce hundreds of hats for my charity Christmas in a shoe box for children in Romania every year.
Do you know what the equivalent is for knitting needles? I'm thinking of taking a hat off the machine and finishing with ribbing with knitting needles.

Thanks so much for watching Karen! My pleasure 😊
I noticed the same clunk on my Sentro, makes it easy to hear where you complete a round.
This was such an informative video thank you Katie !! It was really cool to see you inbox the addi knitting machine! Xx

Thank for the awesome video and you did cast on correctly it's back and then forward all a round!!! 😘💕
That little screw on the clamp is a wing nut. 🙂
Katieree, normaal zou ik vandaag de machine ontvangen, bedankt voor de uitleg.
Have you made a panel on the addi yet? Did the row counter work on it or does it work like the sentro where it doesn't work on panel mode.
Just got mine, but my box is different colors! How do I know if it's a knock off or not?

The Addi is definitely a better quality machine yes 🩷
I wore out 4 sentros! Just got an addi let's hope it lasts longer

Yes I've found the same with my Sentro, it definitely doesn't like the thicker yarn either. That's so lovely of you! Well done 👏🏼
what weight and type of yarn do you use in your Addi? Thank you.
@@mar8014 Mandala cakes work great or other 3 weight yarns. RHSS seems to be to hard and stiff, big twist does not work either.
Make a sweater with and see if works better sentro knitting mechine

I’d say 4-5mm! 🫶🏼
What can you knit with a knitting machine? It’s very interesting.
