You have made a great tutorial Shelley. My wife, Joy, has made 113 beanies on her Addi, 108 of them have been donated to a charity that cares for homeless people. She has been asked by a group of ladies if she could produce10 inch squares. I think your tutorial may be just what we need. Thank you Shelley
Thank you so much 😊! 113 beanies to donate! That is wonderful! On the Addi 46 needle machine approximately 33 rows will make a square piece. Not 10” though.
Thank you so much for this great explanation of how to use an Addi! There were no instructions included so I’ve been scratching my head, trying to figure it out. I really want to press “Like” but your likes are now at 777. Lucky number! Here’s my “like” for you:❤
Thank you! That was very helpful. My Addi 46 arrived yesterday and I was practicing with a panel and had numerous questions, and wondered how the stoppers worked. Now I can go back and practice more. Thank you!

Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I bought my addi several years ago I never managed to knit flat, I just gave it a try and I succeeded thanks to you. Very very big thank you. 👍😁
My dad wanted to buy me a knitting machine, the straight kind. I felt it wasn't "hand made ". Not so!!! Circular or straight knitting machines still require a lot of handwork to be done. So in hindsight I should have said "ok Dad, get me the machine." My Dad is gone now, but when He is resurrected, I'll show him my machines, because I plan on purchasing the straight ones, that way I can make Afghans 😊! Thank you for your lessons. They are very instructional.
Great tutorial!! Takes the fear out of trying a flat panel. Very good and thorough instructions I'm sure will help not only me master this...but many many more! Thank you so much!! 😊
This was great! I like that you did the two ways. I am making a doll blanket for a doll bed, and I've been thinking of using the flat panel option for that. There is no doubt that I will be playing this again as I start that project! :D

I have a Sentro machine and I got these stoppers. They’re slightly too big for the Sentro so, I got them to fit by using a thin zip tie on the closed end. This allows them to fit by putting the open end over the inside of the dome (pink parts that are red in the Addi) and then pushing down the closed end on the outer side with a click. The zip tie reduces the extra space. Be careful not to push too hard as you butt up to the stoppers. They can pop off.
WOW ❤another great easy to understanding tutorial!!! Thank you Shelley. This is next for me to try. I will be replaying this many times, I’m sure. I am having a difficult time with problem yarns.. splitting, dropping and especially tucked stitches. Using your advice on pulling work down as I go helps. Thanks Shelley.
Thank you so much, I got an addi for Christmas and I was finding flat panels so difficult, I am going to try the second method because the yarn kept coming off the needles when I tried the first, I will practice some more.

Help Shelley!! I tried to learn panel knitting watching other videos and kept dropping....three attempts and zero success...kept dropping stitches hahhaah now I am going to watch your tutorial...I did not know you had a video on this...Wish me luck!!🤣
Hi. I am seriously thinking about starting to use a knitting machine . Since I am a beginner what machine would you suggest I get . I do knit and crochet. I watched video on slipper with a little heavier yarn and the sentry looked like it was having a hard time. Does it have a counter or does only the addi have a auto counter. Would really like to have your suggestions
The Addi by far is a better machine. The Sentro counters do not work for long. They are very cheap. I love my Sentro’s but there is no comparison to the Addi.

I have just started circular knitting on the Addi and find your videos most helpful. Thank you so much for your easy instructions.
Thank you 😍! You are so welcome!
This video was very thorough in explaining the end of row problems I was having. Your tips were very helpful!
Excellent! 😍

You can definitely make beautiful afghans with a circular knitting machine as well. Check out my channel. 🥰

Great job! Very clear instructions! Thank you! 😊
Thank you! 🥰
I just recently found machine knitting. It's very enjoyable, and addictive. I find myself trying to crank my phone, you think. Silly me 😂!
Hahahahaha!

Thanks Shelley, I haven't tried panels yet ..... great explanation
Your welcome🙂
Very clear video and instructions. I like the second way and will try it. I was wondering how to increase there.
Thank you 😊

Do you know if the stoppers fit on a 48 sentro ?, great video as always love them ❤
Thank you! 🥰
Sadly they do not fit. I tried them and there is no way to make them work.
When the Addi counts on flat panels , it only counts one way, is that right? Therefore you would have to double the count for the total rows? Thanks.
Yes unless you do your flat panel with the machine in circular mode and the black keys in the middle of your stitch count. Then it counts every row.
Danke sehr schön erklärt, hat gedauert die richtige Antwort zu finden. Die anderen reden zu viel über keine ahnung... egal danke
Can I use the same stoppers for the Sentro or the Addi?
These ones only work on the Addi.
You can order ones that work on both machines from …
pom-kins.com/
thanks@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
Dove posso comprare il blocca punti?
Sorry, I don’t understand.
They came with my machine.
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet Pensavo di acquistarli 😊. Grazie ugualmente 😊
What's is an
Addi divider!!
Addi stopper.
They come with the machine and I show you in the video what they are for.
Ugh I am still practicing
You can do it. 🥰
