    This preparation we have never thought of.Looks yummy and tempting.We do not get Asam Keping.Is Asam Kepingbis pungent in taste.So tell us alternative to Asam keping.Is taste of this dish going to be different than what you have elaborated.Thansk

      Hi Surrogift IHS, thank you for trying this recipe 😀 Yes, it is. Asam keping is an ingredient that gives a slightly tangy taste; it's not pungent. It can be substituted with 1 tbsp of concentrated tamarind juice (recipe here: th-cam.com/video/6CI2OBKBX-k/w-d-xo.html). If tamarind juice is also not available, it can be omitted 😀 The taste will not be too different from this recipe. Hope it helps 😀
