That mining trick would've been nice to know earlier for you I bet, thanks for guide and the tip, I did not know you could use any source of water, I thought I had to use a caldron >>
Thanks for the tutorial, with the resource pack this is soo much damn easier, I hate smacking around and trying to figure out what button does what, with the numbers in there smiting is actually enjoyable... Cheers!
thank god i found this video, i was in the process of testing out all types of different combinations on a creative world, so this saved me so much time
unsure if someone said it but you can use the anvil guide to do it one better instead of making it even then going +/- from there, you can already aim for say, 52 on the ingot to tongs recipe.
i dont really play with a helping texture pack so another way to go about this is good old trial and error in the copper age, once you can perfectly forge stuff in the copper age you can take that data into the next age pretty easily
I think it would be easier to subtract required 3 last operations from target, and then do the operations for that target, followed by three required operations.
Double ingots are done by just welding! Put the two hot ingots in the anvil with flux, exit the anvil menu, shift right click on the anvil with a hammer.
10:06 so! hey, ive tried this tip in the "Terrafirmacraft Hardrock" modpack and the base mod and it DOESN'T work, i think it only works with "TerraFirmagreg" modpack or any "gregtech" afiliated mods
How did you manage to turn on jei cheat mode? Everything I've tried doesn't turn it on the I've tried the keybind and going into the config to force cheat mode on, but nothing happens. This is a single player world with cheats enabled.
@@Flurben didn't work. Though I wonder if it has something do with none of the key binds I set for jei working. I like to set my show recipes and uses to m and n but when I do it doesn't accept them and still uses the default r and u keys.
@@Flurben In the first world i can pile them up, but in secound they are placed down like anyother item( flat icon image) , max 4 of them and cant be stacked
Im not sure whats a bigger time save. Knowing how to perfectly forge or knowing the hammer is THE best way to mine
All of it!

Cauldron would be killer 💀 I’ve wasted so much time using a pickaxe, never again!
By the way, for the 129 mb purified ore, you need 48 to make 43 ingots, thats the max amount to get a full amount of ores without any extra left over.
ty
Good to know!
we just keep a partially full ingot mold of each type at my base and fill that first next time we smelt.
@@Fieryxjoe that works too ig
also 3x121+5x129=1008mb (7 ingots)
What a great and crucial tutorial! I made a perfectly forged tool first try with this! Using GUI scale 5 helps a lot while blacksmithing
Ayo! That's the goal! GUI scale 5 is almost necessary... Wished there was a hotkey to set it without going through the menus
Thanks for the tutorial, with the resource pack this is soo much damn easier, I hate smacking around and trying to figure out what button does what, with the numbers in there smiting is actually enjoyable... Cheers!

Yes! This! That's too big brain for me but I'll eventually figure it out!
Iirc you have to do that to get perfectly forged I had to do it for a perfectly forged wrought iron hammer head
my man, you are a LIFESAVER.
Glad I could help! Thankfully smithing isn’t something that sticks around in TFG once you progress far enough.
thank you so much man my dumb and dehydrated self took an entire afternoon trying to figure it out
i dont really play with a helping texture pack so another way to go about this is good old trial and error in the copper age, once you can perfectly forge stuff in the copper age you can take that data into the next age pretty easily
This works too of course 😅
i just smack the metal over and over again until i recognize the pattern
That's what I'd do originally but my min-max mindset kicked in eventually!
I think it would be easier to subtract required 3 last operations from target, and then do the operations for that target, followed by three required operations.
Harder on the mental math and finding the right tick on the chart but more foolproof to get perfectly forged certainly!
my brain is too smoth too understand how to get more than copper tool
Well good thing I have an entire let’s play series that can show you how to do it!
Thanks!
Enjoy the easy smithing!
that helped a lot,thanks (:
thats hep a lot thank you very much
Glad it helped!
I can't even make the double ingot, even aligning the two arrows, for some reason it just does not works
Double ingots are done by just welding! Put the two hot ingots in the anvil with flux, exit the anvil menu, shift right click on the anvil with a hammer.
Very Helpful Video!
This is very helpful thanks bro
Glad I could help!
its says ' made for an older version of minecraft' when i try to enable the helper
Doesn’t matter! It’ll still work!
Very cool! However, I won't remember any of this.
even with the resource pack i still dont understand.. cries
Hahaha it’s alright, the best teacher is hands-on experience every time

That makes sense! Maybe there’s an equivalent in other TFC modpack by checking through NEI/EMI/JEI
can i somehow choose what to craft im making copper tap's over and over (tfg)
you need a better tier anvil, to make a copper one you need to weld 14 copper ingots together, search up a tutorial
@@edwilson6076 i managed it out, i was trying to make a copper double plate in the anvil menu instead of punching it with hammer while crouching
Looks like you got it figured out! Good to see the community helping out!
One question what pack are you using to get you to stack those ingots like that?
That’s a part of normal TFC actually! Just shift right click on the floor
Good vid, the Greg's ores recipes are so weird
Oh man.... Don't even get me started.
Baller
You know it ;)

Try opening to LAN with cheats enabled

I figured it out it's under the emi button rather than the key bind menu
Its very helpful
Glad you think so!
oooooo this is so informative o:
Almost as informative as all the random bunny facts you know
THIS IS LIFESAVING
Glad it helped!
I have a question. I have a problem, i downloaded tfgreg and in one word i can stack ingots but in the other i cant .Does anyone know solution?
That is a weird issue, do you have more context to see if we can figure it out?
@@Flurben In the first world i can pile them up, but in secound they are placed down like anyother item( flat icon image) , max 4 of them and cant be stacked

Are you shift right clicking the ingots onto the floor to stack them?
thank you so much😗😗
I’m glad the video helped!
This channel is cringe
Thanks for paying enough attention to make an opinion!
