Yes. But same was the situation during PTI rule as well. The very first thing PTI did after coming to power was to put 70 year old Mr. Irfan Siddiqui in jail under false and laughable charges of violating "Qanoone Kirayadar". The rented house belonged to his son and the tenant was in his house for less than one month which is the legally allowed limit for registering a tenant.
Sad day for democracy when you are bullied out of politics because you are a threat to the opposition 😢
Getting a taste of her own medicine. PTI was happy to let the establishment run roughshod over their political opponents but now that the shoe is on the other foot, all of a sudden they’re the paragons of democratic values.

The thing is whoever enters politics through military establishment goes through this ultimately. The same goes for Imran Khan but he is still getting away with only appearing in courts. Imran Khan is like Hanibal at the gates of Rome. He keeps defending the army and maintains it is just a few bad apples whereas the crop is blighted. Army needs to be thoroughly restructured. Khomeini understood this and thats why the Iranian Army was not able to dismantle the revolution. Morsi was delusional into thinking that his military is patriotic and did not purge the military of questionable elements. Imran similarly does not take the bull by the horns. He needs to decide if it is going to be a revolution or not. He is not going to get Haqeeqi Azadi by playing nice.

Britain created Pakistan to continue the Great Game (U2 pilot Gary Powers takes off from Pakistan, flies over Afghanistan and Central Asia and is shot down over the Soviet Union). The first secretary general of NATO, General Ismay was a veteran of the Anglo-Afghan wars. Go figure Dirty Harry.

I have sympathy for Shireen Mazari and how she was treated seems wrong but the American bases case causing a conspiracy on US order to out IK is a whole bunch of crapshoot. As a Pakistani American I find it very hard to believe. Pakistan has decided to make its bed with China and US has decided that China led by the communist party is a strategic competitor and has tried to prop up India to balance China's influence in the region. US would know that getting bases is Pakistan who is so close to China would be very hard. They may have asked but they probably expected a no. It makes no sense for them to expect anything else but a no. In this day and age they do not need bases in Pakistan to fly a drone over Afghanistan and do whatever mission they wanted to do. Pakistan needs to look internally why and where this conspiracy came from. What is evident is that IK was overthrown via constitutional means completely legally. Horse trading involved. Most likely. Illegal. No. Now however, the new government is disobeying Supreme court order to hold elections and causing mayhem that is not good for the country. A self created crisis to hold on to power. Country be damned. Nice.

@@samh6919 Actually sheep may be you because you are buying this line hook, line and sinker. If you want to correct the path Pakistan has taken in these times, you need to look internally. In other words, you need to look at Pakistani generals and army. US was simply funding the army because US needed logistics support while it had forces in Afghanistan. US should have been out of Afghanistan 10 years ago. But US payment was funding many Pakistani army needs. Now that funding is gone. There is zero evidence and in fact evidence is to the contrary that US ever asked Pakistan for any military bases. None. In this day and age and given US tech. they can easily fly from Qatar where they have a base and be in Afghanistan in an hour and do what they would like to do before anyone even figures out US aircraft are in their airspace.
We will miss you. Great woman. People doesn;t know anything about her who are saying bad words for her. We are so ignorant, we are so consumed by bughz e imran that we have closed our eyes. This woman is better than Benazir, spent her whole life for a cause. She only came into government in 2018. But she was far more bigger long before that. I feel sad and sorry for what she had to go through. Establishment Shame on you!
