Been watching all of your build videos. You have definitely created a cult following. Not all of us can afford custom builds, nor be a sponsored shooter. Your VLOG series speaks volumes to us normal shooters.
I met you here at the NRA in Raton, and you are a really down to earth guy taking time to talk to me.
I appreciate taking time out of your day.
Keep up the good work Phil.

Hey, so I’m currently building out something very similar, I have a Tikka CTR, and am wanting to build out an X-ray. But they have the option of buying the bravo using the CTR mags and buying the X-ray rear end to swap it out with. I was wondering if it is worth it to go that route so I can continue to use the Tikka CTR magazines, or if I should just get a factory Xray and switch over to aics? Which would you prefer because I’ve heard the CTR mags feed smoother, but haven’t gotten behind any with the aics mags to know the difference. Just want to know if it’s worth the extra step in buying the rear end to keep the CTR mags, or if I should just convert over to aics. Thank you!

Love my 24" Stainless CTR in a Bravo chassis. 6.5cm. Loveeeeee it. Not looooooving ammo prices right now tho lol.

I have the 24" stainless too. Debating between the Bravo and Whiskey folding stock to reduce overall length. I guess it's a matter of going to AICS or keeping with the stock mags.

Had to leave a comment brother. Met you at Guardian in NC last year. Still use the tips you showed me then. I gotta agree with the other comments this video was pretty spot on with audio and video. And thanks for being real about not always being able to drop major coin on optics especially for new shooters.

I’m curious about the torque settings affecting accuracy my origin torqued to 65lbs with 7prc is shooting .8 groups with factory ammo I might have to play with that. It’s a bravo chassis so it’s a krg but i just wonder how much you have seen that with all of their chassis?

3x for the optic was an idea laid out in the 1990s and 2000s when optics could only be found from 3 or 4 brands...
Now a days a better way to look at buying an optic is
    Capping at 1000 yards
$.75 per a yard to physically do it with repeatable results...
$1.00 per yard to be comfortable while getting introduced...
$1.25 per a yard to have a pleasant time having a hobby...
    $1.50 to have some luxery...
For employment purposes like law enforcment same rules can still apply for training only...

good points about the torque settings on the barreled action to the chassis
    it really does matter IMO

I have weights in my competition rifles but not this rifle. For my competition rifles I have weighted length of pull spacers to help balance the weight of the rifle so it is not so front heavy with a 26" thick contour barrel. This brings the balance point of my rifle right in front of my mag well. But I add weight to my rifle for balance, not because I have trouble managing recoil, as I can manage recoil just fine even with this 12 lbs configuration.
