Hi Peter, Glad to hear from you. Best health and wishes to you and family. I have been really sick this year with a Staphylococcus ureus infection, that l was afflicted with in Mid -Jan. I spent 10 days in hospital and one month hospital in the home. The bacterial infection was treated with anit-biitics, picc line intravenous. I am slowly recovering but my mobility is limited. My muscles, tendons, tissues, etc are very sore in my lumbar, hips and both legs. I hope l can get better. I am doing all the rehab, gym strenthening, stretching exercises, and hydro pool. I have also given up alcohol. I never smoked or took any drugs in my life. I believe it was dorment in side my body and suddenly was over come. Immune system more than likely was low at the time. I was doing placent in December 2023 as an operating theatre technician for two weeks to finish off my studies. I don't believe l contracted it whilst l was there. There is no big time oain anymore. But just that soreness, aching and weakness. It depresses me as l can't work or do the things l use to do as yet. I was lucky, to get it early with no debridement surgery. It nearly took my life as the fever was causing havic. All my markers, alt, Crp, white cell count was all really elevated. Ut was touch and go. But it never travelled and the hospital nedical staff did all the required tests to show this. All my markers have returned to normal. It is terrible to be sick. Wishing you the best .❤ James, Melbourne, Australia
I wondered about your progress very recently while going through all my subscriptions. Great to see you looking so good and generally being stable and I look forward to your updates whenever you can manage😃
Good to see you Peter! Sorry your having some aches and pains in your neck and back. Working out Is the best. My tumors are stable and I've been feeling good. Love your videos! Hang in there my friend! 🦓😍
Finally remembered to check for an update. I'm glad that things are going well for you. Lovely photography! I'm an avid reader too, I would recommend Jodi Taylor's work, starting with One Damned Thing After Another.
Hi Peter good to see you !! Farnham is a lovely place used to go there regularly when lived in London. Neck problems are more debilitating than people realise especially the accompanying headaches it drives me insane at times ! Let me know if you find a cure!! Someone I know has had botox injections at the hospital for their neck problems not sure what that is suitable for but thought I'd mention it. You're looking great and its really nice to hear how youre doing. Best wishes always and take good care.
Peter, I recently had a bowel resection surgery to remove a neuroendocrine tumor. I am stage 3. I am in the US, and they will not give me any treatment -- only monitoring with scans. You give me hope. Thank you.
Hi Peter. During your recovery for liver resection and gallbladder removal, did you ever feel light headed or have liver tremors if you ate something that was too greasy or fatty?
Hey mate. I've watched some of your Videos and im feeling with you dude. Your Input litterally made me go to my doctor as i have the flushsyndrome with shortness of breath (sometimes). The symptomes getting worse every week. Meanwhile i have a permanent (Light) Red face. The flushes becomming more regular and spread to the neck and sometimes to my feet as well. I cant really say what triggers my flashes. Therefore my doc send me to different specialists and i got a colonos and stomachcopy, ct with contrastmedium of my Abdomen and a Scan of my throid without any Result. In Addition are my bloodvalues (great bloodpicture) and my male "instruments" ok. I know that you are not a doctor, but have you any advice for me or what specialist you can recommend? I quite desperate.... I wish you all the best for your fight. You are an Inspiration!
I'm not sure I can suggest an approach that's appropriate for everyone. I saw many many panic attacks while I was in the ambulance service so hopefully there is comfort knowing that you're not alone and although clearly a horrible thing to experience they are very common.
Hope you are well
Great to hear from you, Peter, best wishes to you from Minnesota
Same to you!
