@@PeterMRiley , Please read me about your cancer : Guy TENENBAUM's case about cancer and his protocol : - a low-carb diet outside the fasting period (total elimination of carbohydrates/sugars) and eating OMAD (One Meal A Day) crucifers, garlic, onions, avocados, walnuts/almonds, olive oil and oily fish to avoid losing too much weight (avoid meat and cheese) - taking specific food supplements that Guy TENENBAUM has called TCC (The Cancer Cure) which correspond to his 5 essentials, with the dosage he took: * High-dose melatonin 30 mgr before going to bed (Phycocyanine or Lithotamne, but the most powerful would be melatonin): inhibition of SCOT (to use pure phycocyanine and lithotamne to increase the volume of SCOT inhibitors in addition to melatonin) * Allicin (either as a 2400 mg quality concentrated pill, or with crushed raw garlic): up/down stream of SCOT * Matcha green tea (with turmeric and ginger): up/down stream of SCOT * Metabolic treatment (metabloc): Alpha Lipoic Acid (or Sodium R Lipoate, 600mg 3 times a day, 1800mg in total) + Garcinia Cambodgia (Hydroxycitric Acid, 600mg 3 times a day, 1800mg in total) + CoQ10 (the transporter, 100mg morning noon evening) * Omega 3 in a DHA - EPA ratio (500mg DHA/200mg EPA): to fight keto paradox during ketogenic diet or the fasting phase * Bromelain (850mg to 5000 GDU) and Quercetin (500mg) for nodules * Berberine and Curcumin to block additional metabolic pathways - Alkalinise the body with a combination of baking soda and cider vinegar - if the body allows it: long fasting then the following month by short fasting and intermittent fasting + taking nutrients and minerals to avoid deficiencies (vitamin D3, Magnesium Bisglycinate and multivitamins)
Thanks Peter, I think companies like Randox provide a valuable adjunct to NHS testing. The price is pretty reasonable for a full blood/urinalysis/body composition analysis and report. Seems sensible and prudent to me. All the best
Fortunately, high cholesterol is relatively easy to lower with diet and exercise. A consultation with a nutritionist may help you determine a proper diet. Happy to see your liver numbers are in the green.
Hi Peter, I really enjoyed this video, it's very interesting! I'm pleased your results are so good, many people would be envious of such good results. You are looking really well! :)
Hi Peter, great to see you. Very interesting video, glad you’re doing well. I’m going to try and find a company over here in the US to get tests done too.
Hello,Peter Was just thinking about you and wondering how you are doing Not difficult for you to look like a Professor as you are highly intelligent On the whole great results Couldn’t be happier 27 Yeh Warm Hugs to you and your wife
Hey Peter! Glad to hear that your blood test went overall pretty well. About colesterol, I know lot of people with high values, even when they have a good nutrition style, they do sport activity and such. It's very tricky. Eating eggs too often, for example, tends to raise colesterol values. My mom who usually has high colesterol, eats eggs no more than once per week, or even less than that. Also, in an old video of yours, I saw that you daily have a toast in the morning... As Italian, my nutrition habits are surely different, and I avoid as much as possible that kind of bread, since it's really not healthy, especially when you eat it on a daily basis. It's full of preservants, fats, sugar, industrial ingredients. Way better, if you can, to eat bread made by a bakery, usually handmade and fresh. Reducing those fats may also helps to reduce a bit the colesterol. In any case, it's always nice to watch your videos, they always contain a lot of interesting info, and of course you are always very inspiring :)
Hi Pete, you're looking good Great plan for you to track your results and keep up with your amazing journey so well informed "in an awe-inspiring way we are wonderfully made" from the book of Psalms. You and J are such an inspiration. Listen to your own body nobody knows it better than you do! Give my love to the rest of the family please. Take care Barb
Yeah, I'm in a similar boat, dad had 100% blockages in his early 50s & as a slim guy you wouldn't expect this until you realise that 1 in 250 people have hypercholesterolemia, which means you're 6 times more likely than someone without it to develop heart disease & blockages at an early age. I also have it as it's passed down & as luck would have it I went vegan several years ago (not related to my health) which eliminated the majority of sat fat sources from my diet & as a result my levels came right down.
i truly cannot understand how those body composition analyzers work🤔 My oncologist told me not to watch the numbers so much as watch the trend, especially with tumor markers. ofc if something is glaringly out of range then it will be addressed. am in US, have not heard of that health clinic.
Looking for trends is very good advice I think. That's why I'm not going to get to worried about any results that are slightly out of the ordinary. It's a good way to pick up on something that may need immediate attention but the real use for the tests is being able to compare them over time I think. As for the body composition analysers... I'm not totally convinced by them to be honest, but again maybe there will be some trends to see over time. Hope you're well, and thanks for your comment!
Thanks for sharing the info, Pete. I'm fairly sure that I mentioned this in the past, but after my time in the Air Force, I went to nursing school at university. Was an RN for 30 years. Also, I have strength trained and done massive cardio exercises since I was 18. I just turned 62. For the first time, my total cholesterol is a tad over 200, and my hdl are worrying. My dietician has recommended "plant sterol" supplementation... There's an orange juice for this that you can order on line. Just started with that. I've always had a healthy diet. 6' tall, 178 lbs since I was a teen. The one thing that has changed though, is that I have been a full-time caretaker for my partner for 5 years and my stress levels are through the roof. I've started occasionally smoking some reefer, and I am on an SSRI. Notwithstanding, I've never had cancer or any other major disease. Just wanted to say that this constant worrying has really fucked my over. I've always dealt with stress through exercise, and I haven't forgotten this. So, Peter, don't underestimate the power of various stressors. And I do realize that I am preaching to the choir 😅... All the best, and we appreciate the updates. (And this Trump Fascist threat we are facing over here isn't helping at ALL!)
Glad your test results are so positive. You're taking good care of yourself. Btw, with your glasses and what looks to be shorter hair, you look even younger than your biological age 😉
You should try to take methyl folate rather than folic acid. Some people cannot convert folic acid efficiently causing a build up of homocysteine. Triglycerides are also a major factor in heart disease. This should be looked at but since your small VLDL is low, no worries. Your hsCRP is also low which is important. For cancer patients, please also check ferritin and if possible LDH and ESR. If your budget can afford it, please check for CTC circulating tumour count. Anyhow, good numbers so sleep easy
Hey, hope all is good with you. Thanks for your advice. Triglycerides was tested and were nice and low. Ferritin was on the low side of normal. My budget can't stretch to tumour markers test right now. Hopefully in the future!
you have a very clean eating/diet with tons of veggies. Do you think you really can optimize it with additional vitamins? years ago i tried lots of different vitamins products only to find out the were always low? dosed. Instead if you really want to supplement maybe you should focus on single vitamin product.
I’ve been told by my specialists that with Neuroendocrine Cancer the vitamin deficiencies are often there so I’m tested regularly plus my electrolytes. As well yes radiation from scans can be very high for two weeks so I was told if I had to fly I’d need a note😂 thanks but too sick. The accumulation of radiation stays in your body at lower levels longer the more you have. Dr Attila is great and he’s Canadian as well🇨🇦glad your results were mostly unremarkable Peter.
Hi for nearly 2 years ive had severe face flushing & loose stools , thought it was ibs & maybe lupus but watching your journey makes me think it's carciniod syndrome, like you i have low heart rate (47) and wanted to ask i get thumping heart when lying on left side & my urine smells , did you have anything like that ? i'm on nhs waiting list for gastro specialist, wishing you all the best and keep posting .
Hi Gary. I didn't get those particular symptoms no. If you're concerned about the flushing and your referral is not in the near future I'd recommend asking for a 5-hiaa 24hr urine test. Tests for high levels of serotonin which was the first diagnostic test of any note for me. Hopefully it all comes back normal but it might be worth ruling it out.
Thanks for quick reply that test was in my thoughts & ill ask for that , forgot to ask did you suffer from blood pressure changes I go from low to high & heart rate stays same regardless.
Hi Peter went to gp to ask for test was told my gastro specialist would do that , to be honest he seemed pissed off I asked for test , did your gp order test , ill go private as my gastro referral is months waiting list .
Always glad to hear of your health updates...I keep you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers often. Blessings to you both!
Thanks Joseph
