What a man, such an uplifting story!! Got to admit tho, I got a bit teary when you went through the finish line😊So nice to have you're updates, hope they will continue. X
Dear Peter, I think you are courageous doing this run after being diagnosed with cancer & having a liver resection. Well done you, with your wife by your side, you can carry on, take care
I knew you'd get there. As you said with the help of a wonderful wife and family surrounding you and supporting you through thick and thin is the boost you sometimes need. Good luck for a very healthy bright loving future.
Hi Peter, I've followed your journey for a while, but this is my first time commenting ☺️ I'm so happy for your results, I was diagnosed with mouth cancer in July last year, removal of the tumour on my lip and 6 weeks radiation followed, it's been 8months now and I'm still struggling with the aftermath TBH, but stories like yours keep me going 👍 I'm glad you are back doing what you ❤️👍 I'll get there one day too, best wishes from New Zealand 👍
YESSSSS PETER!!! Congratulations my friend!! I enjoyed this video very much, except for the part near the end when someone was cutting onions in here😉 That was a fantastic race, and that distance and course were no joke. Great job! You did fantastic! Not uncommon for blood chemistry to be out of wack in healthy people, let alone someone who's had cancer, chemo, and surgery. Products like "Blood Builder" and "Healthy Blood" will help you get your Iron AND Ferritin levels back (you should get tested for both). You'll feel so much better once those are both up into the high zones. Post cancer, I also take 15,000iu of vit D3 with K2 every day, in order to have my vit D level in the 80ng/ml range (Sports Research brand, made with coconut oil). I also take quite a bit of magnesium, and Whole Vit C. Citrus fruits, pineapple (left sitting out on the counter until the leaves are starting to turn a little brown), kiwi, strawberries, etc, are a great source for whole C. This month marks 8yrs since I received my call that my sudden onset of incredible nausea and pain was due to having lymph nodes in my torso that were the 3.8" in diameter, instead of being the size of peas, and that I was full of cancer. Like you, I was a runner at the time. I actually told the med-tech who called, "You have the wrong number." What you said about not trusting your body is so true. I train (run and mtb) year round so that I can run R2R at the Grand Canyon and do other big trail/adventure runs, I'm in the best shape of my life, I'm 58, and I still think "Has it come back?" every time I have any odd pain anywhere, that I can't account for.
I'm not the only one I'm sure who cheered you up the hills and across the finishing line, a metaphors for your chance journey. Jenni must be so proud and I love that you dedicated this video to her. Congratulations to both of you❤️❤️
Peter you have had a emotional journey, Bud you still keep going well done you it does brings tears to your eyes to see that you’re very determine Your are and inspiration well done Love to both X
Peter l am so proud of you ! You Warrior! Pure joy seeing you cross the finish line. Your mind set and physical conditioning are a huge part of what got you through the run as well as your very challenging cancer. I too have joined the Cancer club recently. I am doing well and am inspired by you . Take care ♥️
Peter, WOW! This vlog had tears falling from my eyes like a waterfall. Not through sadness but for the HOPE this can bring to so many people fighting cancer. Your story will inspire others Peter and give them Hope. Healing Prayers sent as always for although your cured, I want that healing force to surround you constantly and keep you safe. Amen Brother x

I don't know what I would do without my husband being by my side. Cheers to your wife! Keep the stories coming. 🦓🎉🥰
Fantastic, Peter. I couldn't help smiling throughout the whole of the video. Wonderful achievement. I haven't been able to run in years; truly miss it, but seeing you do it made me so happy. ALL the very best to you and Jenny. 👍👍👍
That was so inspiring to watch Peter. You should be so proud how much you accomplished. I was cheering you on. So glad you are back to doing what you love to do. .
I had the biggest smile on my face (& a few tears) & felt so proud of you when you crossed over the finish line. Its really quite incredible how far you have come in such a short time. I'm so happy for you that you are doing something you love again as its really important. So well done you! Just fantastic 👏🏼😁
Thank you Peter! Such an inspiration to so many people! I'm in awe of your positivity and endurance, Beautiful to see you go through the finish line! 💙💚💛💙
Incredible, watched every video since your awful news and your attitude throughout has been commendable and I'm not sure I'd be able to have done the same. You should be incredibly proud of the battle you've won and I wish you all the best and continued health Peter!
Hi Peter I really enjoyed this video, you have come along way, with all your ups and downs you came out on top you are truly a amazing man all my best to you and Jenny....hugs...Mary from Canada 💠💠💜
The best video yet. So very good to see things are going so very well. Hard to imagine that you were trained while anemic... Glad that's been delt with. All our best from New Mexico and with love and much respect...
Congrats Peter. This Video gave me hope maybe I'll be back to CrossFit this time next year! I have two more rounds of PRRT and then hopefully surgery and Cancer free!
Great inspirational video! I have been following your story since it appeared in my feed. You have persevered through a very scary time and are fighting bravely to live the life you desire. I totally understand what you said about "trusting your body". I can see why you may have felt like it was betraying you since you always maintained a healthy lifestyle. But, your attitude is amazing, and how can we know why cancer strikes some people? It's a reminder to live each day to its fullest. And wow, 33rd place. Awesome and congratulations!
You've been quite an inspiration with how you've documented your health and thought process about the situation and recovery. I dropped off my 5 HIAA 24hr jugs to my hospital 2 weeks ago as I've had symptoms for a year and only just been referred. Your videos are improving all the time with the videography and editing, keep it up bud 👍
I am at the start of my journey. It has been so long since i felt well. I have tried so hard to find answers...I just hope it's not too late and I can say that I have no tumors inside my body. You give me hope...
Check you out with the fancy video I bloddy love it ❤️ so cool. 20 miles.. Wow.. I struggle with 4! Im inspired😎 and you're amazing. Also remember you saying you were craving a guinnesa well. Here in ireland when you're low in iron people say you crave it and its a great source.. Myth or not maybe there is something to it since you did find out you were low in it! Great excuse for a pint!
wHat a great way! Congratulations Peter!! But maybe it's time to stop looking back and look ahead?? I might say something else here on the subject of death, which is a subject for each of us. One of the most important books on this is: Return from tomorrow (Ritchie) There You learn that leaving Your body one day (even a sporty body :-) is just leaving Your BODY! - YOU - as soul and spirit- will leave - and begin Your journey!!! (I made my expiriences too....)
I started experiencing random flushing about a month ago and went to my doctor who blew it off as nothing. I decided to research what it could be and found carcinoid syndrome because I have stomach issues I went to another doctor and explained what was happening and he sent me for bloodwork and a 24hr urine test. I been having panic attacks for the last week waiting for my results (which aren't back yet) I have a 2 year old and a 10 week old baby so I'm so scared. I don't know yet if I have it or not but for someone who feels like they do, you have given me hope❤️
I am going to be having liver resection surgery soon and have been stressed out about the time away from physical activity and this is very inspiring. Thanks
best wishes to you Peter
Well done son ! Xxx
