This can be a good time to lube the swingarm bearings.
For the front sprocket, I had to use an extension for my ratchet, plus my friend pushed down on the back on the bike. I had to then use my leg to push on the spanner to loosen the sprocket bolt 😅.
For the chain we didn't want to go through removing the swingarm, so we used a master link to get it done. It's still holding up fine 15000kms later.

But one thing we need to care about while adjusting chain slackness is be care to matching the direction of moving chain. It must be in a straight line for both chain wheels .There is some marking lines on both side of swing arm to adjust the slackness...

1. Aluminum is weak relatively iron or alloy.
2. I have also fz 25 abs.. but no idea
3. Go and ask ur nearby local mechanic shop for used engine oil collector. Fr example in my area delhi, east zone. They're taking 15-20 rs per litre.
4. Old parts u can sell at junk part @ 30 rs per kg(rate in my area).
5. For rusting, u can get spray from amazon or flipkart by typing rusting spray or else vist near yamaha service centre n ask yamalube rusting spray.. it might b costlier comparatively the other company products available on amazon or flipkart..

Bro, Why did you remove swing arm to replace chain /sprocket . i mean, we can remove the chain by removing the chain lock right with a nose plier

@@LifeofPal hmmm it's a big headache to remove so much for chain sprocket replacement. Bad choice of chain sprocket by yamaha
Yamaha's "original" chain sprocket is of Rolon brand. Its costs around 2000 in authorised service centre. Same thing you will get outside for 1500rs.
I asked to rolon dealer before buying. I told him number of teeth and links but Rolon currently not supplying that outside.

Great video and quite informative one. I have a doubt though. Isn't there any master link to remove the chain ? I mean you can remove the master link and the chain will open from there, you would not need to open the Swingarm in that case. Just asking this as every chain has a master link. Also, the swingarm needs to tightened with a specific torque I guess. Correct me if I am wrong.
There is no master link on this chain.
Exactly same issue in my fzs. Can't figure out the issue. Also my bike wobble while turning in slow speed also.
Question- I removed number plate bulb wire (5 W) from rear fender and connected a DC mobile charger (Robotouch Rideon) in the bullet connectors of stock wire (in +/- wires). Charger worked fine for a while and suddenly electric current from instrument was gone. No electricity while turning on ignition. Found that 15A main fuse was blown. WHY it happened? Connections were right still fuse blown. Why?

11:28 when I went to change my Fz25's Chain drive the mechanic told me this axle is a little damaged, if I change it bike will not have any vibration. My bike was at 20500km , He showed me how the tire and the swing arm is shaking a little bit, I think he fooled me because when I agreed he took out the axle nott from his own drawer and told me he will not include it in the job card. So my question is what about your bike is the Axle nott ok in your case?
Axel doesn't get damage by its own until met with an accident.
Wheel rotate in a bearing. So the play will be due to bearings not axel. New axel is expensive. He will not give it for free. Yes he fooled.

Its definitely doesn't cost 650. Its around 150-180 as i remember

Thats needs to be check unable to help. You can try loosing throttle body screw to see if it is free up a bit it will give you some clue.

Hi Bro, loved the video. I have a doubt, i recently changed my MT-15's chain and sprocket set to Rolon. One peculiar thing i noticed is that rear sprocket wobbles left to right when viewed from rear i.e lateral movement. Can you just run your bike on main stand and view from the rear if you have the same issue !? This is an issue faced on many bikes including litre class high end bikes. Did a lot of google and din't come accross and concrete solution, some say it could be because of the Cush Drive(The rubber grommets inside the hub). A R1 owner from US had the same problem and he changed literally every part that could lead to the issue i.e the hubs, cush drives, axle bolt,swing arm, sprockets and even the entire wheel set(alloy wheels) but it never went away ! So plz just check issue on your bike & revert back. :) I will share the link to the R1 thread where they have discussed and uploaded the video aswell, do check out to know exactly what the problem is.

there will be some slight movement in every bike you cant make it perfect. these are not superbikes made in limited piece with absolute perfection. we have to accept the fact these are high production cheap bike. so when you focus more on production at less cost quality will be compromise but we expect too much out of it. If movement is too much then get it checked otherwise ignore as chain sprocket does contain some play so no worry

I would like to give u advice, as u live in delhi n u need to buy some costlier product for FZ 25. Visit karol bagh, there is shop name Jain yamaha, official shop by yamaha and each n evry part original with 20-30% cheaper thn workshop. I had previous bike YAMAHA LIBERO, the reg expires then i purchased fz 25 abs. But m purchasing evrything from there including engine oil.. since 5 years...
