Glad you survived our eastern weather, thank you for the great content, construction work, windy, weather, clouds rain little dogs congratulations, and you got to see colourful houses thank you again looking forward to next one
St. Martins is beautiful. I used to go there and sit on the grass by the lighthouse and watch the tide come in when I lived in Fredericton. There are caves near there that are only accessible when the tide is out.
Thanx for another enjoyable video Isabelle. Looks like that fall just made you a better rider and a better luggage manager 😊. As I did another solo trip this winter, this time from California to Virginia, I agree that solo trips are the best. Flying down to Virginia on Monday to go pick her up from storage and taking a week to ride back to Montreal thru VA, PA & upstate NY, can't wait! Lâche pas Isa.😉
Well that crash sure had many impacts on me, and yes some of them are positives. That California ride sounds amazing. Can’t WAIT to be able to do that type of trip !!! Good for you Jimmy! And yes, solo rides are just the best.
Hey Isabelle, I'm a 70-something bike addict from south Alabama who just recently discovered your channel. I too have a '23 F900R and wondered what it was like to tour on this machine and you have answered that question quite nicely. I have been watching Noraly (Itchy Boots), Kinga (On Her Bike) and Lea (Got2Go) for several years and have now added you to my list of lovely ladies who ride. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Thanks so much to include me in your crew, Paul ;-) Yes, the F is quite amazing for road trip. I was very surprised because I consider it more a sport bike than a touring bike but let me tell you, this bike can handle ANY situation on road trips. Totally in love with the F. The only issue : it doesn't like humidity in the morning. I had trouble starting her every time it had been raining during the night or it was too humid. But she eventually always did start and no issue at all the rest of the day. That's really the only issue. For the rest, she's a beast ! I have Pilot Road tires on it. I've had these tires on all my bikes. Perfect for road trips because it handles the rain extremely well and it lasts very long. So there you go :-)
I've been riding since I was able to fit on a 50cc bike. I'm now 62 and still ride. All those experiences, good and bad, make for great memories and stories. I recently told a young guy one of my stories and he said,"you're a b-ass!." 😂
I've watched all of your rides and I just want to say in all sincerity "Well Done Isabelle"👏. By getting back into riding since your injuries on the scale that you have shows how very courageous you are. You are a true inspiration to other riders who have been hurt. I'm looking forward to seeing even more rides. By the way, I liked the Bummer and disappointed meters😂. Excellent footage Isabelle. Stay safe.
Lol yes I tend to repeat myself a lot in these videos lol. My vocabulary is very basic obviously. Thanks for the kind words. I’m proud of myself. Those trips pushed my limits and I would never have regained that much confidence if I just had been riding on regular rides in my area. I’m glad I pushed through.
I just discovered your channel and am thrilled - nice work! May I ask when this trip was? I leave in June to ride the Fundy and Cabot Trails, and the road construction has me concerned. Thanks!
Hey thank you. You’ll be all right. It was July 2023. The Fundy construction lasted just a few days, precisely while I was there. You will get perfect asphalt :-) As for the Cabot, I can’t tell. Safe trip !
What a great ending to your trip. Bad and good mix together makes good memories and great stories to tell. Can wait to see your next one! Have you been able to start riding yet?
Almost did my first ride yesterday but the plan had to change. I have to bring her to the garage on Monday to change the tires so it will be the first ride … and lucky me, it’s gonna be 2•C on Monday. Not gonna be fun with new tires ! Did you have your first ride ? I think I saw a vid but not sure
@dustnroad The temperature has a hard time staying over 10°C!!! Yeah, I did have my first ride, but it was to bring to and back the motorcycle to the garage for Spring check- up and new tires! I am still waiting for warmer weather. Can't wait to start the season!
Yeahhh, the Chip Seal reality is pretty much coming to every state now. Hit a bunch of it on a trip up to Mt Washington 2 seasons ago. Not too bad on an ADV bike with 50/50 tires, but it gives really weird feedback for sure. Great stuff.
The Fundy Trail Parkway is an amazing ride but yes, they put fresh chip seal down on long sections almost every year. I honestly think that it's to keep the hooligans from treating it like a racetrack. 😂 It's best to hit it either early in the season in May/June before they put fresh seal down, or September/October after all of the loose stuff has been washed off to the shoulder. Cheers!
@@dustnroad the past few years, yes. But it just became an official provincial park instead of being privately run so it’s sure to be neglected going forward. LoL
It's always the memories for sure. Monday morning, I'll be on my way from SC to the WV/ VA area. To ride the "Back of the Dragon" and other beautiful roads up there. Memories I'll never forget. This video was perfect timing.
@dustnroad thanks. I've been up there before about 2 years ago, in a group tour, and I had a wonderful time. Decided to go back up, try different roads, and do the trip solo this time. 👌
Effectivement cette saison a été plutôt humide. Ce doit être quelque part le karma. Les moments forts ont d'autant plus été appréciés. Je me réjouis du projet 2024. Merci
What's the meaning with that "boot" in the middle of the road? The one with the explaining lady. And another question. Why built-in-bridges? There must be a reason! Still cold here in my part of Denmark. 9 o'clock, saturday morning and 4 degrees... Need to go for a ride! Got a new endcan, you see! Arrow racecan. Yummie! Thank you very much!
Those are interesting questions John. So the boot is a paying boot. Many of the places I visited during the trip are National Parks or Provincial Parks and you have to pay in order to enter. As fir the bridges, we have tons of them in Canada. Those are very old bridges and the covers are meant to protect the wooden structure of the bridge from the elements. I love those bridges. They usually are in small towns and remote areas.

Thanks 😊

Ok ☕🌹
End of another great series. Keep them coming. Ride safe
Thank you :-) More on the way
Well done girl! You are a star. Ride safe 😀
Awe. Thanks Joan!
What a great series Isabelle!
Its always great when a plan b turns out to include icecream 👍🏻
Now we all have to patiently wait for your next series.
Ice-cream solves everything! Thanks for being there always !
Another great video Isabelle, I'am sorry you didn't get to do the twisty road but that can be done another time! Ride safe and put your feet up!
Thank you Steven. It’s not too far from home so yes, maybe some other time
be one with the gravel Isabelle-wan!
Lol trying trying :-)
You had me at "ice cream" 🙂
Lol Always a winner

I didn't have much time to explore but I did enjoy what I saw.

Now, a good excuse to return to a freshly paved Fundy Trail?😉
Got to ride that one some other time for sure !

Yeah m, the weather sucked. We were there later in the summer and locals told us it was one of the wettest - coldest summers they could remember. 😕
