- After 5 agonizing months without riding (winter is harsh here in Quebec), I am so ready for my next road trip. This year, my target is the Maritimes in Eastern Canada. But before hitting the road, how about I show you the stuff happening behind the story : the planning, the packing, the filming, the editing.

Ok 👏🎉 Isabelle 😊
Yay Isabelle is back 😎😃
Happy to be back :-)
Happy trails and ride safe!!
Thanks! Will do!
I’m thrilled for your next ride! Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks Bruce. Looking forward to sharing it with you guys
Good luck on your next adventure. Looking forward to watching this series.
Thanks James. It's gonna be a good one
Isabelle, there is an old adage "Preparation is the mother of success" and you have certainly been very thorough in your preparation for the road trip. IMHO, you also do an excellent job of editing your travels. Well done.
Lots of wisdom as usual, Jeff. And it was a fun and different video to make. Glad you liked it.
This was super cool!
I’m so looking forward to your next series.
I really enjoy your style.
Thanks again Cris. I'm sure you can relate to some of this content ;-)
"From the heart". That's way I find your films so interesting. The story with the voiceover binding it all together. As if the film was done in one take. Your honest and personal style makes it special. I like that! Like that little giggle at "it's magnetic" Well done!
Thanks John. Always important for me to be candid. I’m glad it transpires.
Also, amazing organizational skills for 3 weeks, proper light packing, and that's the way, well done you, this video should be a must watch for a lot of travelers! 👍
Jeez, thanks !
It takes a special kind of person to do this...thank you!
Love your video's.
Thank you. Appreciate it :-)
Looking forward to the series, the photos you have shared so far look amazing. Stay safe
Some parts of this trip will certainly be epic!
Can't wait
Great insight into what it takes to put a trip together! I’m currently planing our fall trip from East Tennessee to Niagara Falls and back. Maps, atlases, online sources all over the desk.
I hear you. It's so much fun the planning part. Enjoy!
Awesome, thanks for sharing another amazing journey, safe ride! Lezzzz gooo! 👍👍
PS "The Beer Trip 2023" name also seems very appropriate 😉
Ahah I didn’t get to drink many of these after all. But the thought was there :-)
Cant wait to see your next adventure. Thanks for sharing 😊👍🙏
Thanks! It's gonna be an interesting one
Wow. This is so great!
Thanks a lot!
One of the most interesting videos I’ve seen in a very long time. Thank you.
Wow, thanks a lot!!! Appreciate it.
Welcome back! I've been off-riding and you should too!
Thanks! No off-riding for me though
looking forward to seeing you again
Thanks Walter!
Looking forward to sharing your next adventure. You’re the only moto vlogger that I can follow as your style is unique. Bon chance.
Damn! Thanks so much! I put my heart in these vidos. Glad you enjoy it.
Nice to see how you prepare for a trip! And yes... talking to a camera is werd 😂. Luckily we are most of the time with the two ofbus and Muriel is not afraid of talking to a camera in public at all! We also prepare our rides in detail... maybe too much, but we want to be a digital tourguide instaed of another motovlogger... This means however that I try to find the best possible stops during the rides already in wintertime and Muriel writes a script upfront with all kind of information.... and we love it 😂
That sounds great! I can see from you channel that you do focus on the visiting part. That's awesome. You're right, it's a good way to set you apart Cheers!
Hello from Bangalore, India. Looking forward to your next ride!
Hello to you, all the way to India!
That's awesome that you were able to have the helmet and Cardo.
Hope you've made a great trip!
Exactement
Well done! You need to get a GoPro remote. My Triumph Tiger has one in the bike, you can stop recording without having to reach for the camera. But if you have multiple I have no idea how that would work. :)
I have tons of footage and almost no videos. I guess I am not good at storytelling. Need to work on that, so thanks for the insight into how you do it.
Thanks Jason. Yes, I've tried the remote but for some reason, it didn,t work that well. Maybe I should give it another try
Great opening Isabelle. An equipment and gear check is an interesting start. Are you riding the same bike as last year?
Looking forward to seeing the next vids. My wife and i just got back from the maritimes, the humidity was new to us but we had a great time. Hopefully you enjoyed it too. 😊
Yes John, same bike (totally in love with it). The trip is actually over, ready to share it with you guys. And I confirm it was very very humid.
@@dustnroad the summer is still young. Doing and short trips before the snow flies?
@@Axr24have lots of daily rides
dont forget to ride :)
Of course not
pression des pneus, tension de la chaine, niveau d'huile, ...et bonne route !
Oui oui, tout ça
@@dustnroad tous mes voeux de bonheur et d'épanouïssement.
Looks very organized. I'm thinking of heading down to Pennsylvania, through the Appellations, in late August. I'm more of a look everything over fly by the seat of my pants kind of planner.
Lol that’s a very interesting way to put it! Enjoy your trip
@@dustnroad Thanks, I am quite excited about adventuring down there and getting lost.
@@tridentyyz1031 Getting lost is always the best part.
Hi Isabelle, you know i love your channel, what kind of SD card do you use in your camera, Brand and memory size?
Thank you :-) So I use the SanDisk extreme micro sd cards. I like to use one card per day so that it's not so dramatic if I lose one (never happened) so 128 is the size I use. And you can actually find all the accessories I use here: www.dustnroad.com/touring-accessories/ (there is a section about filming)
@@dustnroad thank you soo much!!!
