I had to re-upload the video since there was a glitch and it was frozen for about 1 minute in the middle! I'm sorry for the confusion! I hope you enjoyed❤ Stay till the end for a little extra😉
Have made these 2x now and when I tell you they are DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! I sub butter for plant based butter w/avocado oil. I baked mine on 350 for 8 mins as well and they came out perfect every time. The perfect crisp on the bottom yet soft and moist as well. Thank you thank you thank you!! Adding this to my holiday baking recipes !! 🤍🤍🤍
Yummm! Gingerbread cookies! 🎄 Thanks for the recipe and video and explaining what happens if you bake with baking soda or baking powder etc. I do like chewy and moist gingerbread cookies, so this was helpful!
Люблю пряники, запах этих печений, непередаваемый ! Спасибо Вам, за такой подробный рецепт! 👍👍 I love gingerbread cookies, the smell of these cookies is indescribable! Thank you for such a detailed recipe!👍👍
Just made the dough! It wouldn’t come together for me like yours! So l added about couple of TB spoon molasses. It worked! Now I’m chilling them. Your decorations are so chic I decided to make all my sugar cookies like yours! ❤
OMG. what a great video, precise and you got straight to the point. Your cookies look absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe!
I’ve never tried it but it’s possible to alternate it with the same amount of brown sugar. Honey or Maple syrup has similar texture to it but I’m not sure if it works fine. I think it’s safe to use one of the other cookie recipes such as butter cookies, shortbread cookies, etc. and add spices to it. I have some to choose from!
This is awesome. Another recipe to try! 😊 Very informative as always! Whenever I want to bake, I always check your channel if you have it coz every single recipe I made from your channel turns out really well. Also, your daughter is growing up so so pretty! I love watching her on your videos ❤
We have some very soft holiday honey hearts shaped that is coated with a layer of chocolate, i love them, especially the softness. I love the "uh oh" moment
I love cooking but HATE pastry & co, I needed a very easy recipe to make gingerbread and.. First time is a charm, I followed your recipe to the T, and the results are amazing. Thank you!
these look awesome! your patience with decorating really paid off lol i made gingerbread cookies yesterday but had limited supplies for decorating but they still taste good and it was my first time making them
Thank you so much!🥰 I purchased it at a baking tool store in Japan called "Cuoca" a while ago. I looked online before but I couldn't find the same one😓 I'll definitely share it if I can sometime!
I’ve never tried it with honey, so I’m not 100% sure but I’m afraid the texture changes too much or the cookie gets too sweet. Just my guess! You may want to use a different cookie recipe (I shared my shortbread, tart crust, or butter cookie recipe!) and add the spices to be safe.
Hello!! I think, you are the best. I love your videos, the recipes an the way you give all the tips to share a succesfull experience. Thank you very much
Thank you Aya for all the explanation. I am also glad for the icing recipe which is without egg whites and risk of salmonella. However regarding the milk, how long can we keep the icing in the bag? How we store it and once on the cookies how long can we keep them?
Hi! I'm glad it was helpful. The icing should be good for at least a week in the fridge or a few days at room temperature. - If the room is not nice and cool, I would finish icing on the day of consuming them. I hope that help!
Yes you can! Just be careful so that the flour doesn’t scatter everywhere. You may want to switch to a spatula at the end. I always chill it but it is not a must if you are in a rush. I talked about it at the additional tips section.

I’m a sucker for gingerbread and I’m a chewy lass and once made unfortunately my kids don’t see a crumb lol 😂 I love gingerbread and it doesn’t have to be Christmas
Thank you for the great recipe! May I ask, what brand cookie cutter you have used for the house share 🏡 and the candy cane ? They are adorable! Thank you! 🎄⭐️✨

Thank you for giving it a try! I love eating it as is without decoration as well.
Can the baked and iced cookies be frozen? (Love your work, and thank you for sharing!)
Thank you! I recommend icing the cookies after defrosting them from the freezer to avoid the icing from weeping.
Love your videos the visuals music your whole vibe
Can I purchase that rolling pin you’re using on Amazon?
Thank you so much!🥰 I purchased it at a baking tool store in Japan called "Cuoca" a while ago. I looked online before but I couldn't find the same one😓 I'll definitely share it if I can sometime!
So beautiful

Amazing 😍 does that icing get hard or crust?
Yes it gets hard and dried!
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉so great thanks from Greece and happy Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas to you too!
Thank you.
they look so beautiful!
Thank you!
Omg mine turned out so good it was so much better than the first recipe I used
Thanks for the assurance i was looking for that 😭
I’m glad you liked it!!
Could I use a hand held mixer? Also, after you cut the cookies, do you chill them again?
Yes you can! Just be careful so that the flour doesn’t scatter everywhere. You may want to switch to a spatula at the end. I always chill it but it is not a must if you are in a rush. I talked about it at the additional tips section.
Those look fantastic!
Thank you!
Hi Aya... I've never ever done icing and would love to try your recipe...i just have one question...does your icing sugar contain corn starch/flour?
As far as I see the package, it says 100% sugar!
@@PastryLivingwithAyaI’ve been looking for an icing sugar brand that does not contain cornstarch. Could you please share what brand you used?
Thanks for the recipe! It looks much better than the recipe i used last time - that recipe was so sticky
My pleasure😉 I hope you'll like this one!
this is amazing! can't wait to try it!
I hope you’ll like it!
Wow!! They’re so delicious I just made a couple days before and my kinds love them. Once again thank you!!!
Ps. I’m Mexican sorry for my English 😅.
Thank you for trying it and letting me know!! I’m so glad😊

Liebe Aya,
deine Plätzchen sehen so lecker aus 😍✨ Danke für das tolle Rezept 👍🏻
Viele liebe Grüße
CHRISSY
Thank you!
Do you chill them after cutting into shapes? 2:58
If yes for how long?
I do but you don’t have to if you are in rush. I talked about it at the end of the video. I chilled just until it got firm completely.
Soooo cute omg ❤❤
Hi, can I use dates molasses?
Hi, thank you. I have learned so much from your channel. Can you do a Gingerbread loaf?
I’m glad!😊 Good idea!
wow😮😮 looks so easy and yummy❤❤
Thank you!
If I don't have molasses is there anything I can substitute it for?
I’ve never tried it with honey, so I’m not 100% sure but I’m afraid the texture changes too much or the cookie gets too sweet. Just my guess! You may want to use a different cookie recipe (I shared my shortbread, tart crust, or butter cookie recipe!) and add the spices to be safe.
Thank you so much!@@PastryLivingwithAya
Please make some eggless videos. ❤
I have substituted egg for flax seed “egg” and it has worked for me 100% of the time. 1tbs flax seed meal plus 3 tbs of water. ❤
I’m a sucker for gingerbread and I’m a chewy lass and once made unfortunately my kids don’t see a crumb lol 😂 I love gingerbread and it doesn’t have to be Christmas

It's Target holiday cookie cutter series! You can buy them at Target stores or online. I will add the links later if I can find!
@@PastryLivingwithAya Thank you very much! I appreciate your response! I wish you happy holidays! 🎄✨
Hi what can I substitute molasses with ? If molasses is substituted will the end product taste and look be compromised? ❤

Gingerbread without honey is an abomination!
