Great vid, Ken and have a great Aussie Day, cobber. I was born in Adelaide, then went "bush." Say "Hi" to Yunta and Mannahill on the way; the Ampol Truck Stop on the left, where you fueled up, was where I did my Apprenticeship from 1964>1970. It was then the Late A.E. Sherriff's BP "Oasis" Garage. Loved growing up here and in Mannahill where my Late dad and brother had the General Store. Things were a lot different then, as the rail standardisation had not been done and which "killed" these little places. The road from The Burra, to Cockburn was diet and quite a few narrow bridges, but a steady stream of trucking operators, like TNT, Hi-Speed, Joe Attard, Glen Adams, Barrett's Overnight, Silverton Transport and marine freighters, hept the towns and broken Hill supplied. Gee, the shot of the Willyama Hotel in Broken Hill, bings back fond memories of my Late brother, Murray, whom always stayed there between "sheds", when he was wool classing with shearing contractor, Mick Stevens.. I haven't been back to SA since 1993 but will be heading over the Nullabor in June, to visit my old home(s) of those days from 1949 on, lol.
Good info re headlights . I am a firm believer in having my headlights on in my car ant time of day. I regularly say to people “to light up your life, have your headlights on”.
Most new cars have DRLs in them Daylight Running Lights which are not as big as the headlights but are normally High Intensity LEDs. Which are very effective much better than the headlights and as they are on all the time you do not have to remember to turn them on
The problem with having headlights on in the daytime is that your taillights are also on. The authorities worried that the taillights could lessen the impact of brake lights in the day time, So daytime running lights are just on the front with no taillight power But I do agree with lights on in poor light and fog and at dusk.
I'm telling everyone here I know across the ditch - the music, the scenery and Ken coming across as one good solid guy - IMHO makes the top 5 trucking You Tube sites in the world. The Australian Tourism Board should be buying/using these, love all the cool small towns too. Thanks Ken !
Hey mate, fantastic to see you pulling double train up to brizy, have a great trip bud, hope to catch our trains coming across Nullarbor soon🤙 take it easy mate
Thanks for another very professional video. I have been following you for a year or so & I think this is the first time I have seen you tow a road train not a b double. Great video, music & drone footage. Cheers 😀
I really enjoyed the video you made ,the scenery was amazing and the t610 did well and you taking a road train back up north was awesome and I can't wait to see part 2 of this awesome roadtrain vlog keep on trucking 👍 🤙 🚛
Great video again, Ken! Loved seeing the small towns you passed through on the way. It did look so dry though. Drone footage was amazing to see the parched landscape. Also good advice re the headlights. I drive a black car so always have my headlights on when driving on the highways - black car, black highway, overcast day or night! Important advice! Keep safe :)
A triple dolly! I see the Fox depot yard in Wubin. Maybe your getting ready to pull triples up into the Pilbara? No more concrete standing, or boutique truck stops. Just heat & dust & distance, although they're pretty switched on along Magnet to Meeka. Cheers.
Happy Australia Day Ken ... something different on an A-double combo running between Adelaide to Brisbane good video & drone shots keep safe out there 🤙

G'day Kenny ... my daughter used to live at Yunta managing a sheep station household. Cooked for the shearers and other workers and believe it or not, met her now husband when he was on site repairing the dams.
Was doing a hot shot from a mine out Emerald way to Roxy Downs in a Ute and trailer and that section from Burke to Cobar nearly broke me. Was about 2am going through Burke, got about half way then had to pull off in a lay by( with 6 or caravans around in the bush tracks) to sleep got a few hours…..thought I would never see the end of those straights. Great vlog as always Ken, stay safe.
Thanks Ken, great video. Your camera angles, continuity and editing are really good. I know it takes time and at times may be frustrating, but it sets you apart and adds to the enjoyment.
Another great video. Excellent point on the headlights so many travellers are oblivious to just how hard it is sometimes in poor light or wet roads to see oncoming vehicles. I have had numb nuts coming at me in thick fog with their lights off, makes you wonder if anything is happening between their ears. Keep it safe.
We love your videos and always look out for you on the roads to hope one day say Hi. We enjoy the videos with oncoming trucks and passing trucks footage. You are a professional driver doing it right. 👋🏻🤙

Mate is their footage to come in the future of the Adelaide, Perth road train trip? Don’t answer me mate a mention in next months vlog will do . Kenny stay safe and keep on trucking😊
Thanks for another great video Ken. Really appreciate your efforts. If you're looking for something different to include, have you thought about showing what you do during the editing phase? I'd be interested to see what you do, how many clips you're working with, how you build the story and what's involved. You could include a few minutes of the editing process over several videos, say at the end. Just a thought. All the best.
