"Does jerry have to smack a coach?"
Rest in Peace, logo.
RIP to a true legend of the game of basketball
I have no Respect this kind of player that they want to act like they know it all .but the Producers are part of this behavior allowing this to show lock of Respect.it takes a lot to have Legendary Player like Jerry West to come forward and protect the integrity of the old school NBA that this era NBA would never ever be better.my Respect to you Mr. West .
I don't think you understand the context.
I agree Eduardo.
It ain't that serious bro, because JJ is a nice guy that usually have excellent takes on most basketball related subjects, but not this time..
@@jasonallen3678 but he’s become exactly what he hates the most. The “analysts in tv” who just says whatever comes to their mind. Bro criticized them so much and he’s one of those idiots saying the dumbest shit ever.
Redick is one of the most ONE DIMENSIONAL and BORING players I've ever seen play. Cousy showcased more impact, heart and talent despite being from a distant era. Redick has no business talking basketball when he has no respect for it's early years and pioneers. Cousy helped grow the sport so that spoiled nobodies like Redick could play.
The great Jerry West said it all “tell me what his career looked like” nothing else to say about that dude
I'm here today posting this on June 12, 2024 because Jerry West passes away in his sleep this morning. The accolades are pouring in from everywhere.
Great executive. Even greater player. Even greater human being.
Jerry West is the greatest basketball mind in the history of the NBA.
I knew it was about to go down when I saw Mr. West's left hand shaking.
Why I don't want JJ as Lakers coach.
as a fan of 45 years, it would be a lowlife move
Maybe its whats needed, to just fuck everything up enough so they can finally get their shit together, its like waking up after a horrible night of drinking and going "i gotta get sober"
JJ reddick needs to understand that if he played back then in the NBA, and hade to be a "plumber" or whatever job. He would hate basketball. Those old school guys didn't know basketball was gonna be as big as it is today, they got work done and played ball because they loved it. Didn't matter if they had a side job, even a family, or other goals. They made time to ball up, paid or not. JJ would hate basketball if he was paid anything less than a million.
They showed up and balled on probably like 4 hours of sleep, some players nowadays probably dont even want to get out of bed to go play period 😂
Jerry West , the Logo , one of the all time greats of the NBA
My favorite time watching the NBA was watch those players I grew up with. The Wests, Baylors, Robertsons, etc. Too many to mention here, but I looked forward to see them on TV or at the Cleveland Arena.
Jerry West was so effing good. He good do it all, a true leader, and had the same drive that Jordan did. Go look at the photo of him after the Lakers lost in the finals to the Celtics in 1969. His heart was ripped out. Nothing but respect for one of the Top 25 players ever.
Jerry West is every NBA player grandfather total respect
Rest in peace Jerry. Say hello to Bill and Wilt for us.
“Tell me what his career looked like? What… he averaged like 12 pts a game….?” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He exposed JJs whole basketball career💀
Hey JJ-
You couldn’t carry Mr. West’s jock in a suitcase.
It was not only very disrespectful, it was stupid-masquerading-as-smart, young-and-dumb-posing-as-old-and-bold.
🎯
A true legend and gentleman. And he is 100% on the money here, and expressed himself respectfully. RIP, the great Jerry West.
Jj is a modern day plumber 😂😂
only in the sense that every time he gets down to work, he shows his ass.
JJ is more of a Cabana Boy or Bathroom Attendant
Today's plumbers are youtubers and actors. How dare they work outside the NBA!
Except he probably can’t spin a wrench 🔧.
Dang. When the logo talks......we need to just listen.
Jerry west is one of the best player to play the game. He also played with some off the best like Elgin Baylor, John Havlicek, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell,Oscar Robinson Nate Thurmond, just to name a few
RIP Mr. Clutch
Imagine the points if we would have had that 3 point line.
Slam dunk on Reddick within ten seconds of interview. Damn Jerry. Yeah!
Not one player in todays league would stop Wilt Chamberlain from doing whatever the fuck he wanted to do.
JJ also said Jordan played in a watered down league. He's off
Damn thinking about Jerry west having to work a summer job to get by is crazy.
Astute Warrior Rest In Peace ☮️ 🇺🇸🖼🏀👂👂👂👂👂👂. Timeless plethora of capacity beyond NBA 🇺🇸🔥. JERRY WEST
Bob & Jerry are elites.
Anyone else catch him saying AJ instead of JJ at the end? #savage
No because JJ is a nobody and there IS NO respect on his name.
If you can make a 117 year old Jerry West cringe you must have said something to offend the man
It’s not hard to make a nostalgic old man grumpy
@@rafikz77 It's not nostalgia to speak the truth. West was correct in what he said if you actually listen to him.
Not really. West has nothing to prove. He just had a hard time trying to figure out how a journeyman who averaged 12 points a game can disrespect a hall of fame point guard.
So arrogant🤣
@@rafikz77 Honestly, casuals like yourself shouldn't even be allowed to voice your opinion. Jerry West is one of the greatest NBA players of all time, and has done more for the NBA than ANYONE else, period.
I agree with Jerry. When you look at the best players of JJ's era, I wouldn't put JJ in the top 50.
He barely cracks the top 100 of the 2010s lmao
Its funny that people think people in the 60’s and 70’s weren’t shooting from deep pretty much at all but, there definitely were in Pistol Pete Maravich and Elgin Baylor to name a few.
This was a time before the three point line was even created.
We had to work in the summers to support our families.🌌🕊️🌌
RIP To The LOGO!!!!!
I’m old enough to remember watching Jerry play. I was pretty young but I remember him. Also remember seeing Bill Russel. I haven’t watched NBA since the Magic and Larry years.
Jerry west took the high road and didn’t roast JJ, rather he just stated facts and asked an honest question? “What did he do to determine games?” Lol
Maybe West should have let it rip. The more JJ talks.. the more he shows himself to be a Punk/Ass. Pete Marovich played in West/era .. and Pete STILL owns the NCAA career points/scored record with an average of 44pts/game and 3667 pts/total in college... with No 3 point line to help... 44pts is almost 4x the average points Riddick scored. Shoulda been more skilled Mr. Punk Ass.
Rest In Peace Mr. West. Say hello to all of the NBA legends and Hall of Famers especially Mr. Russell and Mr. Chamberlain for us.🙏🙏🙏
reddick is a bum trying to get attention by insulting his betters. RIP logo.
There would be no magic, Johnson, Chris Paul, Stockton, without cousy
RIP Jerry West
0:39, I say that every time I see him on TV,. (ESPN has no clue)
Jerry West is a class act.
A former Laker head coach taking a shot at a future Laker head coach. RIP Mr. West
RIP TO THE LOGO
What a great mind was Jerry West ! It is timely to remind players today that they are lucky to make living because of market economy...
Haha!! Jerry West putting JJ Redick in his place
The reporter asked the question out of context
You know pretty much everything Newton knows, doesn’t make you a better scientist.
Love Jerry West. Left it all on the floor every damn time. The definition of "competitor".
JJ who?
JJ Redickulous
“ Tell me what his career looked like “ 😳 😂
I agree what the legendary Jerry West is saying JJ Redick was a good player but he needs to do his research not to disrespect the OGs of the NBA they were the ones that paved the way for the NBA if it wasn't for them none of these dudes of today would be here today
JJ finally found a platform where people care more about him then when he was on the court. He’s just enjoying a bigger spotlight than he never had during his playing career
This sums Reddick up for me:
When you think you're always the smartest guy in the room, but you never are
I don’t like reddick . Comes across as an arrogant prep boy. No lateral quickness and zero vert. Just like mr.west said he was an amazing athlete by any era standards. There used to actually be tough white guys in the league who could ball. Reddick is nothing more than a shooting specialist
It's not a comparison between the two. If JJ played in the 60's he'd average 30.
@@billpap.9669 JJ would have to play by the 1960s NBA rules and no three-point line
@@billpap.9669 jj reddick not existing period without that era he wouldn’t have been given a chance period he a bum
@@billpap.9669 stop the cap he not gonna hug u dude

If you cant fathom the fact that role players in today's nba would dominate in the 60's
You havent been watching games lmao
RIP Zeke from Cabin Creek, bka The Logo🙏🏿
Firemen and plumbers play great defense. You will feel every hit.
Thank you for this Jerry
Greatness Legend
I would never say anything about the old school era , just think that they played a season & after that , they had to get a job so they could barely work on they game
The problem with that is that today's players ain't got no fundamentals, comparatively. The older guys far exceeded today's players in fundamentals .
RESPECT 🎤💥
Jerry West and Bob Cousey would've taken JJs lunch everyday had they played in the same Era. JJ Redick doesn't even make the top 500 players ever. So there's always that.
WTF?? He certainly does
@@billpap.9669 you another preppy suburban boy
RIP Mr. West. He absolutely murdered little JJ on his way out.
JJ the ringless bum was the plumber and firemen of his era. He has no awareness whatsoever
When Jerry started rubbing his forehead.... i knew right then in there JJ was gonna hear it......😂😂
Rip goat
When I was a kid in the 60's I collected sports cards. They always listed the player's off-season job. Some were farmers, some construction workers, some factory workers. Try to find that now.
