Joe playing Homage, to some of the great's. How Many songs, can you hear sampled in this cut? I caught at least 7 different songs. Joe, One the Greatest natural guitarist ever.
I'll have to listen to it again to hear more, but I for sure caught Frampton, ZZ Top and a variation of King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid Man"--that last the part that impressed the guys so much of the guitar and bass playing together.
This was recorded in 2005 with Joe's original 3-piece when he was just 28 yrs old. They were an awesome trio. Check out 'The River' from this same show for some awesome slide playing.
I had a very early teenage Joe Bonamassa at one of my first festivals in Ontario Canada, in the super early 90’s! It was his very first time playing for thousands instead of hundreds. Now, All I want is his guitar collection! Loving your reactions! (producers ears!) Peace
That part when they were playing in unison was from prog legend's King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid Man" track 1 off their 1969 debut album "In The CourtOf The Crimson King".
I think this is earlier than the stuff you have already seen. This German concert was from 2005, and also has covers of songs by Jethro Tull, Yes, and Blind Faith. To see him starting out, see the 10 minute 1991 segment on Real Life with Jane Pauley, which shows him jamming with B.B.King when he was 13.
The Bass Player is Eric Czar and he is one of the best on the Planet. Kenny Krame is the Drummer. This trio was the best lineup Joe ever had as a three piece Band. He has only gotten better and better since 2005 when this DVD was done. Always has the very best Musicians in his bands and rotates a lot of them in and out. Got to be a spectacular Musician to play with Joe.
y'all Must go see him live! I will pay for tiks! I have seen him 4 times, never disappoints...also, as you have been informed, this is pretty old...watch some of his interviews or whatever, he is like Jekyll and Hyde, super laid back yet passionate mellow dude until he gets on stage...still amazes me
Joe's bassist is the spitting image of Jethro Tull's original founding member Glenn Cornick (R.I.P. April 23, 1947 - August 28, 2014). This band cooked
He looks different as this was almost 20 years ago. His vocal ability is so much better now. He had a vocal teacher and his vocals are now up to par with his guitar playing or at least close😂
This is a much older video of Joe. I’m a huge fan of his playing ability. His vocals are okay, but people really just wanna see him play that guitar. Check out a song called Third Degree, it’s Joe with Leslie West from Mountain RIP 🙏.. They are killing it. I think it was Leslie’s final album. Killer Album BTW
This was the best era of Joe, it's a shame he had to ditch this lineup because they rocked out! It's a whole different deal now. I miss that intensity and fire these guys had together.
some joe to check out.bridge to better days.different shades of blue, ghost of macon jones, lazy n stone cold w/steve barnes,no good place for the lonely.
Aloha gentleman if you want the real deal Rory Gallegher acoustic or electric live in the 79s early 80s . And if you like start it with live sSHIN KICKER. OMG. . JOE TRUES A LITTLE TOO HARD TO BE LIKE GUYS LIKE RORY. RIP. STILL ROCKING
You guys play good music but you fail to play the finest, most incredible progressive rock ever to come out of the USA - Kansas. My favorite band ever. If you want some great suggestions, just ask. PLEASE!
This dude puts on a hell of a show. worth seeing.
Gosh he was younger here .
You gotta check out Lazy with Jimmy Barnes! Absolutely epic studio!
Yes tonite live! Bonnamassa house for his guitars!
The young Joe, some of his early stuff is so sweet.
The bass player was killing it!
I just saw him in concert in Mississippi,so great I cried
Wild I loved it, thank you.
That was awesome! I'm going to have to check out more of their music.
He’s younger here.I saw him about seven years ago in Richmond. He’s a virtuoso, great technique and he has gotten so much better now.
This whole album is amazing The River is epic. He's in his 20s here.

Yes I caught several samples in later part of this. I loved this entire performance. He’s got crazy good skills.
I'll have to listen to it again to hear more, but I for sure caught Frampton, ZZ Top and a variation of King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid Man"--that last the part that impressed the guys so much of the guitar and bass playing together.

Joe Bonamassa TV, interviews, videos it’s all good.

Joe 'cool' 😎 🎸is on fire 🔥🔥🔥 here. Love your reactions.
Just Cookin’🎉
Hey my dudes. Finally, more Jpe. Thanks. Until next time stay well and poppin for fresh
I don't know if you guys noticed but that's a ZZ TOP riff at the end and then a Peter Frampton riff ending with a Eddie Van Halen riff.
Don't forget the King Crimson "21st Centuery Schizoid Man" tribute playing with the breaks.
Joe shreds. 🥁☘☮
Great musician😮
No Good Place For The Lonely is a killer tune from him
great song one of my favorites
Mixed in a little Waitin' for the Bus (ZZ Top) near the end.
A little Frampton after that
A little bit of King Crimson near the end too...🔥
Am i hearing some 21st Century Schizoid Man? 🔥
I liked this iteration of Joe's band the best. Kenny and Eric were killing it.

Get first song warmup for this concert yes indeed
That bass player is pretty awesome.
Who is he?

Paid a lil Homage to ZZ Top at end. You guys need to check out ZZ live at Rockoplast. They were on fire there Incredible live show!!!!
A little Frampton “Do you feel like I do” after that.
Joe always had it. I also like his voice in these earlier days, nice and rough. Works better with his jammin
Nothing that Joe does is below the level of awesome.

by chance have y'all seen him in his other band, Rock Candy Funk Party? Oh yeah, Joe goes places....
Yes Mr Bonamassa
Guitar God.... think of this he toured with BBking summer he was 13! So many amazing collaboration with other greats.
❤😊👏
At 7:30 into the clip, Joe is showing us a lot of King Crimson flavor!❤
Joe is paying tribute in a few parts of the song, like the end was some Peter Frampton.. before that was ZZ Top.. Joe is one of the very best!
JoeBonamassaTV
Ktba presents 47 years of the blues
4pm tonight!!!❤
Next Bonamassa track HAS to be Black Country Communion Song Of Yesterday LIVE ,Bonzo's Kid !
The end sounds like an homage to "Do You Feel Like We Do" by Peter Frampton.
This was the best era of Joe, it's a shame he had to ditch this lineup because they rocked out! It's a whole different deal now. I miss that intensity and fire these guys had together.
Sounded like ZZ Top riff thrown in along with Peter Frampton
Progressive Rock
Joe Bonamassa - Guitar and vocal
Eric Czar - Bass
Kenny Kramme - Drums
some joe to check out.bridge to better days.different shades of blue, ghost of macon jones, lazy n stone cold w/steve barnes,no good place for the lonely.
Sounds very much like Robben Ford here, especially the intro.
peter framton ending.
ZZ Top and Peter Frampton at the end.
and King Crimson shortly before this
I think this is earlier Joe because his voice is not as strong. He took voice lessons and now his voice has twice the power. That slap bass is…..wow!
Wish him and SRV could have jammed together
Borrowing some ZZTop and Frampton! I love it!
Check him out with Beth Hart doing I'd Rather Go Blind
Anybody notice the Robert Fripp shoutout 7:48

I saw Joe in a bar for $5 at this time…

On a different note, looking foward to Black Sabbaths 5th Album Sabbath bloody Sabbath and title song, just saying lol!!!
Child prodigy my butt...he's gotta be like 50😉
