The girl singer is Mahalia Barnes from Australia. Joe did a couple of collaborations with her dad Jimmy Barnes . Check out Lazy & Stone Cold. You won’t be sorry. Thank you Dave Bzen…you always have such good recommendations.
Thank you for identifying Mahalia Barnes. I have followed up on that here on YT, and she is so very talented. I also appreciate your compliment. I will do my best to live up to it.
Let The Good Times Roll and Joe does everytime he picks up a guitar. Opening up for BB King when he was 12, Joe has gone on to become one of the greatest living bluesman. This is such a joyous spectacular performance. The instrumention is so tight and clean, the vocals sharp and Joe's dynamic carressing of the guitar beyond perfection. Stellar performance. Great reaction Harri. Wonderful choice Dave. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦
The "Three Kings" comment was referring to that tour, a tribute to the "Three Kings" BB King, Albert King and Freddie King. Nice job with the reaction my brother.
This was from the three kings tour. BB, Freddie and Albert. Joe opened for BB King the whole Summer when he was 12. BB took a real shine to Joe and Joe opened for him on and off for years. You'll be great if you go over to Joe's channel and check out a couple of the songs that just happened at the Hollywood Bowl where he performs with an entire orchestra and his band.
Joe was a child prodigy. He's an independent artist and has an extensive guitar and amplifier collection. An incredible guitar player! Many have suggested that now 15 yr old Taj Farrant play with Bonamassa. They met prior to one of his shows and hung out together a bit. Joe does this with talented guitar players. He gave Taj's dad some business advice and they enjoyed the show. It was announced later that Taj is one of the acts that will be performing at Joe Bonamassa's blues cruise next spring. Taj is being recognized by several musicians in the industry because he's just an incredible guitar player. He will be opening up a few shows for guitar great Buddy Guy. Taj recently was the special guest star performer at the 40th anniversary celebration for the release of Prince's Purple Rain. Taj had the opportunity to record in Prince's recording studio and listen to some of Prince's unreleased music in the vault. Taj opened the show at the State Theater in Minneapolis for Morris Day and for Prince's band NPG. He performed Purple Rain with NPG and he also performed at Paisley Park the next day. Taj has the distinction of being the only performer not associated with Prince to perform Purple Rain at Paisley Park. His rendition of Prince's The Ride is so good! It's incredible but when Taj performs Gary Moore's song Parisienne Walkways it's unbelievable! Taj also sings and writes music too. 6 #1 songs on iTunes blues charts in the past year for his upcoming album. I love seeing real musicians playing real music unbelievably well! The new generation of blues/rock musicians like Taj, Kingfish and Marcus King!
All of the ladies in his band are amazing singers. Check out "If Heartaches Were Nickels" - Live At The Hollywood Bowl With Orchestra. Jade McRae knocks it out of the park
He currently has 16 studio albums to his credit. I would recommend going to see him b4 he gets old (You will not be disappointed!). JB will be eligible for the Rock-N-Roll HOF in 2025 and I would be very surprised if he is not an early inductee. Just a few must-listen suggestions: Trouble Town/ Blue & Evil/ Midnight Blues/ U Upset Me/ U Left Me With Nothing But The Blues/ Breaking Up Somebody’s Home/ Angel of Mercy/ Redemption/Just Got Paid. I always enjoy your reactions Harri,TY.
The fire dept was called in after that song was over to put out his guitar! His whole band is phenomenal to say the least. So sad we lost his bass guitar player a while back, Mr Michael Rhodes, RIP my man!
Singer is Mahalia Barnes. Her voice is just as distinctive for a woman as her father Jimmy Barnes’ is for a man. She and Joe recorded “Riding with the Kings” together with both as lead singers.

The three girls are Aussies: Jade McCrae, Mahalia and Juanita Tippins. Jade stayed in the US and still works with Joe I believe.

Jo Bonamassa and Warren Haynes doing "Feel Like Breaking Up Someones Home" is phenominal. I wish you would react to that
B B King would be proud

Louis Jordan first recorded this song in 1946. Along with “Caldonia” it’s one of his signature songs.

"Joe rules!"
You want to hear a good song by this guy still got The blues for you
BB King was his idol and he played with him when Joe was 12 YEARS OLD.
Obviously BBK was more like a mentor to him as i see it. 👍
The three 'Kings' Freddie, Albert and B.B. Their music on this tour. Maybe the best of all time?
he's coming your way spring of 2025...5 UK dates
DON'T DARE MISS IT!! Shame, shame if u do.
