I REALLY love the looks of this cowl. Seriously, who knew a much bigger hook would give such a beautiful, cozy texture. Thanks Susan…I’m DEFINITELY making a few of these for gift giving. 🙏😋 Bless you and Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Hi Susan, thanks for this lovely tutorial. I am having trouble joining the chain without twisting it. Will this matter if I keep crocheting and ignore the twist? Thanks😊
I love this, and the Laid Back Lace wrap. Honestly, I like all your shared projects. How did you get the plastic hooks smooth? The seam where the plastic was joined, snags my yarn. I managed to smooth out my Q hook from Red Heart(had it for years). But the boye plastic P, Q, and S hooks, are of a different plastic. I am afraid to sand them. In the current condition, they are not usable. Any advice would be appreciated. I ordered a 12MM aluminum from Amazon. But I really want to make this lovely cowl. Thank you. Blessings 🕊 💕 🕯 😇 🙏 💚 (love how you incorporate "9" into your work. 🙏)
Thank you! 💗 I love Clover hooks and I use Clover or Susan Bates hooks most often. I have a few Boye hooks too but they are not my favorite because of the printing on the thumb rest. I hope you love your project!
I'm surprised how lacey the yarn gets using this massive hook ! It's very pretty and those are some of my favorite colors, too. Susan, did you make your Santa hat ? I've been to Colorado years ago in the winter and the snow is so powdery, very different from the icy slopes in New England.
My twin sister Karen made my hat on an Addi knitting machine. She made them for my whole family. Three small snowstorms are predicted for this weekend and we’re going to wear our hats when we choose our Christmas tree from the forest (with a permit, of course). I’ve never been to New England (besides NYC) but I hope to go someday! My brother lives in the Berkshire mountains.
@@prettypeacefulcrochet Your sister is talented, too ! What a fun idea to wear your hats while choosing your tree. The Berkshires are magical anytime of the year, but Fall is breathtaking. Merry Christmas to you and your family .☃🎄🎄🎄
I immediately grabbed some leftover Malabrigo Rios from a recent hat and joined in-- another beautiful meditative pattern. Thank you!
So glad i found you and your ideas! All are beautiful. 😍
The cowl is beautiful and I love the color!
I’m making one for myself! To heck with anyone else 😂. I LOVE it! Thanks so much for sharing! I live in Fort Collins, CO … cold as heck 🥶
I love it. Have to get a hook, so I can make it. Thanks for the pattern and video.
Wow 😍 something so beautiful from a simple stitch!
