I like all these videos a lot! They are the perfect blend of entertainment for purely based xennial. I have a pair of NWS linesman pliers and can confirm NWS tools are purely based. I also have experience with the original NUT CUP, but for details, you must ask my wife.
VBW (belongs to Stahlwille) Wera, Rennsteig (belongs to Knipex), Some Milwaukee are from NWS too. Inbus, Wbg (both from Breckerfeld Carl Walter Werkzeuge, (not Walter powertools they are from Salzburg Austria), BGS Vigor is Hazet Budget brand Proxon, peddinghaus, S+K
"Every time I look at these I think of Jolly Ranchers, and I kinda want to lick the handle. Is that wrong? I don't know." Brother, if that's wrong, I don't wanna be right. 👊💪
Pfrd in Germany makes some really dope abrasives and their files are top of the line. Their file handles are really basic, but the files work in the old wood handles I have so it's not an issue for me.
You missed out Wera, Stahlwille and Felo. Gedore is pronounced with a hard G, like Gidora, the Japanese monster! Elora was NATO military issue in Europe for a long time, lots of army surplus Elora (and Gedore) available on eBay UK.
@@ballinator Also, in german you don't swallow letters, so the "e" has to be pronouned. End-"e"s in german are pronounced like the "e" in Amerika. Ge-Dor-e
I have never heard of Elora. That is not a well known Brand here in Germany. Irwin/NWS are also not common here. Never heard of Heyco before. Ironside is crap from the supermarket. Wiha, Hazet and Gedore are really great Brands. You missed Wera
Heyco is garbage. Nws is also not nice. Here in DE, we only User Gedore, Hazet, Stahlwille, Wiha, Felo, Knipex. Elora is an Old Company, the dont do innovativ stuff since 1980 anymore. Oleasy say "K"nipex. Unless it sounds like a chipmunk or an cleaning Treatment...
Wow. Thanks for the feedback. Sad to hear about Elora. Their wrenches are so sleek. The "K-nipex" vs "nipex" pronunciation debate is huge here. Thanks for the clarification.
Stahlwille is another German tool manufacturer. Good stuff based on the very small number of Stahlwille tools I have.
Thanks. Another brand to look into.
If I ever get so lucky that I have the money, I’d have stahlwille, wera and hazet full catalog.
That’s what I dream about when I go to sleep.
9:39 Hazet is a premium brand and is known as the Snap-On of Germany. They are expensive, but they are the best.
Very chad drip based
Thanks. Someone gets it.
7:47 this looks like a Felo (German brand also)
I think you're right. Looks like a Felo rebrand. Now I know where to get more of them. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll go without the nut cup details for now.
I have that Halder nylon-tipped steel punch! I use it a lot at work more often than I thought I would. Very awesome, very useful tool.
It's a neat little tool. Glad you're enjoying it too.

Thanks for the info!
Gedore are great tools, used them for 40 years, in my main work. Peace brother.
Thanks, man.
I no longer buy German tools ever since I can’t physically check the oil on my combination wrenches. I have to rely on a sensor… smh
LOL. Nice.
Subscription based handles

Thanks for noticing that.

Thanks! I'm planning on doing a video on Pferd files at some point in the future.
@@ballinator niiice! BTW they do have US based distribution as well.
The Monster hard wire cutter is probably made by Orbis.
Thanks for the info.
Orbis belongs to Knipex
Great vid. Thx!!!
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the info. I didn't know Elora was a NATO supplier.
it says "china" under the amazon listing i found for the wiha chip lifter unfortunately. Dang I wanted that
Might get the wera
The Wera version looks good. Seems to be made in Czech Republic.
Gedore is pronounced with a hard G, as in "garden" :)
Got it. "Ga-Door" Thanks for the info.

Perfektenschlag! lol
Danke, man.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I need to check out Wera some more.
I always buy German-marked hand tools at estate/garage sales. I also really like the ones marked West Germany👍👍
Same here.
Heyco is garbage.

I disagree about Heyco. Also you forgot to mention Witte, Halder and Kukko in the good category. NWS is a mixed bag, but has some good stuff.
What is a “based” tool?
It's a tool that is unique. The uniqueness puts them a step above regular tools. They also have a pH level above 7.
Ever go full Star Trek and get white girl Picard on some 40oz?
You're gonna have to translate that one for me..
It’s pronounced Kneepex not nipex
Thanks. I think I got it right in the next video.
