I'll make this quick for you dude...Ismael died and never established a priesthood in the earth in scripture. NEVER. Ismael was never declared to be a high priest in the earth in any scripture. NEVER. Melchizedek? Aaron? Those were high priests recognized and declared BY GOD in scripture. Of the Messiah it was written "thou art a high priest FOREVER after the order of Melchizedek" that priesthood will NEVER be changed and ONLY that high priest, Messiah, is the author of salvation. ONLY that high priest, Messiah, is capable of making an atonement for sin on your behalf. Wanna know WHY the prophet of Islam wants to skip over the cross and pretend it didn't happen? Because he KNEW if the story of the cross is told, that is the atoning sacrifice that makes Jesus the LEGITIMATE High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. The prophet of Islam had ZERO ability to receive offerings and offer a sacrifice to legitimize his claim as high priest, so now he just says salvation is free and there IS NO atoning sacrifice needed. That makes the prophet of Islam false with his teaching about salvation and forgiveness of sins. The high priest was ALWAYS the selected mediator by God to offer a sacrifice on both HIS behalf and on behalf of the people. So, in conclusion? The prophet of Islam had ZERO atonement for HIS sin and he offered ZERO atonement for YOUR sins that was accepted by God. Class dismissed my friend.

@@becbarr13 also, the redeemer of Israel and Light of the gentile had to be a kinsman redeemer to fulfill prophecy, which would've come through a descendant of Abraham AFTER the law of Moses was given, and that would've only included Isaac because Joseph and the Hebrews were a separate tribe by that point. Ismael had moved on, died, and started a separate lineage and nation of people by the time the law of Moses was given. The descendants of Isaac, and not Ismael, were given the law of Moses so it had to be fulfilled through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” - Genesis 22:2 And that settles it. It was Isaac that God asked Abraham to sacrifice, NOT Ishmael!
False because you Ishmael was the first son of Abraham and here you stated the verse that says sacrifice your only son whom you love there for it couldn’t be Isaac cause he was the second son so that’s actually false and it was Ishmael who Abraham was to sacrifice אַדִיר לוֹחֶם
Qxvac Khouna You didn’t read the verse fully well... God made it clear by mentioning the name of Isaac! If you want you can put Ishmael’s name in there, but you cannot change history. Thanks anyway.
9:40 - Also according to the Bible in Genesis 25:9, Ishmael was there to bury his father Abraham so Abraham never banished his son Ishmael. The author of Genesis made a mistake when he or she wrote that Isaac was Abraham's only son in Gen 22:2.
Its not a mistake. It is to communicate the idea that for the purposes of God's promises to Abrahams children, Ishmael has no portion in it. He is giving a blessing. But he is cut off from special inheritance God had promised to Abraham's descendants. Issac is effectively an only child.
@@phun1901 Is that the same with those who do not keep God's Covenant that those are also cut off from God's people? I.e., christians who do not keep the covenant in Gen 17:14.
@@nottinghamislam Yes in a way. Those who perist in ignoring the New Covenant will be cut off. The requirements of New Covenant are to do with the heart, not just external rituals. The Old Covenant was helpful in exposing the sunfulness of mens hearts. The regulations of the New Covenant are actually much more difficult, they are concerened with true holiness of the inner-most being. Only with supernatrual help can people follow the New Covenant. If you compare the 10 commandments with Jesus' sermon on the mount (Matthew 5) you will see what I mean, that what Jesus taught was actually more difficult, more deeply concerened with the heart. If you read all of Colossians 2:6-19 you will better understand the relationship of the Old Covenant to the present time. This is one of the letters Paul wrote to the church in Colossae. Verse 11 and 17 in particularly address circumscicion. The circumsicion of the flesh is now replaced by the circumscion of the heart, done by Jesus. The circumscision of the flesh was only a shadow of what God truely requires for holiness. Other chapters you can read about the Old Covenant and its relation to the new are Acts 15, Galations 2, Romans 4 & 7
Isaac was his only legitimate son. Ishmael was his son with Hagar, which was Sarah's servant. God promised Abraham a son, but Sarah thought it was taking to long for this promise to come true. She persuaded Abraham to lay with Hagar, this is how Ismael came to be. A few years later (12), Sarah gave birth to Isaac...thus fulfilling God's promise. Ishmael is the product of operating outside of God's will or doing things your own way. When God promises something, we can bank on it. It just might not happen according to our timeframe.
The Torah says Isaac. Jesus is a descendant of Isaac through Mary. Ishmael was the child of the slave woman. Muhammad wrote this after the Torah was established. How do you know Muhammad didn't change it? The story narrative is the Bible is to show that God will provide the sacrifice for sin. The slave woman represents slavery to sin...the free women's child hold the promise of freedom from sin through Isaac. The barren region represents barren land which represents lacking living water which is Jesus Christ.

Islam came after christianity, so any changes to the story of Isaac& Ishmael happened during the writing of the Coran. Isaac was the " promised son" because he ought to be born from Abraham & Sarah, the promise was not made to Hagar. Also, the sacrifice of the son Isaac ( the promised one) was a picture or a revelation to what was to happen way way later: God the Father was going to sacrifice His only begotten son Jesus so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have an Eternal life ( Bible, John 3:16) I know Muslims believe in Jesus as a prophet but i wish they could believe in Him as their Lord& savior. A lot of Bible messages in the Old Testament told by various prophets ( trough revelation) were talking about the coming of jesu on earth to save Humanity, to reconcile humanity with God. May the light , love and grace of Jesus be on all of you searching for the truth.
I am a Christian, but I have long known of the relationship between Isaac and Ishmael and Christianity and Islam. It is not a stretch for me to realize that the God of Abraham is only one "being" since to my knowledge Abraham only worshiped one God. It is sad that the wolves in sheep's clothing that Jesus warned us about have so divided us as people as to think it has to be us or them. I beg to differ, but then, I'm not trying to scare you into sending me your tithes lol! I think of Muslims as my brothers and sister just as I do other Christians. I may disagree on some things, but then, even in Christianity we have dozens if not hundreds of "denominations" that don't agree with each other. I think it's time we sit down and start talking to each other and realize that we have much more in common than we have differences. The Bible teaches us that God made ALL of us. Much respect to this man for approaching this in a fair a balanced way. We need more of that from both "sides" and less propaganda. Bottom line, let's just be kind and respectful to each other. How hard is that?

this is really good! :) ..... the "dream" has meaning. Sarah became jealous of Hagar & forced Hagar to flee. Abraham was upset & didn't want sweet Hagar to be alone... same with His son..
A key point not mentioned is Isaac was promised by God and the reason why Isaac was described as Abraham's only son. The birth of Ishmael came about because Sarah took matters into her own hands and offered her slave Hagar to bear children for them. At no point was Hagar a wife of Abraham. Historians have studied Abraham's travels and they have determined that Mecca is too far south of his known routes.
then why does the Bible say God protected Ishmael? Remove your bias, and let them both exist as Abrahams sons because that’s exactly what they were. There is too much at stake Jewish, and Christians for Ishmael to be the inheritor..I was raised in Christ, but if you can’t see the evils done by your own you’ll forever be blind 🙏🏽 remove your bias, and you too shall be free from man’s control my brother!
@@SyntheticVibespromo I'm not putting down Ishmael. But, he wasn't given the same privilege because Isaac was promised. Because of Abraham's faith, God promised that Ishmael would father a great nation, too. But, Ishmael was the product of Sarah taking matters into her own hands for Abraham to have a son. Don't worry. Despite their promises to be faithful, the Israelites failed on many occasions to live up to their promise.
@@MsJfraser if you believe God favors one over the other, or is it possible that’s what we’re told? If I told you God favored my son over my son out of wedlock today, and that even though my son wasn’t born in marriage that he is somehow no longer the heir the courts would have a hard time letting that slide…why wouldn’t they claim that someone who is of their descent is given the authority by God? The question you must ask yourself is what God? The true God, and not the demiurge, has no need to intervene. He doesn’t ask his people to sacrifice their children, or kill other people. It’s wrong no matter how you try to justify it. We no longer accept prophet’s, or claims of God allowing things that are strictly against its doctrine. Why do we accept it from then? Remember it’s a war not between flesh and blood but against the municipality’s that rule in heaven. We are enslaved to people we allow to have divine intervention over us 🤷🏽♂️ the true law of God is love.
@@SyntheticVibespromo You're misunderstanding a key element in that scenario: one son was through the wife taking matters into her own hands whereas the second son was through a promise. Which of these would be more important to the person who made the promise? For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Paul wrote this to the church at Galatia, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.".
The argument between christianity and Islam is never ending; never coming to a final conclusion. It’s such a head ache. This will go on till the end of time.
I think the whole beauty of Ishmael's sacrifice is that he submits to the will of God, as opposed to Isaac becoming an unwilling sacrifice as told in the Bible. This to me makes sense as Islam is the submission to God and his will, so from a symbolic point of view it all makes sense. And it especially does so, when you consider that the Prophet Muhammed himself is a descendent of Ishamel.
Yes that makes plenty of sense Ismael was so significant to the problem I meant promise to Abraham ..it is greater then Isaac .So the Jews made up stories and corrupts the Torah .they didn’t have as many prophets and the say the had ..they claimed many fake miracles . I’m a follower of the Bible and when it says in Genesis 22 the reason why he says take Isaac your only son is because by that time Ismael and Hagar had been sent away. And the reason why it says it again later in the chapter is because God made it clear before that the covenant would be only with Issac so he’s the only son that issac has that is worthy in the eyes of the lord to take on what the lord wants from his descendants. That’s what I get from it.
What about the other sons of Abraham? For He had more than two. Also isn't it that Ishmael was the only son for about 14 years. And Isaac was also the only son in the Household for about 40 years. When Ishmael and His mother Hagar had left.
*Blessing of Ishmael* God in the Bible asserts the blessing of Ishmael’s descendants in more than one verse as shown: Genesis 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you : behold, *I have blessed him,* and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant *between me and you and your seed* after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto you and to your seed after you. Genesis 21:13 And also of the son of the handmaid will I make a nation, *because he is your seed.* Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad. And the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth you , Hagar? Fear not. For God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Gen 21:18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in your hand. For I will make him *a great nation.* *What does a blessing of Ishmael mean?* As we see here, God in the Bible is talking about Ishmael being blessed, and that he will have a great nation. According to the Bible, a blessing means prophecy among his descendants. For example if we looked at Genesis 27 at the story when Jacob took the blessing from Esau and its result, we would realize prophets were raised from Esau’s descendants, but many prophets were raised from Isaac’s seed. And Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was raised from Ishmael’s descendants who are the brothers of Israel as the Bible tells in Deuteronomy 18:18. Someone might say that this prophecy was fulfilled in the verse which says that Ishmael shall have 12 sons as in Genesis 25:13-14. Actually if the blessing was just regarding descendants, then actually Esau had two great nations as well, not only the Edomites as mentioned in the Bible, but also the Romans as mentioned in the Talmud, and the greatness of the Roman empire is well known to everybody. So it’s clear here that the blessing is not related to a fruitful nation, otherwise we would have seen Esau blessed as well, but a blessing rather means that a great prophet shall come from Ishmael’s descendants. *Isn’t the covenant of God established with Isaac only?* It might be said that the covenant is with Isaac only as the Bible says: Genesis 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear unto you at this set time in the next year. Well, this was in the beginning, then it was transferred to Ishmael’s descendants, Jesus said to the Jews that the kingdom of God shall be taken away from them: Matthew 21:43 therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. Calling Ishmael as a fruitful, that he shall have a great nation is very clear in praising him, otherwise, if God knew that a false prophet came from his descendants where a great nation followed him, why did He describe this nation to be great? Also the nation Jesus told here doesn’t mean the Christian nation, God said that the sign of the covenant between him and the descendants of Abraham shall be the circumcision, which should be one of the fruits of the kingdom of God: Geesisn 17:10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee: *every male among you shall be circumcised…* 13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an *everlasting covenant.* 14 And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, *that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.* So it clearly tells that the sign of this covenant is circumcision, this covenant is everlasting and that the one who don’t circumcise breaks God’s covenant, which Muslims already do while according to Christians , Paul cancelled circumcision. Muslims are the real followers of Abraham. The Bible says: Genesis 12:3 and I will bless them that bless you, and him that curseth you will I curse: and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Muslims bless Abraham at least 5 times a day in their prayer. At the end of every prayer, a Muslim must say: “O Allah! send your Salat (Blessings, Graces, Honors and Mercy) on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as *You sent Your Salat on Abraham and the family of Abraham.* O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as *You sent Your Blessings on Abraham and the family of Abraham.* You are Praiseworthy, Most Gracious.” So if Muslims bless Abraham, the Bible says that God blesses who bless him, how come the followers of a false prophet be blessed by God?
@@ashanassoro6492 the problem is that the slave is a pagan, idolater. Because of this, God often warned the Israelites to marry only Israelis. But Abraham was stubborn and wanted children. Ishmael was chased away together with his mother Hagar at the of aged 13 years after he had mocked Issac during the weaning party that was held in honour of Isaac. Isaac was two years old then. Even more amazing is the fact that the Quran never mentions the name of the sacrificial child; amazing indeed considering how overzealous some Muslims have been in their attempts to prove that Ishmael, not Isaac, was that son:
Beauty of Islam: 1. Revealed knowledge (Qur'an/Original Torah/Bible) 2. Acquired Knowledge ( Logic/Reasoning/Science etc) If a thing is not explicitly defined by one knowledge, we take use of another one with previous one. And when we take, we find that son was no one but Ismael Pbuh.
@@mohdrabbani9976 use your logic too brother. Isaac was conceived miraculously to a barren mother and a very aged father, with the Quran likewise agreeing (cf. Genesis 17:15-17, 18:9-15, 21:1-7; Galatians 4:28-29; Surah 11:69-73, 51:24-30). Ishmael was conceived normally without the need of any miraculous intervention.
@@Alkes777 yes that’s why Issac is a called born miraculously whilst Ishmael is not. He was born becos of flesh desire and not patient enough to wait God’s promise, which one is more difficult for Abraham to sacrifice?
@@sho9214 Luckily the whole story is of course mythology anyway. Just the notion that sacrificing anything, human or animal, is somehow a thing is at the very least ridiculous.
The Bible was specific to mention that Isaac was the one whom Abraham was going to sacrificed at Mt Moriah. But in de Qur'an, de name of the son was not mentioned. It is obvious that Hagar and Ishmael were banished long before the sacrifice besides Isaac was the beloved and the covenant child. So it was obvious that de writer(s) of de Qur'an was the one who wanted to twist the story.
A just noticed as I listened to more of this video that a point this man makes is by saying that It is believed by Islam that Ismaël was the son to be sacrificed by his father Abraham. But if one "reads" the Christian bible (which agrees with the Jewish texts) for Genesis 22 it says; Quote; "Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” End Quote. Notice that it specifically says "Isaac"; your only son, Isaac"!! Where does Islam get the idea that it was for the other son; Ishmael?? Something is very wrong between these two religions.
When we Muslims do Kurbani every year for Eid Al Adha we do just the imitation of that what Abraham/ Ibrahim/Avraam Aleyhisalaam did ! We cannot have his IMAN/FAITH at all !

Adam was Muslim Eve was Muslim ! Prophet Muhammad was chosen by Allah/YHWH to be the last prophet and to complete the Islam that is the truth !
The bible tells us... The lord said to Sarah. Be patient, for I will give you a child. And from that child, shall come forth a great nation, which I " the lord" have promised Abraham in a covernant. Sarah doubted the lord, because she was too old to bear children. So Sarah said "Abraham, take my young hand maiden Hagaar and preserve thy seed" which Abraham did, and from that... Ishmael is born. (If we stop and look at it... Sarah and Abraham, disregarded the lords promise to them.... Abraham & sarahs decision to use Haagaar to preserve Abrahams seed was their decision alone.... Not the Lords. Eventually the lord fulfilled his promise to Sarah and she bore Abrahams true heir Isaac. (1) God choose Abraham to be father of all nations, through the blessing of the Abrahamic Covernant. (2) God choose Sarah, to bear Abrahams child. Remember ...Abraham and Sarah were husband & wife. Therefore Isaac is Abrahams legitimate and only heir. This is reflected when the lord calls for Abraham to sacrifice his only son. Isaac. (legitimate son through marriage). The Lord did assure Abraham, that Ishmael, too will be a great nation, and Ismael and his seed shall be blessed in abundance in the land the lord prepares for them.
So Dr. Ally is not contesting the rather pejorative translation from Hebrew of 'wild donkey of a man'? I have seen other definitions such as 'fruitful'.
Sarah saw the son (Ismail) whom Hagar the Egyptian had born playing. She said to Abraham, "Cast out that slave-woman and her son, for the son of that slave shall not share the inheritance with my son Isaac." Genesis 21:9,10 (Torah)
@@abdulrahmanshiker3357 ask a Jewish rabbi or a Jewish scholar who wrote their book. They said that the 'Dead Sea Scrolls' which was founded in 1947 at Qumran is older than the scrolls that they have today.
Dr. Ally is heavily discounting Abraham's faith in God when he questions the sensibility of sending Hagar away into adversity. Abraham always trusted and obeyed God. He already had God's word beforehand that Ishmael will not die, and would have a blessed destiny. As for sacrificing Isaac, that was the highest demonstration of his faith. He was not evasive in his answer, he was pristinely prophetic as is seen in how things turned out. Gen 17:18 KJV And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! Gen 17:20 KJV And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
Where the Quran is ambiguous the Bible is crystal clear. 1. Who was sacrificed? Isaac, the child through whom God said he would fulfill all of his promises (Ge 21:12), including blessing the whole world through Abraham's Seed (Ge 20:18). 2. Where was the sacrifice? On Mount Moriah (Ge 22:2), the site of the future Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem (2 Chron 3:1), the only legitimate place of sacrifice for Israel for the next 3000 years (Dt 12:5). 3. Why? To show that Abraham would not have to offer his son, nor would the children of Israel have to offer their sons (as illustrated by the Passover), but instead God would offer his own Son, who is the Seed of Abraham, the Seed of Isaac, the Passover Lamb, the Son of David, and the Seed of the Woman. It would be through this one great sacrifice that God would bless the entire world (Rom 3:25). Jesus: "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad." John 8:56

@@tazboy1934 Isnad is only needed for hadith, which were orally transmitted for 200 years before anything was preserved in writing, leaving serious doubts about their authenticity. In contrast the New Testament came to a literary society with a history of preserving sacred texts through a painstaking copying process. Thus, the New Testament is better preserved than the Quran and has no need for isnad, because all ancient manuscripts testify that it is well preserved. Yahweh told us in 1400 BC, (2000 years before Mohammed was said to be given the Quran) that he would send our Messiah from the Lineage of Abraham and his wife Sarai. Sarai didn't wait on God and arranged for Abraham to wed Hagar and they had Ishmael. Some 14 years later Yahweh made good on his covenant and Sarai gave Isaac his son Isaac who later had Jacob. Hence our God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Yahweh also told us in Genesis 12:2-3 that those of us that believe this will be blessed but those of us that don't believe this will be cursed. Ishmael was born according to the flesh, whereas Isaac was born according to the promise of God. What he has said about what the Bible says about Abraham is not actually true. Abraham sent out Hagar and Ishmael because he realized he was not patient and did not wait for God to send him and Sarah and Isaac as their son, so he took matters into his own hands when he and Hagar procreated. This is why Hagar and Ishmael were sent out, because they were not part of the promise. Please read Genesis chapters 16-18 in Holy Scripture.
First, your books were distorted by the priests, and they deleted everything that indicates the prophethood of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, as well as distorting the image of the Prophet Ismail, peace be upon him. Ismail, peace be upon him, when God chose from among humanity the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and made him the Seal of the Messengers. Our noble Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, informed us that he is the son of the two sacrifices, as he was ransomed by his grandfather, the Prophet Ismail, as well as his father. When his grandfather vowed to slaughter him, God ransomed him with camels. This tradition became a Muslim holiday called Eid al-Adha, meaning that God ransomed Ishmael with a great ram. On this blessed day, Muslims slaughter sacrifices in remembrance of the ram. Abraham's ransom with Ishmael's daughter, and this is what indicates the truth As for the books of the Torah, they distorted them and removed everything that indicates the greatness, faith, and prophethood of Ishmael and his grandson, the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.

For Christians, there are two versions, the Qur’an and the Bible, and I hope for a logical answer far from fanaticism. The Qur'anic narration says that Abraham saw a dream in a dream from God that it says that Sarah was the one who incited Abraham to expel Hagar and her son Ismail, fearing that he would inherit with Isaac. @@Bithia65- correct. Most of the Torah story about Ishmael and the sacrifice was fabricated. The Torah says Isaac was sacrificed after GEN17 but that is impossible. The Covenant was given as a reward for passing test. Even in the fabricated Torah version Isaac was a small child who supposedly gathered a large amount of wood. Impossible. When Isaac was born the test was already over. Isaac was one of the rewards for passing the test. The Kaaba was built (next to the miracle spring of water) by Abraham and Ishmael. Abraham would go to the Valley of Baca to see Ishmael. That is where the sacrifice test took place and a Ram is sacrificed at the Kaaba and has been every year for the past many thousands of years. During the time of the Prophet the horns of the RAM was one of the treasures kept in the Kaaba.
This should be interesting. Very difficult to compare Ishmael in the Quran and the Bible because Ishmael’s story isn’t really told in the small handful of verses about him in the Quran. The Quran actually points you to the Bible to read the story of Ishmael and you have to if you want to know who he was. Ishmael is only mentioned in 12 verses in the Quran compared to whole chapters in the Bible. If you want to know about Ishmael, you have to read the Bible!
Qur'an and Hadith go hand in hand. Hadith expounds on these stories of the prophets mentioned in Qur'an. Ishmael's story is further explained in Hadith.
Nottingham Islam yes, but then this shouldn’t be called Ishmael in the Quran but in the Hadith. And then that opens up so many questions about which Hadith are sahih. What is inaccurate about the Biblical story of Ishmael and where is this contradicted in the Quran and a indisputable Hadith? Nowhere that I know of, so we must accept the Biblical account as authentic and all we have. The Quran encourages us to read the scriptures that went before. We Muslims are commanded to do so in sura 4:136
U sure the bible account is authentic? Last I check, there were revision upon revision.. Watever works for our Christian cousins (I am not one to say anything against it) .. Its by Christians for Christians anyway.. Just saying that ur statement is not accurate to say that Muslims are told to refer to the bible as we understood it (the Bible book) as reference for 100% authenticity. These are stories and traditions.. We use quran as our yardstick so if the stories from tradition matched or bears resemblance, we can say its highly likely possible.. Either way its just stories..and some contain valuable lessons in it to teach us.

" Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love-Isaac-and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” - Genesis 22:2
And that settles it.

Also, the sacrifice of the son Isaac ( the promised one) was a picture or a revelation to what was to happen way way later: God the Father was going to sacrifice His only begotten son Jesus so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have an Eternal life ( Bible, John 3:16)
I know Muslims believe in Jesus as a prophet but i wish they could believe in Him as their Lord& savior.

@@WarandFlame This is so easy to understand I don't get why the Muslims don't understand this...
I am a Christian, but I have long known of the relationship between Isaac and Ishmael and Christianity and Islam. It is not a stretch for me to realize that the God of Abraham is only one "being" since to my knowledge Abraham only worshiped one God. Bottom line, let's just be kind and respectful to each other. this is really good! :) ..... the "dream" has meaning.
I'm not putting down Ishmael.

Great personality explains bueatifully God bless him with abundant with knowledge
*Blessing of Ishmael*
God in the Bible asserts the blessing of Ishmael’s descendants in more than one verse as shown:
Genesis 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you : behold, *I have blessed him,* and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant *between me and you and your seed* after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto you and to your seed after you.
Genesis 21:13 And also of the son of the handmaid will I make a nation, *because he is your seed.*
Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad. And the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth you , Hagar? Fear not. For God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Gen 21:18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in your hand. For I will make him *a great nation.*
*What does a blessing of Ishmael mean?*
As we see here, God in the Bible is talking about Ishmael being blessed, and that he will have a great nation.
*Isn’t the covenant of God established with Isaac only?*
It might be said that the covenant is with Isaac only as the Bible says:
Genesis 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear unto you at this set time in the next year.
Well, this was in the beginning, then it was transferred to Ishmael’s descendants, Jesus said to the Jews that the kingdom of God shall be taken away from them:
Matthew 21:43 therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Calling Ishmael as a fruitful, that he shall have a great nation is very clear in praising him, otherwise, if God knew that a false prophet came from his descendants where a great nation followed him, why did He describe this nation to be great?
Also the nation Jesus told here doesn’t mean the Christian nation, God said that the sign of the covenant between him and the descendants of Abraham shall be the circumcision, which should be one of the fruits of the kingdom of God:
Geesisn 17:10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee: *every male among you shall be circumcised…* 13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an *everlasting covenant.* 14 And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, *that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.*
So it clearly tells that the sign of this covenant is circumcision, this covenant is everlasting and that the one who don’t circumcise breaks God’s covenant, which Muslims already do while according to Christians , Paul cancelled circumcision. Muslims are the real followers of Abraham. The Bible says:
Genesis 12:3 and I will bless them that bless you, and him that curseth you will I curse: and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Muslims bless Abraham at least 5 times a day in their prayer. At the end of every prayer, a Muslim must say:
“O Allah! send your Salat (Blessings, Graces, Honors and Mercy) on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as *You sent Your Salat on Abraham and the family of Abraham.* O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as *You sent Your Blessings on Abraham and the family of Abraham.* You are Praiseworthy, Most Gracious.”
So if Muslims bless Abraham, the Bible says that God blesses who bless him, how come the followers of a false prophet be blessed by God?
Wow👏 very deep, thank you for this Alhamdulillah 🙏
Ismeal was not the promised son ,he was the son of salve woman
Any problem being son of slave
@@ashanassoro6492 the problem is that the slave is a pagan, idolater. Because of this, God often warned the Israelites to marry only Israelis. But Abraham was stubborn and wanted children. God soon proved to be right, and why such rules. Ishamel sexually abused Isaac. Laughing at him or playing with him mocking... mean sexual play. God orders Abraham to drive away Ishmael and the slave mother.
Ishmael was chased away together with his mother Hagar at the of aged 13 years after he had mocked Issac during the weaning party that was held in honour of Isaac. Isaac was two years old then. The Mt Moria sacrifice took place after Ishmael was already cast away. So the person concerned should have been Isaac (the only covenant child living with Abraham) and not Ishmael hear.

A highly respectable man. Great man full of wisdom.
Ismael is a description of our beloved Mohammad saw. Never Ismael direct or biological son of Adam.
Thank you sir & ma'am. May our Lord bless you always
Thanks so very much for speaking about this subject.
A just noticed as I listened to more of this video that a point this man makes is by saying that It is believed by Islam that Ismaël was the son to be sacrificed by his father Abraham. But if one "reads" the Christian bible (which agrees with the Jewish texts) for Genesis 22 it says; Quote;
"Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”
And he said, “Here I am.”
2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
End Quote.
Notice that it specifically says "Isaac"; your only son, Isaac"!! Where does Islam get the idea that it was for the other son; Ishmael??
Something is very wrong between these two religions.
Age factor. Isaac was only 2 at the time and was not able to speak clearly. No need to fight over it. Look at the facts please.

AND your point would be!!! Islam is the worship of the moon God, baal!!! I hate liers!!! So does the Father in heaven!!!

So Dr. Ally is not contesting the rather pejorative translation from Hebrew of 'wild donkey of a man'? I have seen other definitions such as 'fruitful'.
Sarah saw the son (Ismail) whom Hagar the Egyptian had born playing. She said to Abraham, "Cast out that slave-woman and her son, for the son of that slave shall not share the inheritance with my son Isaac."

@@abdulrahmanshiker3357 great question

Jews and Christians believe and Islam does not believe. Jesus Christ is coming back and will rule as the King of Kings for 1,000 years. There's not going to be any Islam or any other religion at that time. Only your relationship with Jesus Christ. Why not walkaway from Islam and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior who died on the cross without sin to pay off our sin debts. John 3:16, Romans 10:8. Jesus loves you. It's nothing to do with his will. Jesus loves everyone on Earth but hates the sin. God Bless you choose wisely Jesus is coming soon to Rapture the Christians off Earth. If Abraham was encouraged by Ishmael to give him as a sacrifice he wouldn't be called father of faith. It must have come from his own will
Ishmael was born according to the flesh, whereas Isaac was born according to the promise of God.

And now without hypocrisy, what is the novel that is the highest degree of humanity? And everyone knows that you believe that Jesus is the savior of humanity, the defender of humanity, and he is against all kinds of evil
Genesis 17: 4: As for Me, Behold, My Convenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
5: No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham ;for I have made you a father of many nations.
6: I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and Kings shall come from you.

Its by Christians for Christians anyway.. Just saying that ur statement is not accurate to say that Muslims are told to refer to the bible as we understood it (the Bible book) as reference for 100% authenticity.
