@@AK-47_but_gun Wait. People actually find thunderblight hard? Ngl I thought it was a joke bc yeah it's probably the *hardest*. Is everyone who plays Nintendo games just bad ?
Dread fixes the problem with guardians and gloom hands, the E.M.M.I can't be killed until the game wants you to, while guardians and gloom hands can be killed whenever, if you have skill of course
Worth to mention that in eternal darkness, if your sanity meter is full and you load a save, the game would make you think you accidentally deleted your save file An that is the worst jumpscare i have ever felt
Luigi’s mansions are probably the most unique horror games I’ve seen they don’t usually try to scare the player and have a silent or nearly reaction-less protagonist they instead try more to scare Luigi so you can laugh at him or yourself when you actually get scared too
Luigi's Mansion has some well-earned jumpscares. Like the one in 3 where about a half second after you see a picture on the wall of Luigi getting jumped by ghosts, exactly that happens.
I don't know who it was but there was some TH-camr angry about the two different variants of King boo because they're two different King boos there's evil King boo and there's just King boo
Metroid Fusion, Metroid Dread , Eternal Darkness, Zelda Majoras Mask fit the bill Metroid Fusion was made to be a Horror game on the GBA Eternal Darkness takes the cake however. That game tries to mess with the user no other
Metroid Dread came to my mine immediately, but hearing that guardian music out of nowhere makes me crap my pants. Also seeing gloom hands for the first time made my shart my pants. Therefore, it is definitely the Zelda games
While Kirby is mostly wholesome and not at all scary, I think some final bosses like 0 and 02 are pretty freaky. Not to mention if you dive into it's lore
One time my stepdad was player eternal darkness and he wasn't quite paying attention while he was saving and it eas like "DELETEING GAME!!" and he freaked out!
Metroid prime 2 echoes is way scarier than dread, Metal gear Solid the twin snakes had scary moments too.... like when mantis tells you about your favorite game by looking into your gamecube memory card and making your controller vibrate. Majoras mask is just very scary and ocarina of time's well dungeon is like link steps into a horror game. Earthbound is also pretty scary, and even the ending of Open Ocean 2 has some dark/mysterious unexplained creepiness.
Some would say the scariest game is Mario Teaches Typing; I find the floating head to be endearing and Martinelli does an excellent job with using that to humorous advantage, but to some it just comes off as really creepy.
Somewhat better, but you still need to do some mixing. I suggest muting the background music when using loud sfx to add detail...and that is glaring issue with these shorts that hasn't been addressed.
Remember when everyone thought TotK was gonna be super edgy and scary and then it turned out to be a boring and repetitive open world game where the main characters talk down to you? Good times.
definitely breath of the wild, nothing is scarier than hearing guardian music when you’re unprepared.
Or totk when you see gloom hands for the first time
My first play through of botw I heard the guardian theme and I just didn't really care I mean you just need one shield and *decent* reaction time.
until you can parry like a pro B)
Or facing thunderblight unprepared

The fact link screams when using masks in majoras mask is horrifying
BLUE COMMENT?!
@DIALAGGED he had a blue comment swear down like from tiktok
@DIALAGGED like when u definitely saw smth yk
WTF BLUE COMMENT?
Metroid Dread: “Am I a joke to you?”
Dread fixes the problem with guardians and gloom hands, the E.M.M.I can't be killed until the game wants you to, while guardians and gloom hands can be killed whenever, if you have skill of course
This, and Fusion. You don't know scary if you haven't played these two games.
The fact that none of the Metroid games were mentioned is a crime
What metroid game compares to Majora's mask in terms of Scariness besides maybe dread with the whole robot stabbing your face thing
@@treeman73272 let me guess, never chased by an E.M.M.I.?
can we at least give an honorable mention to metroid dread? that game had me screaming for my life a few times
Yes definitely
And Metroid fusion which is what inspired the Emmi and came before dread
dude metroid dread actually gave me anxiety
Did anyone else get scared playing Luigi’s mansion 2 dark moon as a child or was it just me?
It was just you
@@overthegardenwall7143not it wasn’t
As a child? How young are you to be able to say that i was 15 when i played that game
I would definitely have to say Metroid Fusion due to the Samus X and some of the eerie music the game has.
That GBA sound to the music just made it so much creepier I swear
Truly a wowie zowie jumpscare...
YOURE EVERYWHERE
I been wowed zowie’d
@@Purple_guy_83true true.
Metroid Dread showed me true fear
Worth to mention that in eternal darkness, if your sanity meter is full and you load a save, the game would make you think you accidentally deleted your save file

As a kid I got scared of the redeads from OOT but now even on my second playthrough of TOTK the gloom hands terrify me.
Metroid dread, I was too much of a coward to even get through the demo.
Hearing guardian music in BOTW is so creepy 💀
No Twilight Princess mention?
That game quite literally has a jumpscare before the 5th boss
The metroid and Kirby series gave me many nightmares as a child 😅
Ah, you must have encountered a Kirby final boss
Luigi’s mansion is really spooky in BREATH OF THE WILD.
Pikmin 2: Am I a joke to you?
LM3 is my all-time favorite game
It's Pikmin 2 because WATERWRAITH AAAAA
Happy Halloween! The scariest game is definitely the og Luigi's mansion game over screen was terrifying when I was younger
Metroid games usually always have a pretty tense and creepy atmosphere.
And body horror, eldritch horrors, stalking enemies
Eternal darkness: sanities’requiem
Since nobody brought it up, I would say the Game Boy Camera, for those who understand what I mean.
Mario wonder is definitely the scariest sometimes I can't tell if it's supposed to be a horror game 😨
💀
I was the 700th like, which is pretty kingdom
metroid dread. Never before have I been more scared then when I heared EMMI chase theme kick in
Ocarina of time has some of the scariest stuff. Dead hand, redeads, and that creepy bad guy music.
The ganon hands out of tears of the kingdom have given me nightmares every since I first saw them
Cant play/watch horror? I reccomend Killer Klowns from Outer Space (Movie) it isnt scary at all, just a little blood
Fatal Frame spooked me a couple of times
Metroid Prime.
Being a FPS game, anything is bound to jump scare you.
Kirby Lore makes any kirby game first place tbh
Metroid Fusion, Metroid Dread , Eternal Darkness, Zelda Majoras Mask fit the bill
Metroid Fusion was made to be a Horror game on the GBA
Eternal Darkness takes the cake however. That game tries to mess with the user no other
Metroid Fusion and Dread. These games, especially on a first playthrough, are scarier than most horror games!
I GUESSED HIS HOLLOWEEN COSTUME CORRECTLY
YOOOO I've got 3500 goobs in LM3 (you read that right, I'm a professional player)
That Piano that scared me as a kid from Super mario 64
Metroid Fusion when you hear SA-X Footsteps.
He didn't even mention metroid dread 😔
Metroid Dread came to my mine immediately, but hearing that guardian music out of nowhere makes me crap my pants. Also seeing gloom hands for the first time made my shart my pants. Therefore, it is definitely the Zelda games
luigis mansion 2 gave me one hell of a jumpscare curtisy of king boo
Earth. Bound.
Lethal company: play it NOW
Mario 64. Some of those are.. traumatizing
Majora’s Mask. I see you’ve met a terrible fate haven’t you?
Majoras mask terrified me as a kid and still freaks me out 😭
Bro thought he was an Elephant💀
While Kirby is mostly wholesome and not at all scary, I think some final bosses like 0 and 02 are pretty freaky. Not to mention if you dive into it's lore
"Its SPOOKY halloween time and I'm in a SPOOKY MOOD!" boi its not Halloween TIME its just HALLOWEEN
One time my stepdad was player eternal darkness and he wasn't quite paying attention while he was saving and it eas like "DELETEING GAME!!" and he freaked out!
Stopping kids from saying first part 39
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA MAJORA'S MASK
Metroid prime 2 echoes is way scarier than dread, Metal gear Solid the twin snakes had scary moments too.... like when mantis tells you about your favorite game by looking into your gamecube memory card and making your controller vibrate. Majoras mask is just very scary and ocarina of time's well dungeon is like link steps into a horror game. Earthbound is also pretty scary, and even the ending of Open Ocean 2 has some dark/mysterious unexplained creepiness.
Nothing can top off majora's mask there's absolutely no moment in the game that doesnt have some creepy bullshit
Obviously the game itself is far from scary at all, but that one level in Yoshi’s Crafted World… oh boy
Bruh forgot Metroid fusion
I think guy never played it in the first place. The amount of horror and dread that game has is insane for a gba game
@@theakiwar9118
Yeah good point
If you count Eternal Darkness Sanity’s Requiem as a Nintendo game, it is absolutely the scariest
No it’s Mario wonder, the jumpscare of realizing the games pretty short, only has 1 non-final-boss, and 2 worlds don’t have a boss
METRIOD DREAD IS THE SCAERIEST LOL I DIDNT SPEEL THAT RIGHT
Definitely wonder. Scary Ghost King Opera on swinging chandeliers in ghost house while on drugs
Tears of the kingdom gloom hands are scariest
I would say metroid dread is pretty scary
Gonna hard disagree, Metroid Dread gave me too many jumpscares
Giygas: *sad Giygas noises*
Got jumpscared at the end
Game Boy Camera. You know what I mean. Don't research if you don't want to have nightmares.
Majoras mask still gets my vote
Partners in Time is also kinda creepy
My life will be complete when cdotkom makes Minecraft videos
Some would say the scariest game is Mario Teaches Typing; I find the floating head to be endearing and Martinelli does an excellent job with using that to humorous advantage, but to some it just comes off as really creepy.
Pikmin or Kirby. Must be one of them
Super Mario 64 piano left the chat
It has to be botw becuz when u hear that guardian music and a laser aimed straight at your forehead
bro kirby is so scary it has eyeballs!!!11
Somewhat better, but you still need to do some mixing. I suggest muting the background music when using loud sfx to add detail...and that is glaring issue with these shorts that hasn't been addressed.
Mario 64.
All i have to say is
*piano*
Personally I think the totk depths early game is creepy to me
My man forgot about Zombie U
Probably Luigi’s mansion 3

So basically.. Eternal Darkness is Akursius Keep from Arcane Odyssey.
acnh is fucking scary to play past 7 pm bc tarantulas spawn and they scare me
The gloom hands
Absolutly KINGDOM NOT EILD
Soup also Cynthia or Gloom hands theme
I was subscribed! 100th comment
Very spooky kingdom
Yoshi's crafted world
I actually own the 3DS version of weigi’s mansion dark mood
The scariest game is pokemon’s gen 4 with its ptsd indiussing piano music
We do not talk about twilight princess
Remember when everyone thought TotK was gonna be super edgy and scary and then it turned out to be a boring and repetitive open world game where the main characters talk down to you? Good times.
