Also, introducing two hampsters- let alone 2 different species, is asking for a serious risk of an attack. It's like putting two territorial tigers in a cage and expecting them to be friends. Please don't put two hamsters together, they are very territorial and will fight till death if it comes to that. Also, the terrarium looks good, but it is way too small, hamsters should have at least 450, 500 square inches of floor space, if it's bigger, even better, this is probably not even half of that. And they should have deep bedding, a lot of toys and hiding places, a bigger wheel without holes which can hurt your hamsters legs. And food not in a bowl but scattered around the enclosure, it provides more brain activity, so less boredom. The terrarium looks pretty, I love the natural look, but it's not very efficient for a hamster 🙁
Please do not have more than one hamster in the same place as they are solitary animals and could severely injure one another or kill them! I also really recommend not having your cat near your hamster even if your cat doesn’t do anything to your hamster, cats are hamster predators and will cause your hamster a lot of stress. Stephan’s cage is also not the most suitable, even though it is a natural cage, hamster cages need to be at-least 450 square inches of floor space. The mesh/barbed wheel is also not the best as it can cause your hamster bumble foot, or get yours hamster’s foot stuck inside, resulting in it getting injured.
This is completely inappropriate - hamsters are solitary creatures, and can and will cause eachother significant harm. Additionally, the enclosure and wheel you have for Stephen are both far too small - *especially* the enclosure. Please do more research so you can provide Stephen a good home, I'm sure you want him to be as happy as possible!
This is cute but the hamster went into shock due to stress because the cage is too small for even one hamster and hamsters are not supposed to be kept together like he said in the beginning the hamster could’ve died in this video if you would like genuine hamster advice please check out Victoria Rachel she has great videos on hamsters bunnies and cats SlivkiShow if you’re reading this I love your videos but please go check out the TH-cam or mentioned because your hamster care could use some updating I love Stephen have a good day

I have no idea what you wrote but since its not the typical "OMG STEPHAN SO CUTE KAWAIII" it must be an advice on the proper care for hamsters. i wish he would listen and prevent harm to the poor hamsters
Wildly inappropriate. They could have easily gone for each other’s throats. They look cute but they can be vicious to other hamsters, especially two males fighting for a small amount of territory.
"we thought the same thing as you" Good that you were at least THINKING that two hamsters should never be kept in an enclosure with such a small floor space area! And that it's safest never to keep more than one hamster in the same cage.
This is all cute, but remember that these are hamsters, not humans, they don't have the same feelings as we do, and having to share your terrarium with another individual canot be good for Stefan. + presenting hamsters to a cat is not a good idea, you never know when the predator instinct will turn on and the cat decides to eat the hamster
@@lloyd081877 they might get well fed and taken care of and stuff but this type of hamster is in the wild always alone, except if it is with a female or male ,and even then they are only together for like a few days. But because of the names i am assuming these are both males. And male do not go together. So it might look like they are friends with eachother and with the cat, but there is still a big change that the will get tired of each other, and that they will fight until the other hamster get injured or even killed
This commenter is correct. Even if the cat is well fed that doesn’t mean that she will not try to play with the hamster. There’s lots of evidence of domestic cats being let out in the wild and killing native wildlife even when they are well fed. I also agree that hamsters should not be sharing an environment as well. Even if they are only in the same enclosure while being supervised. Showing them together like this in a TH-cam video may make others think that it is ok as well. It is not ok to house hamsters together especially in very small enclosures.
Adolf is a Phodupus cambelli (Cambells Russian dwarf hamster) you can se hes skinnier then Stefan While Stefan is a Phodupus sungorus (Russian winter white) (Fatter and more round then the Phodupus cambelli) Not the same species so they should not ever be together
This has got to be purposely made to piss off the hamster community. There’s just no way a person can be this dumb. The amount of careless and dangerous choices is unbelievable.
Guys, they don’t read their comments stop trying to tell them how bad their hamster care is because you’ll never get through to them. They’ll figure it out the hard way but at least they’ll figure it out at all (at Stephans though unfortunately)
This is such an awful idea. Hamsters cannot safely live together. I applaud you for initially doing research but it takes common sense to realize solitary animals should not have any contact with one another, especially if they're both males.
Always accessible veggies and sprouts are too much of a good thing for Stephen. Hamsters are not known for self-control around food. Also, are your questions in earnest, or are they just for engagement, and you have you already checked on hamster forums for answers? I can not understand a good or ethical reason to guess at consequences *_after_* having begun an *experiment*, instead of doing research *_before_*. And your anthropomorphic commentary is humorous and engaging...until critical thinking kicks in, and one realizes that it smooths over and distracts from ignorance or disregard for the meaning in your little pet's behaviour. Are the owners of Stephen and Adolf considering what is best for these little animals?
About 20 years ago my parents got me and my sister TWO hamsters, the store told them they were social animals. Went fine for a bit under a year, untill they faught. My hamster, white russian, had blood all over her… 😢 My sisters hamster suddenly started biting us as well. My parents were upset, but we seprated them and then had two cages. Now with internet and way more information available on hamster care, I don’t even understand why people still keep two or multiple hamsters… This is redicoulous…………
No no and no ! Hamsters are solitary animals, even if there is exceptions they cant be together in such a small cage. They will eventually fight to the death
hey there, you seem to care a lot for stephan but there is a lot that you're ignoring. ever since the start of this series many people in the comments have voiced their concern for stephan, yet you haven't made any changes at all to protect and properly care for stephan. you should first make stephan's home much, much, bigger, as hamsters in the wild need lots of space, and keeping stephan in that tiny pen is cruel. the metal wheel is also a big problem, as it can hurt stephan's feet, and clearly you have the money to buy a better wheel for stephan. the cat right in front of both hamsters should also be not allowed, as cats are predators of hamsters in the wild, and the fact that you introduced two different species of hamsters, is basically asking for one of them to be harmed, as hamsters are solitary. plus one of the hamsters isn't even yours. i have also seen in the comments that stephan may be a girl. please research about this and the other problems and pay attention to the comments pointing out your flaws please.
You’re like so bad at owning a hamster that it seems abusive 💀🥵😭 literally every video I’ve watched the comments are just FILLED with the things you’re doing that even amateurs would know could harm their pet.

NO. You are not listening and hearing out to us to what we have been trying to get to the proper care hamsters. They are very territorial and yet even sawdust is the most dangerous beddings for hamsters. You already know they are solitary animals why do you want to put them together in the first place? This is a very ridiculous act. The way as I am seeing they are mating, which means the other one might be a female not both male. Please reconsider to have hamster as your pet!

@@sleepyjo9340 More for the idiots who take what this guy says as gospel. I report the channel. It's all I can do. And you've said that to me one time. Others I'm sure multiple times. But you've only spoken to me once.
@@derpdadouch3654 the channels been reported how many times? Obviously right in the bin, since there's videos of people eating cats lol.
@@sleepyjo9340 No shit sherlock. Then what's the point of even commenting on this? Why waste my time and your time.
@@sleepyjo9340 I'm sorry for being an asshole with my response. I was in a bad mood, but that's no excuse for how I responded. I apologize for my response and I hope at some point youtube isn't run by bots who ignore blatant problems.
Uhm are you sure Stefan is a boy? It kind of looked like Adolf was mating and reached the finish line therefor he laid still for a little while....
Those wheels can break their legs.
Get him a bigger cage!
Hamster Caren alert!
But seriously I do agree, I also disliked that he kept covering it up, for example... "that's just how they communicate"
He doesnt care obviously all this is for making a video, experimenting with pets for views, wtf
I have never seen 2 hamster in the same enclosure not fighting
It's was a day, it'll only go down hill from here
STEFANS WHEEL IS TOO SMALL, IT CAN HURT HIS BACK :C
Okay. I looked it up. Russian Dwarves CAN be friendly with eachother, but there's a also a high chance of fighting.
They Don't get along together 💀😂
This is completely inappropriate - hamsters are solitary creatures, and can and will cause eachother significant harm. Additionally, the enclosure and wheel you have for Stephen are both far too small - *especially* the enclosure. Please do more research so you can provide Stephen a good home, I'm sure you want him to be as happy as possible!
This is cute but the hamster went into shock due to stress because the cage is too small for even one hamster and hamsters are not supposed to be kept together like he said in the beginning the hamster could’ve died in this video if you would like genuine hamster advice please check out
Victoria Rachel she has great videos on hamsters bunnies and cats
SlivkiShow if you’re reading this I love your videos but please go check out the TH-cam or mentioned because your hamster care could use some updating I love Stephen have a good day
No way somebody told you to watch over their hamster...
fr tho
None of this is right to do to hamsters
Also he abuses stephan
I have no idea what you wrote but since its not the typical "OMG STEPHAN SO CUTE KAWAIII" it must be an advice on the proper care for hamsters. i wish he would listen and prevent harm to the poor hamsters
Wildly inappropriate. They could have easily gone for each other’s throats. They look cute but they can be vicious to other hamsters, especially two males fighting for a small amount of territory.
I think we should call the hamsterium "hamsterdam"
Hamsters don’t live together! This wheel is bad!!
i havent forgotten iv missed i miss this content
i love the hansterarium
Give them a bigger cage, like 700 square inches of floor space or bigger. The wheel that you use is to small.
Never knew the brown hamster failed art school
lmaoo
We need a Cookiearium.
Yes!
agreed
No
I did not see two animals enjoying each other's company
This enclosure is way too small for 2 hamsters
Slivki you should build a bigger living space and a bigger house for your hamster.
"we thought the same thing as you"
Good that you were at least THINKING that two hamsters should never be kept in an enclosure with such a small floor space area!
I’m sure he realizes this. These animals look well fed and healthy. I highly doubt they have interactions that aren’t heavily supervised.
he knows but also cookie is chill 100% . even with the cockroach
Chuje muje dzikie węże
This commenter is correct. Even if the cat is well fed that doesn’t mean that she will not try to play with the hamster. There’s lots of evidence of domestic cats being let out in the wild and killing native wildlife even when they are well fed.
I also agree that hamsters should not be sharing an environment as well. Even if they are only in the same enclosure while being supervised. Showing them together like this in a TH-cam video may make others think that it is ok as well. It is not ok to house hamsters together especially in very small enclosures.
Adolf is a Phodupus cambelli (Cambells Russian dwarf hamster) you can se hes skinnier then Stefan
While Stefan is a Phodupus sungorus (Russian winter white) (Fatter and more round then the Phodupus cambelli) Not the same species so they should not ever be together
Pretty sure Stephan is a girl and Adolph is definitely a male too
They're probably both hybrids rather than purebreds but yeah, totally agreed that they shouldn't be meeting in any circumstances.
You shouldn't use a wire wheel because it can really damage their paws
The look on that cats face gets me every time.
I don't think this person should have hamsters or be babysitting them.
This whole video gives me anxiety
I hope adolf won't fail art class💀
They are called solitary animals for a reason! Won’t be surprised if one ends up dead.
Why would you put them together? That is so cruel 😭
This has got to be purposely made to piss off the hamster community. There’s just no way a person can be this dumb. The amount of careless and dangerous choices is unbelievable.
I think so too
The hamster community tends to over react. I don’t see anything overtly wrong with the way the hamsters were handled in this video.
@@Ronin777z So does dog community
Guys, they don’t read their comments stop trying to tell them how bad their hamster care is because you’ll never get through to them. They’ll figure it out the hard way but at least they’ll figure it out at all (at Stephans though unfortunately)
You should separate them
This is such an awful idea. Hamsters cannot safely live together. I applaud you for initially doing research but it takes common sense to realize solitary animals should not have any contact with one another, especially if they're both males.
Hey a person that's actually educated!
He probably spent two minutes researching and never got past the first paragraph.
I've always been advised never put more than one hamster in the same environment. I did once and the dominant one will chew on the others genitals
this channel is sadistic as hell.
there might be a big chance of small hamsters in your future XD
Or one dead one
This is cute & all but overall an incredibly bad idea.
Hamsters should be solitary. They will most likely kill each other when housed in pairs. I do not advise!
Steven is super cute you should make more videos about him also I'm first
No no and no ! Hamsters are solitary animals, even if there is exceptions they cant be together in such a small cage. They will eventually fight to the death
Adolf is trying to breed with our cutie stephan
hey there, you seem to care a lot for stephan but there is a lot that you're ignoring. ever since the start of this series many people in the comments have voiced their concern for stephan, yet you haven't made any changes at all to protect and properly care for stephan. you should first make stephan's home much, much, bigger, as hamsters in the wild need lots of space, and keeping stephan in that tiny pen is cruel. the metal wheel is also a big problem, as it can hurt stephan's feet, and clearly you have the money to buy a better wheel for stephan. the cat right in front of both hamsters should also be not allowed, as cats are predators of hamsters in the wild, and the fact that you introduced two different species of hamsters, is basically asking for one of them to be harmed, as hamsters are solitary. plus one of the hamsters isn't even yours. i have also seen in the comments that stephan may be a girl. please research about this and the other problems and pay attention to the comments pointing out your flaws please.
You’re like so bad at owning a hamster that it seems abusive 💀🥵😭 literally every video I’ve watched the comments are just FILLED with the things you’re doing that even amateurs would know could harm their pet.
Man, I'm hurt by you thinking that I could forget about Stephean and his hamstarium >:(
yesssss! my fave topic on your channel
I think Adolf got giggity with Stephan(ie) in the last part.
if so, expect to have babies in the Hamsterarium within 15-20 days
Reported this video along with the previous video deetailing this enclosure's build. I encourage others to do the same as they clearly ignore comments criticising their abusive practices and seemingly wants these 'fighters' to harm one another.
I bet ya that in the up coming video there will be a new shock.
Please separate them coz they will
hurt each other. One will beat the other. I’ve seen that in my cousin’s hamsters.
When it said Adolf on the box I thought it was Adolf Hitler
you shouldn't house hamsters together they'll often fight to the death. And that enclosure is way too small for one hamster let alone two
Ukrainians name hamsters after the heroes of their country, so cute.
Stepan (Bandera), and Adolf (Hitler)
poor lil stephan just had a existencial crisis
bro literally called him Adolf
How about every Jeffery, John, or Ted? It's the last name that matters my individual.
R.I.P Stefen 🥲❤🖐🏻 #slivkiShowHindi
Truly bad idea, even 1 month together one of the hamters o my little sister killed the other one, the man who sale them to her lied her that both can be at the same place.
Adolf... SIR THA- THATS AN ILLEGAL NAME
Ones a girl the other is a boy and you're gonna get yourself some little hammys
Someone: please watch over my hamster // This owner: Sure! [proceeds to play with hamsters like toys for amusement in very too small terrarium, irresponsibly exposing them to the possibility of bloody combat]
This is like troom troom of hamster community
They are giving each other kisses 😢❤
Id really like to see a day in the life of cookie hes so dang cute!!! Also love that you include him in almost every video
Yeah, it's teally nice to have a predatory animal which hunts animals like mice in the wild having direct acces to a animal looking almost like a mice... Cookie could grab and kill Stephan before he could even react and try to stop the Cat
Didn't surprise me when Adolph tried to take over all the neutral territory. What did you expect?
The youtuber doesn't know anything about hamsters apparently.
@@derpdadouch3654 That, um, wasn't exactly what I meant. Oh, well...
I’m about 90% sure that “unconscious state” was a test period after mating…
