Oh wow, I didn’t realize you can actually give it to loop. Should have tried harder. Also, you can technically give it to yourself! If you pick up the flower in act five and don’t interact with it (since Siffrin will destroy it if you do) you can interact with it at the very end and Siffrin will say that it’s theirs now
I never thought of giving the flower to the King or the Head Housemaiden. Both are so funny. Especially the HH one. The HH: rambling the usual about the end of the world Sif: aw, you don't like flowers? No need to cry so hard over it though I'm glad I managed to be persistent enough for Loop to accept the gift! :) I thought there would be a secret dialogue if I gifted them flower at the very end of the game, but then realised that Siffrin plucked all the petals during act 5. woops. I can't imagine, though, that Siffrin would be able to keep the flower untouched through his fit, so I'd say I played it in character
I didn't either until I was making this. I went back to offer it to them again so I could record it and realized the dialogue was different. I had to start a new run to get the first line lol
Nope. On the run when I gave it to the Head Housemaiden, I checked that I couldn't give it to anyone else first, and I don't think you can get the flower during act 5
@@EldritchGriffin you can get the flower in act 5! i don't think you cant give it to anyone, but it does mean you get to keep the flower in act 6 as a fun souvenir to look at
I CAN GIVE THE *KING* A FLOWER?! HELL YEAH!! (i don't actually care all that much, i just use charm or flirt as a joke to let a game character leave me be-)
When I get to loop's "Will you ever take it?" try with the flower, they keep repeating the same thing after I try again, how many attempts did it take you to give loop the flower?
I don't have the original footage anymore, but I believe it was only one more time. You can only try once per loop, but if you're looping before each attempt, then maybe your game is bugged? I don't think any of the flower dialogue repeats until the last one where Loop accepts the flower
I had similar repeating dialogue too, where Loop suggested giving the flower to other party members at random before they accepted. They said something along the lines of, "Why don't you give it to your Fighter, I'm sure he'd love anything *you* gave him." for Isabeau, and "Give it to the Kid or something, what kid doesn't like flowers?" for Bonnie. Loop suggested Mirabelle multiple times in a row, but I never got the suggestion for Odile.
"Not a fan of flowers, huh?" is just about the chillest way to approach the Head Housemaiden reacting to the end of the world
"not a fan of flowers, huh?" is the most timeloop siffrin thing to say ever. isat truly has the best writing ive ever seen 💀
IDK WHY BUT THE WAY THAT SIFFRIN IS JUST LIKE "Not a fan of flowers, huh" GETS ME
I love how there's a solid 8 seconds sitting on the line "A flower?" at 03:17 from me being so stunned that I was actually able to give it to her

You can actually keep the flower through to Act 6 if you never interact with it in Act 5! You can't gift it to anyone though; it's yours now.
I should’ve kept trying with Loop! I didn’t persist after they said no the first time :(

“not a fan of flowers huh” HELLPPPPPP
"Not a fan of flowers, huh?"
Yeah I don't think anyone would implode the universe if they were
I DIDN’T KNOW YOU COULD GIVE THE FLOWER TO THE KING
SPOILERS:
If you keep the flower throught the final bossfight, you get to keep the flower. it has some neat dialouge!
Is it possible to give the flower to Isabeau after beating the king?
