I have the same opinion for « Not Now » from Blink which is one of my favorites, if not my favorite, from them but isn’t that popular because it was only in the greatest hits it I recall. Not everyone listen to these songs and know they exist unfortunately.

Was always a favorite of mine! Remember hearing this song in “Fantastic Four” back in the day during the snowboarding scene and searched forever to find it. This is awesome!
Exactly, Fantastic Four! Kinda surprised they never played it live when it was on the soundtrack. Mind you, understand that being in on the soundtrack maybe was a decision outside of the band and also it wasn't like a theme for the movie, but still. Definitely a big Sum 41 favourite and will have to re-learn it on bass. Haven't played it for like 10-15 years probably.
Noots easily could've been the album opener, but having it cap off the entire thing really cements how hard Chuck goes. I think it's the best mix of Sum 41's punk and metal influences, dialed up to 11.

I went to the movie theater to see the Fantastic Four movie in 2005, alone, only because Sum 41 had one song playing in the movie and it was this one! I was 13 back then. Hell yeah Stevo! this song rocks!

I would love for you to do a video about "the Congo story" and the making of Chuck. You are absolutely not exaggerating when you say that is one of the craziest things to happen to a rock band. I don't know how or why I saw this when I was a kid, maybe it was on the news here in good ol Canada... More likely it was on mtv or much music lol. I didn't really grasp the situation at the time ( I was no more than 12 at most when that happened) but for some reason its something that has always stuck with me. Maybe because Chuck is one of my favorite albums of all time? Idk but I would love to hear more about it.

I saw the guys in London on Halloween this year, and they played it for their last encore song! It's one of my favourites, as every time I hear it, all I can think of is the hilarious Basketball Butcher sketch you guys made, where you kill Cone after getting beat at basketball, cut him up, then cook and eat him. Noots plays in the background and it's just forever associated with that in my mind.
Chuck is my favourite Sum41 album, I played the shit out of the CD for years. I was listening on spotify a few years ago, this song came on, and I said what the hell is this? 88 is the closing track, where did this come from? I had never heard it before. I live in the US, but not even a month ago ordered the Japanese version of Chuck, just so I could get my own copy of "Noots," "Moron," and "Subject To Change!"
I had the Chuck cd and listened to it on repeat a billion times. This must have been on the deluxe edition, because I've never heard it before! I like it
@@stevo32drums It wasn't on the US version, at least the CD I always listened to. From Wikipedia I'm seeing that the International, Japanese and SRC Vinyl editions have it as track 14 after 88. The Japanese versions seem to always get the bonus tracks, track 15 from that version is Moron and 16 is Subject To Change. Chuck is to me Sum 41's best album, bonus tracks included

Chuck had so many heavy riffs and that album really solidified you guys as great musicians to me. Pop punk, skate punk and metal you guys did it all!! I loved the heavier and darker tone of chuck. But I think it all worked because deryck has a really aggressive tone when needed along with brown sound ripping metal licks and you on drums with a clear punk metal background it all worked so well! Loved this playthrough and noots is an underrated song, so good!
Chuck is my favourite Sum 41 album, along with Screaming Bloody Murder. But my favourite Sum 41 is and will always be Angels with dirty faces. But from this new Heaven x Hell album i really dig "Its All Me" and "You wanted war". Nothing beats gems like No Reason, Angels with dirty faces, I'm not the One, Subject to change, Open Your Eyes, Jessica Kill, Skumfuk and hidden gem of 13 voices album, a track called Black Eyes. I only happen to had luck to hear No reason live in concert.

Easily top 3, one of my favourite Sum41 songs. I vividly remember hearing this as my brother always listened to you as I was growing up, never realised this was a deep cut and I never noticed it didn't get played live!
This song introduced me to sum41. I heard this song when I rewatched a childhood favourite: Fantastic Four 2005 a few years back(THEY ALSO PLAYED VELVET REVOLVER). I then decided to play this song on stage for my high-school practical music exam on guitar, and everybody loved it. Passed with flying colours, thanks for playing this grammy-worthy gem, Stevo32. Rock on.
I did a bass cover to this song because it was the very first song I learned how to play on the instrument. This is a come-full-circle moment for me, thanks for being a huge part of my teenage years Stevo.
This is a great song. In 2004 summer of screamo and the heavy, melodic operatic stuff alot of people were into detered me from this album because it was much heavier. But kudos to those of you who spoke up! Great song.
The beautiful thing TH-cam has given music is the ability for people to find songs they'd never find otherwise if they don't have the albums. One of the best songs you guys wrote in my mind is "back where I belong" but screaming bloody murder is already kinda a black sheep album in the bands discographies, it's kind of an unknown song

Hi Stevo, just taking the time to thank you for this channel, been following it since your first upload, I'm really enjoying the content, the stories, the fact that some underrated gems like Noots are actually on this channel! I was a hardcore sum41 fan growing up, I stopped following the band after screaming bloody murder, life happened; nonetheless im very happy to see one of my all time favorite drummers coming back to entertain us on his basement!
This song was on the Fantastic Four Soundtrack. That's why it got the cult following, IMO. I bought the original CD for Chuck and it definitely didn't have this song on it and then this awesome song showed up. It's like found money!!! Everyone loves finding free money, man.
Genuinely surprised to hear that Noots wasn't all that popular, was one of my favourite songs growing up. Saw them a few days ago before they played it at the Wembley gig, we got the tour debut of Rythms so I'll take that as a worthy substitute ha.

I can’t believe it’s already 20 years since Chuck came out. It’s such a sick album and Noots is one of the best songs in the album but my favourite is Open Your Eyes. I’ll see Sum 41 live for the first and only time this November in Bologna and I wish you could still be part of them!

Easily top 3, one of my favourite Sum41 songs. I vividly remember hearing this as my brother always listened to you as I was growing up, never realised this was a deep cut and I never noticed it didn't get played live!

This song introduced me to sum41. I heard this song when I rewatched a childhood favourite: Fantastic Four 2005 a few years back(THEY ALSO PLAYED VELVET REVOLVER). I then decided to play this song on stage for my high-school practical music exam on guitar, and everybody loved it. Passed with flying colours, thanks for playing this grammy-worthy gem, Stevo32. This is a great song. In 2004 summer of screamo and the heavy, melodic operatic stuff alot of people were into detered me from this album because it was much heavier. But kudos to those of you who spoke up! Great song.

I was a hardcore sum41 fan growing up, I stopped following the band after screaming bloody murder, life happened; nonetheless im very happy to see one of my all time favorite drummers coming back to entertain us on his basement!
This song was on the Fantastic Four Soundtrack. That's why it got the cult following, IMO. I bought the original CD for Chuck and it definitely didn't have this song on it and then this awesome song showed up. It's like found money!!! Everyone loves finding free money, man.

Genuinely surprised to hear that Noots wasn't all that popular, was one of my favourite songs growing up. Saw them a few days ago before they played it at the Wembley gig, we got the tour debut of Rythms so I'll take that as a worthy substitute ha.
